Yesterday, Qidian introduced a new reward policy to encourage authors. Subscriptions increased from 2 cents to 3 cents per 1,000 words, that is, books with high v subscriptions of 2,000 words will rise from the previous 4 cents to 6 cents. In the pennies, you can get half of it, which is 5%.

As an author, I think this is the tragedy of book writers.

Of course, I don't expect to get something for nothing, but I also hope that I can get something for nothing. Although writing books cannot make scholars support their families, it is at least a very important supplement.

The price increase of 1 cent per thousand words should have little impact on everyone, and the psychological discomfort may be greater than the small loss in the wallet.

I don't know if the reduction in subscriptions is due to the temporary sensitivity of the brothers, or if many people really left, but I still look forward to this change, which can make myself, and even the entire living environment of book writers, better. nice change.

Those at the top, after all, are only a minority, 99% of them rely on penny-for-penny subscriptions to support their meager manuscript fees. If everyone just leaves because of this price increase, it will undoubtedly be a big blow to the authors. All a heavy blow.
