Six Ring Wizard

Chapter 1 Deep Blue

Even in summer, the nights in Dur Valley are always so cold.

There are several holes in the wall of the hut where Herag lives. The cold wind rushes in from the holes, freezing him so much that he can't sleep at all.

He got up in the dark and stuffed the holes with some straw used as a mattress pad. The wind finally died down.

After Herag finished cleaning up, he continued to lie on the bed, but he couldn't sleep.

Because he was hungry, his stomach made a gurgling sound.

"Why did I travel to this kind of ghost place?" He touched his stomach and sighed helplessly.

Every time at this time, he missed the days when he had water, electricity and the Internet.

When he was hungry, he just needed to open his phone and order takeout. After a while, the food would be delivered to his door.

Here, there is only one meal a day, and a piece of black bread and a bowl of potato soup will be distributed at noon.

The black bread is very hard and it is as hard to chew as chewing a stone.

Only white bread is soft and glutinous, but only the noble nobles can enjoy it.

The servants in the castle can only eat black bread.

Old Henry, who is in charge of flower cultivation, told Herag that it would be more delicious if the black bread was soaked in potato soup.

After Herag learned this trick, the black bread was finally not so difficult to chew.

But the body of thirteen years old is in a stage of rapid development, and one black bread and a bowl of potato soup every day are obviously not enough.

Neither full nor nutritious enough.

But such conditions have surpassed many people. He lives in the castle of the noble Baron Buck and is responsible for raising horses.

One meal a day can keep him from starving to death. Outside the castle, there are many people who are on the line between life and death and homeless people.

The castle is safe enough and has a stable source of food. As long as you don't anger the noble noble ladies and masters, you won't have to worry about your life.

However, Herag is an earthling who has received modern higher education. How could he be willing to be a groom for life.

"The self-repair of the deep blue chip has been completed."

When Herag heard this familiar voice, he was stunned. He wondered if he was hallucinating.

Deep Blue is the name of his gene chip. Everyone in his previous life had a gene chip, which was responsible for data analysis, processing and storage, and played a strong auxiliary role in people's daily life and work.

"Environmental abnormality detected, localization compatibility in progress."

"Localization compatibility completed, Deep Blue is operating normally."

Two chip prompts sounded in his mind, and Herag confirmed that he was not hallucinating.

"Deep Blue, check the current physical state."

"Herag Merlin: Strength 4, Agility 5, Constitution 4, Spirit 2."

Herag looked at his physical data and was speechless for a while.

This is definitely stunted.

Now that he has a gene chip, he has a rough plan for the follow-up in his mind.

The next morning, Herag woke up early.

Before dawn, he came to the stable with a lantern and put the horse feed in the trough one by one.

The horses in the stable had woken up, looking at Herag expectantly, with hot air in their noses.

Horse feed is a mixture of hay and some beans, and they eat better than their servants.

Herag honestly did not steal horse feed. He remembered that his predecessor was executed for stealing feed frequently.

After finishing his affairs, he came to the back garden. Old Henry should be watering flowers in the garden at this time.

There are many kinds of flowers planted in the back garden, most of which are varieties that did not exist in the previous life.

"Deep Blue, from now on, record all the information of animals and plants that have not been seen."

"Received, the task has been filed and started to be executed."

Herag knows the importance of data, and these data will always be useful.

Old Henry is an old man in the castle, who has been raising flowers here for a lifetime.

He started watering the flowers with a bucket as usual, and carefully cleaned the fallen leaves and other debris in the flowerbed.

"What are you doing here so early, kid? What's the matter?" Old Henry noticed Herag and glanced at him.

"Come and chat with you old man." Herag said with a smirk.

Old Henry said disdainfully: "If you have anything to say, just tell me directly. I will soon meet the gods, and I can't help you for many times."

Old Henry has a low sense of presence in the castle. He has no children, and only Herag often comes to chat with him.

Herag is already in a position like his own grandson in his heart.

He knows Herag too well. He must have come so early to ask him for help.

Herag smiled and said: "Old Henry, your bow is still there. I'll borrow it to go hunting. I'll treat you to meat when I get the prey."

"Bow?"

Old Henry looked at Herag's thin body with some contempt, and questioned: "Can you draw a bow? And have you learned archery and hunting? Don't waste my arrows."

"Just lend it to me for a while, I promise, when you go to meet the gods, I will find a good place for you in the back mountain and erect a monument for you." Herag vowed.

If a servant in the castle died, they would just find a random place to bury him, so there would be no tombstone.

Old Henry hesitated for a moment, and was a little tempted, but finally said helplessly: "The bow is hanging on the wall in the room, go get it yourself, but don't break it."

"Thank you, old Henry!" Herag ran into the house without looking back, fearing that old Henry would regret it.

Herag took the longbow off the wall, and the bow was spotless. It can be seen that old Henry took good care of it.

He heard that old Henry was a good archer, but now that he was old, he had never seen him draw the bow again.

Herag's thin body carrying the bow always looked a little out of place.

There were only seven arrows in the quiver, which was enough for Herag.

"Herag, where are you going?" asked the guard at the castle gate.

"Hunting!" Herag said with great momentum.

The guard couldn't help laughing: "Hahaha, you are not even as tall as the bow, don't shoot yourself out."

Another guard laughed and said: "Help me shoot a red finch, that thing is delicious when roasted. If you shoot it, I will give you ten copper coins for a red finch."

"That's what you said, get the copper coins ready." Herag said seriously.

"Hahaha!" The two guards found it interesting to see him look serious.

Herag carried old Henry's bow out of the castle. There was a long slope at the entrance of the castle, and below the slope was the winding Green River. There is a suspension bridge over the river, which has been lowered at this moment, and a carriage is passing by.

He looked from afar and recognized that it was Baron Buck's carriage, but he didn't know where it was going.

Opposite the castle was a dense forest, which was the goal of Herag's trip.

It is said that there are beasts in the depths of the forest, and even powerful knights find it difficult to deal with them.

Herag only dared to wander around the edge of the forest and did not dare to go deep into it. He was too weak now.

"Deep Blue, turn on detection, always pay attention to the surrounding movements, and prevent potential dangers."

"Environmental detection has been activated."

After a green light flashed across Herag's vision, the forest in his eyes suddenly changed a lot.

All the plants were glowing green, and there was a faint red light on the animals, which made it easier for him to distinguish the lurking animals.

There was also a small circular map in the upper right corner of the field of vision, with large and small red and green light spots distributed on the map.

"Start hunting!"
