Chapter 9 Flying to Hogwarts
On the last day of summer vacation, Mrs. Weasley conjured up a sumptuous dinner.
Everyone happily gathered around the table, tasting delicious honey pudding, while watching Fred and George's laborious fireworks show. These fireworks have obviously been improved by them. They are all shapes that are not on the flyer, scattered orange , red and blue stars filled the kitchen, bouncing back and forth between the ceiling and walls for at least half an hour.
At ten o'clock in the evening, after the last cup of hot chocolate, everyone was put to bed by Mrs. Weasley.
Because he and Harry slept in the same bed, Ivan could feel that the other party was turning over all the time, which made him sleep extremely unsteady.
The next morning, Harry woke up early, looking very bad.
"Ai Wen, I dreamed that I became a big snake last night, and then... In short, this dream was terrible!"
"Harry, you're just too nervous because school is about to start." Ivan let out a big sigh.
"Hopefully so, and hopefully everything goes well today," said Harry.
His wish was clearly counterproductive. After breakfast, everyone was in a hurry to pack things like headless flies. Mrs. Weasley rushed around looking for spare socks and quilts, always on the stairs with the twins. Weasley nearly broke his neck when he tripped over a chicken in the yard as he carried Ginny's suitcase into the car.
When everyone got into the car, Mr. Weasley started the engine and the car drove out of the yard. They went back and forth three times in less than half an hour, and by the time Ginny finally climbed into the car, it was late and the people were already in high spirits.
By the time they got to King's Cross, there were five minutes left to drive.
"Okay, children, we don't have much time, cross this wall as soon as possible, and be careful not to be noticed by Muggles." Mrs. Weasley looked nervously at the wall clock on the wall, and ordered, "Percy first indivual!"
When Percy entered platform nine and three-quarters, Mr. Weasley took his luggage and followed, followed by Fred and George.
"I'm taking Ginny, and the three of you follow closely."
Mrs. Weasley finished speaking to Ivan, Harry and Ron, grabbed Ginny's hand and walked forward, and disappeared in a blink of an eye.
"Let's spend the three together, it's only a minute," said Ron.
"Okay, what should we do?" Ivan was hesitant. He originally planned to follow Percy's second one, but who knew that it was a bit slower because of the luggage cart and was arranged by Mrs. Weasley to meet Harry. , together with Ron.
If I remember correctly, the wall should have been sealed by Dobby by now.
"Ai Wen, you follow me, don't be nervous, as I introduced you before, the platform is behind this wall." Harry explained, "If you are afraid, you can trot for a while."
In fact, he and Ron did. A few feet away from the wall, they ran up and slammed into the wall with great confidence.
Ai Wen hurriedly closed his eyes, unable to bear to see the unfortunate appearance of the two of them, hitting the wall at their speed, it looked painful.
The next second, no accident, the two cars hit the partition wall and bounced back.
Ron's box slammed to the ground, knocking Harry over; Hedwig's cage bounced off the shiny floor and rolled to one side; Hedwig screamed angrily. Many people gathered around them, and a guard next to them shouted, "What the hell are you doing?"
"The car got out of hand," Harry gasped, clutching his ribs and getting up.
Irving ran over to pick up Hedwig, where she was still yelling, causing many onlookers to say they were cruelty to animals.
"Why don't we make it through?" Harry whispered to Ron.
"I don't know!" Ron walked over and quietly pushed the wall. "This has never happened before, we're going to miss the train!"
"I don't understand why the passage is sealed by itself..."
Harry looked up at the big clock. He carefully pushed the car against the wall and pushed it with all his strength, but the wall remained motionless.
"This wall was cast with an obstacle spell, which is a bit like a lot of obstacles, but it's more advanced. Obviously someone did it on purpose." Ai Wen followed up and checked, and the three of them were not at the current level of magic. crack.
"Who would be so boring just to keep us from catching the train?!"
"I'm guessing it's Malfoy!" said Ron blankly. "It's over, the train is leaving, what if Mom and Dad can't come and pick us up, does either of you have Muggle money on you?"
"The Dursleys haven't given me pocket money for six years!" Harry laughed dryly.
"Neither did I. I exchanged all the money for Jin Galleon and spent it at Diagon Alley." Ivan took out his pocket, knowing that he should have kept some.
"Okay, I don't know how long it will take for my parents to come back to us, what should we do now?" Ron looked around nervously, and because Hedwig was screaming, many people were watching them.
"I think we should use Hedwig to write a letter to the school explaining why we were late," Ivan suggested.
"Irving is right, but before that, we should go back to the car." Harry tried to appease Hedwig to make it quiet, "It's too conspicuous here."
"Harry!" exclaimed Ron, eyes lit up. "The car! You know, that car was modified by my dad, and we can fly to Hogwarts!"
"Ron, this is not a good idea, we can't use magic outside the school." Ai Wen hurriedly shook his head, trying to persuade the other party to give up the idea.
"Come on, Evan!" Ron's eyes shone brightly, "We're trapped, right? We have to get back to school, don't we? In a real emergency, little wizards can use magic too. , there are provisions in paragraph 19 or paragraph 19 of the "Restriction Regulations"..."
"Can you drive?" Hearing Ron's explanation, Harry turned from panic to excitement.
"No problem, I've seen Fred and George drive many times!" Ron said, turning the car toward the exit, "Come on, if we catch up, we can still keep up with the Hogwarts Express. Especially you, Ai Wen, you are going to be sorted this year, which is the most important thing for the newly enrolled little wizards, we can't be late!"
"Yeah, Ai Wen." Harry said in agreement, "It's scary enough to think about not being in time for the sorting ceremony."
"Going to school in a flying car is a really scary thing." Looking at the excited expressions on the two people's faces, Ai Wen followed weakly.
After Harry and Ron made up their minds, he found that he had no other choice but to cooperate. At this moment, Ivan missed Hermione immensely. If she was here, she would definitely be able to stop these two people.
Ai Wen doesn't have this ability, especially in his heart, he also wants to see a flying car, but when he thinks of the result of this incident, he can't be happy.
They would be seen by Muggles, Mr. Weasley might lose his job, and for a freshman, Irving wasn't sure what impact his unusual approach would have had.
"Guys, I think we should..." Ivan was making his last effort.
"Evan, hurry up!" Ron didn't wait for him to finish, and started the car with his wand. "Harry, take a look at whether anyone is paying attention to us."
"No, there's no one on this street." Harry stretched out his arm and dragged Ivan, who was standing outside the car, in.
The next second, Ron pressed a small silver button on the dashboard. Their car disappeared, and so did the three of them.
Irving felt the seat vibrate, he could hear the sound of the engine, and then he found himself floating on the dirty street full of parked cars.
"Take off!" Ron yelled.
The ground and filthy buildings on both sides sank and disappeared for a while. The cars rose higher and higher, and a few seconds later the entire city of London unfolded beneath them, smoky and gleaming.
