Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 33 The House Elf Dobby

Ivan saw Harry fall into the mud, splashing all over the place.

The rain splashed down Harry's face, his arms hanging in the air at a very strange angle. Ai Wen hurried to the center of the field, he couldn't watch Harry get his bones removed by Lockhart.

By the time he made his way through the crowd of onlookers, Lockhart was already standing in front of Harry.

"Don't worry, it's all up to me, kids!" he said comfortingly. "It's just a simple spell that I've used countless times."

As he spoke, he rolled up the sleeves of his emerald green suit.

"No, no!" Harry said weakly.

But it didn't work, Lockhart was already spinning his wand. A second later, he aimed his wand at Harry's arm.

There was no time to stop it, and Ivan had to take out his wand and aim at Harry as well.

"Armor!" he shouted.

In the next second, a red light flew from the tip of the wand, and Lockhart's spell arrived at the same time as the light blue spell of Lockhart hit him.

Maybe the training had worked during this time, or maybe Lockhart's magic level was too low. All in all, everyone saw Lockhart's spell bounced back.

The light blue arc flashed a beautiful trajectory in mid-air, hitting Percy who was standing beside Lockhart without error.

Percy suddenly fainted, and the people around were gasping for air.

They saw that Percy's cursed left arm was instantly evacuated and drooped weakly, like a thick, flesh-colored rubber glove.

"My God, his bones are gone?!"

"Ha!" Lockhart looked equally panicked, "Yeah, yes, this happens sometimes, it must be some reaction between Ai Wen's iron armor spell and mine. But don't worry. , which classmate can carry him to Madam Pomfrey, and she can fix him again."

Fred and George glared at Lockhart, carrying Percy to the campus hospital, and Ginny followed with a pale face, tears in the corners of her eyes.

In the school hospital, Madam Pomfrey took only a second to connect Harry's bones, but when she saw Percy's arm, she looked very unhappy.

"What have you done to him?! Poor boy, his entire arm is boneless, and I need to regrow them now."

"Sorry, Percy, I didn't expect this..." Ivan looked frustrated.

"It was just an accident, Evan!" Percy shook his head.

Irving, Harry, Hermione, and the Weasley family were all around Percy's bedside, with worry written all over their faces. Although Gryffindor won the Quidditch match, seeing Percy's current appearance, he didn't. People can be happy.

"It's all Lockhart's fault. There's something wrong with that spell," Fred said.

"This can't be blamed on him, it's Aiwen's iron armor spell that reacted to his spell." Hermione defended Lockhart.

"Everyone knows that armor shields just bounce the spell back," George said.

"But......"

"Why are you still protecting Lockhart, Hermione?"

Ron exclaimed, "If Harry or Percy want the bone removed, they'll ask for it themselves."

"Everyone makes mistakes." Hermione flushed, "Lockhart wants to help too."

"He's doing a disservice, if it weren't for Ai Wen, Harry would be lying here now."

"Keep quiet, children!" Madam Pomfrey walked back with a large bottle labeled "Bone Spirit" on it, "You should give him more rest, it's been a tough night, long bones are A very uncomfortable thing."

She said, pouring out a steaming mug and handing it to Percy.

Everyone watched Percy swallowing the raw bone spirit with pain on his face, coughing and spitting, Ginny hurriedly fed him a few mouthfuls of water.

After Percy was relieved, Madam Pomfrey told them to leave quickly, while the Weasleys insisted on staying with Percy for a while.

However, Madam Pomfrey disagreed with so many people staying here. In the end, Ivan, Harry and Hermione had to go back to the common room first.

"Don't worry, Ai Wen!"

Harry patted Ivan's shoulder, "It's not your fault, if you weren't there just now... Percy was just too unlucky, he shouldn't be so close to Lockhart."

"Harry, Professor Lockhart is just trying to help you, the problem is that crazy Bludger, someone has put magic on it!" said Hermione.

"But who is..."

"I think I know."

Ai Wen pulled them into the empty Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom next to him and explained, "It's Dobby, the house elf, who casts magic on Bludgers."

Ai Wen said what he saw, and when he was halfway through, a green figure suddenly appeared in front of the three of them.

In the dim classroom, Dobby stared at the three of them pitifully with his big tennis-like eyes, a teardrop rolled down his long pointed nose.

"Dobby, what are you doing here?" Harry said in surprise.

"Harry Potter is back at school," he whispered sadly. "Dobby reminded Harry Potter several times. Ah, sir, why didn't you listen to Dobby's warning? Harry Potter missed the train, Why don't you go home?"

"Wait, how did you know I missed the train?" Harry asked suddenly.

Dobby's lips trembled, and he looked suspiciously like that.

"You did it?!" Harry said slowly, "You sealed the wall so we couldn't pass!"

"That's it, sir," Dobby said, nodding desperately, flapping his big ears, "Dobby hid by the side, waiting for Harry Potter, then blocked the passage, and Dobby had to iron himself afterwards. hand!"

He held ten long, bandaged fingers to the three of them.

"Why are you ironing your hands?" Hermione said in surprise.

"Because Dobby wants to punish himself, but Dobby doesn't care, Dobby thinks Harry Potter is safe now, and Dobby never dreamed that Harry Potter and his friends actually took another road to school!"

He swayed back and forth, and his ugly big head kept swinging, which made Ivan have to doubt his IQ.

"Dobby was astonished to hear that Harry Potter was back at Hogwarts and burned his master's supper! What a flogging, Dobby has never experienced it before, sir..."

"You almost got Ivan, Ron and I fired!" Harry said angrily, "You'd better disappear quickly and strangle you before I can hold back."

"Dobby doesn't care!" Dobby smiled lightly. "Dobby is used to death threats. Dobby hears it five times a day at home."

"Wait, who's threatening you?" Hermione frowned.

"Dobby can't tell the master's name." Dobby shook his head, "Dobby can't reveal the master's secret."

He blew his nose from the corner of the dirty pillowcase he was wearing, and he looked pitiful.

"Okay, why are you wearing this, Dobby?" Harry asked curiously, looking less angry than at first.

"It's a sign of house-elves' slavery!" Dobby tugged at the pillowcase.

"Slave?!" Hermione frowned even more.

"Yes, Dobby is only free when his master gives him clothes. The family is careful not to give Dobby even a pair of socks, because then Dobby is free and just leave their house forever."
