Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 10 Professor Snape

If I had to describe this trip in two words, it would be bad.

Especially as they were about to arrive at Hogwarts, the car was clearly exhausted, and after a hoarse taxi, it landed on the beater willow next to the school's forbidden forest, making an already bad trip bad downright.

The crazy branches slammed over, seeing that he was at risk of being shot into meat sauce, Ivan closed his eyes in fear, he could hear the screams of Ron and Harry.

The car was badly deformed, and shards of scattered glass slashed the boys' cheeks.

Ivan wanted to take out his wand, but failed, the car shook violently, and he and Harry collided heavily. Outside, a branch as thick as a battering ram was frantically pounding the roof of the car, which seemed to sag.

"Run!" Ron shouted, pushing the door open with all his strength, and then he was slammed back by another branch.

"We're done!" The roof collapsed, just one last bit.

Just when the three of them were desperate, the engine of the car suddenly restarted, and they escaped from the beating willow with them.

Before Ai Wen could breathe a sigh of relief, he was thrown out of the car heavily. Next to him were Harry, Ron, and the luggage of three others. Then, he saw the car drive into the darkness without turning back, the taillights still flashing angrily.

"Can you believe there's such unfortunate luck, so many trees, we just hit the one that hits people!" Ron grimaced, leaning over to pick up Scabbers, his wand snapped as he landed Now, it is only connected by a few strands of wood chips.

He looked back at the old tree, which was still waving its branches menacingly.

"Let's go!" Harry said tiredly, "We'd better go to school, Ivan has to be sorted, and the time is just in time."

The triumphant arrival was not at all as originally imagined, and the three boys were stiff and cold and sore. They grabbed the broken box and began to drag it up the grassy slope, towards the two oak gates.

"Look, the banquet has started!" Ron said, pointing to a bright window in the Great Hall in the distance, "Hey, we better hurry up, I saw Professor McGonagall take out the Sorting Hat, and it's about to begin. Sorted!"

Harry and Ivan followed the direction of Ron's fingers and looked into the window together.

In the spacious and bright auditorium, countless candles stopped in mid-air, and below it were four long tables full of people. The golden plates and goblets on the tables shone brightly, and the stars on the ceiling complemented each other.

Irwin had read in "A History of Hogwarts" that the ceiling was enchanted to reflect the sky outside.

Across the dense black pointed Hogwarts hat, Ivan saw the freshmen lined up in a long queue to enter the auditorium nervously. Ginny was among them, pale and looking around as if searching for herself from time to time.

Meanwhile, Professor McGonagall, with glasses and her hair tightly tied into a bun, placed the famous Hogwarts Sorting Hat on the stool in front of the freshman.

Professor McGonagall began to pronounce his name, and a very thin, grey-haired boy was called to the front, putting on the sorting hat.

"Come on, it's five minutes from here across the corridor to the Great Hall, hope you don't run into Peeves."

"Wait!" Harry whispered suddenly. "There's an empty seat on the teachers' bench. Where's Snape?"

"Who knows, maybe he's ill!" said Ron hopefully.

"Maybe he's gone," said Harry excitedly, "because he didn't become a Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher again!"

"Maybe he got fired!" Ron followed excitedly. "You think everyone hates him!"

"Maybe, he is standing outside the gate, waiting for us to explain to him why he didn't come by the school train." Ivan sighed heavily.

He saw a thin black-haired man with grayish-yellow skin, an aquiline nose, and long oily hair draped over his shoulders, standing on the steps outside the castle gate, looking at them coldly.

The smile on Snape's face told Ivan that the three of them were in a very bad situation.

"Ah, look who I met, the famous Harry Potter, and his two good friends." With a slight, low hiss, Ivan saw Professor Snape's disgusting eyes Scanning himself, "You must think that the school train is not enough fun, and you want to play an exciting game, don't you?"

"Sir, we don't have it, it's the wall of King's Cross, it's..."

"Quiet!" said Snape coldly. "Follow me!"

They followed Snape up the steps and into the open, echoing hallway lit by torches. The smell of food wafted from the Great Hall, but Snape led them away from the warmth and light, down the narrow stone stairs to the basement.

"Sir, we have to go to the auditorium, and Ivan has to be sorted." Harry said with courage.

"Quiet!" Snape interrupted Harry again. He opened a door in the cold corridor and pointed inside. "Come in!"

As Snape watched, the three boys walked into his office shivering.

The walls were dark, and on the shelves along the walls lay many large glass jars with disgusting liquids of various colors floating in them. The fireplace was empty and dark.

Snape closed the door and turned to look at the three of them.

Like a poisonous snake watching its prey, after a long time, he asked coldly, "What did you do to the car?"

"What?!" Ron was stunned, he didn't know why Snape knew about cars, could he read other people's minds.

"Weasley, although your empty brain has never had any illusions." Snape unfolded a copy of "The Prophet Japan" of the day, "but obviously, you were seen!"

He showed them the headline: The Ford Anglia can fly, and the Muggles are amazed.

A sneer appeared on Snape's face, and he read aloud: "Two Muggles in London are convinced they saw an old sedan fly over the post office building...noon in Norfolk, Mrs. Hetty Belles drying her clothes. When... Mr Angus-Fleet of Peebles reported to the police...six or seven Muggles in all."

"I remember your father was working for the Muggle Substance Abuse Department?" He looked up at Ron and smiled even more sinisterly. "Gee, his own son..."

Irving noticed that Harry and Ron looked very frustrated, and they seemed to have just thought that if someone found out that Mr. Weasley had performed magic on the car, the consequences would be disastrous.

"And!" continued Snape. "When I inspected the garden, I found that a very precious thumping willow tree seemed to have suffered considerable damage."

"That tree did us more damage!" Ron snapped.

"Quiet, Weasley!" Snape snarled again, his eyes turned to Ivan, "And you, Mr. Mason, I think you have discovered that being the savior's sidekick is not a wise choice, I miss you Will be the first student ever to be expelled from Hogwarts on the first day of school."

"No, you can't fire Alvin!" Harry shouted.

"Obviously, I have this right!" Snape's eyes turned back to Harry and Ron. "As for you two, it's a pity that you are not students of my house, and I have no right to make the decision to expel you. I Now go and find the man who really has this pleasant privilege, and you wait here."

Harry looked pale and looked at Snape's back. He wanted to comfort Ai Wen, but he opened his mouth, but he didn't know what to say. If Snape brought Professor McGonagall, he and Ron would be fine too. where to go.

She might be a little more fair than Snape, but just as stern as hell.

If Irving is expelled by Snape, he and Ron will definitely receive the same punishment from Professor McGonagall. He is not sure where to go after leaving Hogwarts. The Dursleys will definitely not welcome it. His own, maybe he could follow Hagrid and become the school gamekeeper.

Just as Harry was thinking about it, Professor McGonagall followed Snape in.

Her lips were pursed tightly, and she raised her wand as soon as she came in, making the three boys wince, but she just lit the empty fireplace, which immediately caught fire.
