The Evil God of Hogwarts

Chapter 210: Each Person's Thoughts

The white van was driving on the messy street, still some distance away from Pallavi's home.

After getting in the car, the four children breathed a sigh of relief, and Ron fell asleep tiredly leaning against the seat. Hermione was surprised by this, and she couldn't help but sighed: "I really don't know whether I should envy him or be angry."

Pallavi didn't have much hope for Xing Ze to rescue Cedric. She thought Xing Ze would never come back, or just bring back a few corpses.

But everything was beyond her expectations. Xing Ze not only came back safely, but also brought back four students safely.

Except for being frightened and exhausted, and Hermione Granger twisted her foot, the four did not suffer any other serious injuries.

The whole incident shocked her so much that she had to believe that all this was blessed by Merlin.

Praise Merlin. Pallavi prayed in her heart and turned her eyes to Xing Ze.

She felt sorry for giving up the Muggle Studies class, thinking that if she could return to school safely, she would definitely take the class again, even if it was just as an auditor.

So what if the family opposed it? So what if her parents didn't agree? She just liked to study Muggle things, liked those Muggle gadgets, liked Muggle songs, and liked Muggle life.

She might become an alien in the family, or be expelled from the family, or lose her family name. She would also be ridiculed and abused by other pure-blood wizards.

But these were simply incomparable to the dangers Xing Ze had just faced. This man, as Cedric had always emphasized and said, had always insisted on his own path, had always faced it head-on, and had never given up, even though the world had become so crazy.

Yes, since he could do that. Why couldn't she? Today, what she learned was far more real and useful than what she had learned in class.

And when she thought that she had once doubted Xing Ze because of Lena Custer's solemn lies, she felt ashamed.

Cedric beside her was also thinking. At first, he was overjoyed to see Pallavi intact.

You know, if anything happened to Pallavi, it would be his responsibility. If it weren't for his insistence, they wouldn't have ended up like this.

So the moment he saw the girl, Cedric's heart finally fell, and his expression was much more relaxed.

Then he saw Luke at the end of the car. It looked like he had fainted.

He recognized this young master of the Mendes family. When he followed his father to watch the Quidditch World Cup last year, this young master of the pure-blood family rudely humiliated a half-blood wizard in public.

He deserved it. Cedric thought so in his heart, and then cast his eyes on Xing Ze.

This mysterious Muggle Studies teacher always appears in the most dangerous places, probably because of his true identity.

But no matter what, the survival of these people here depends on him. Cedric couldn't imagine how much danger Xing Ze went through to find them.

At least that madman, the mad wizard who was chasing them, was definitely not someone to be trifled with.

Cedric's heart tightened when he thought of that man. He originally thought that he would die in the tower, just like the corpses they saw along the way.

But who would have thought that after the train crisis, Xing Ze saved them again.

This time, Cedric secretly decided that no matter what, he would clear Xing Ze's name in school and let the students know that the person in front of him was not the hypocritical person that Lena Custer said.

At this time, Cedric noticed that Pallavi was also looking at Xing Ze, who probably felt his gaze and turned his head to look over.

The two looked at each other, and then laughed tacitly.

"Tell me again who told you that there is evidence of Snape's Death Eaters here?" Xing Ze asked, while concentrating on the road ahead.

He was not driving fast, because the potholes on the ground could easily make the car sink, so he had to be extra careful.

It was Harry who answered him. The boy pushed his glasses and replied, "It's Mr. Foley."

Xing Ze nodded, secretly made a note in his heart, and planned to go back and ask Barrow Foley.

The goddess of luck didn't know whether it was Xing Ze or Harry Potter who was favored. The van miraculously arrived at the door of Pallavi's house.

Pallavi ran into the backyard with the children and prepared to hide in the basement.

The basement of Pallavi's family was built by his ancestors for hiding in wartime. The walls of the entire basement were engraved with defensive spells. It was probably one of the safest places in the world.

This was the result of the family's spending a lot of manpower and material resources. Speaking of which, it was thanks to Pallavi's great-great-great-grandfather. Although he was a madman, if he hadn't always believed that the end of the world would come, there would not be such a solid basement today.

Xing Ze glanced at Luke behind him. The bleeding from his wound had stopped, but he still needed some treatment.

Xing Ze's decision to go to the hospital remained unchanged, but he did not hold out much hope, as the attack should have happened in half an hour.

For a moment, he was a little shaken, because he was not sure whether his decision was right, and this feeling accompanied him to the hospital.

As soon as he got off the car, Xing Ze smelled a strong smell of blood. He hesitated for a moment, but finally mustered up the courage to take the first step.

Then came the second step, then the third step, the fourth step... He walked faster and faster, the poplar wand was tightly held in his hand.

He almost trotted up the steps, and through the glass door, Xing Ze saw what he was most worried about.

The broken bodies on the ground and the blood-stained walls all proved one thing-he was late.

Exhaling a long turbid breath, Xing Ze felt very tired. He sat down slowly with his back against the main door, stretched out two fingers and pressed on his neck, quietly counting his pulse.

The strong and normal pulse seemed to prove that he was still a human being, but he understood that he had become the same existence as the "monster" who slaughtered the entire hospital.

He took a deep breath and remembered the sentence-no one could know what to do at that moment, and could only choose what they could bear under considerable conditions.

So Xing Ze stood up. He had no time to regret. The choice he made could not be changed. He had known this for a long time, didn't he? Just like the choice he made on the snowy night that year.

Fucking world, why do you do this business?

He asked himself.
