The Evil God of Hogwarts

Chapter 225 An Ominous Sign

Kingsley followed Scrimgeour and asked with some concern: "Should we worry about the signal sent by the wizard?"

"What do you think?" Scrimgeour asked back.

"A distress signal? A warning signal? I'm not sure."

"Then let's take it one step at a time. We don't have time to care about these things now?" Scrimgeour answered, turning and waving to Rogers behind him.

An experienced Auror immediately walked to his side quickly.

"Did you find anything about those wizards?"

Rogers nodded, "One is the Undertaker. I found a tattoo. There are a few others whose identities I didn't have time to confirm."

"The Undertaker?" Scrimgeour frowned, "Is it related to the group we are tracking?"

This operation is not a simple rescue. Since the brewery incident, Scrimgeour has taken the initiative to take over the follow-up work of tracking down the fragments and the Oil Gang.

It is obvious that the Undertaker has been cooperating with the forces behind the Oil Gang, and the forces behind this must be related to the missing fragments. After a long period of tracking and investigation, they locked their target on Jamie of the Avery family.

The eldest son of the Avery family has been in close contact with the undertaker recently. As John suspected, the Avery family is full of doubts.

Unfortunately, the minister of this term is a peacemaker. He doesn't like too tough measures, especially for an ancient wizard family. This is also in line with Cornelius Fudge's usual style.

But what Fudge didn't understand was that in his previous position, generosity, kindness and friendliness would play a good role, but now, he has become the Minister of Magic.

A weak Minister of Magic who is restricted by wizard families everywhere? This is harmful to the Ministry of Magic.

Thinking of this, Scrimgeour had a headache. After the brewery incident, Fudge personally held an internal meeting. He was indignant and said that he would give full support to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and asked the Auror Office to investigate the case and severely punish the criminals.

Scrimgeour had scoffed at those words at the time, and now he was right. After important clues pointed to the Avery family, Fudge changed his tone and asked the Auror Office to obtain the necessary evidence before launching an investigation.

Scrimgeour had expected this to happen, so before submitting the report, they launched the necessary investigation on the Avery family and finally locked the target on Jamie Avery.

Rogers touched his bald head and replied, "That guy should belong to the House of Killers, and he should have nothing to do with the Exploders we are pursuing."

Scrimgeour nodded with some regret, "I remember that the House of Killers is considered difficult even among the Undertaker."

"That's right." Rogers curled his lips, "These sons of bitches are good at assassination and decapitation. There must be something wrong with their appearance here."

Kingsley interrupted, "They are all Undertaker's people. I don't think it's a coincidence that they appear here. If there is a chance, we can catch one and ask about the situation."

"You don't know the Undertaker." Rogers waved his hand, "They are composed of various groups, and there is no connection between them. The people of the House of Killers don't know what mission the Exploders are carrying out."

"Anyway, at least we have information that Jamie is in Ravenscar Village. These Undertaker may know something." Kingsley said again.

Scrimgeour didn't want to continue this useless topic, he interrupted and said: "Our first task is to rescue the director, and other things will be put aside for the time being."

"Hey, team leader." Rogers asked, "Do you think we will meet that Oriental man?"

Hearing this, Scrimgeour frowned and corrected: "He has a name, Xingze. You'd better remember it, Rogers, so as to avoid unnecessary trouble when you meet him."

"Don't be so nervous, team leader. I'm just curious about how capable this wizard who has been mythified by you is."

"It's a pity that you were not there, Rogers." Scrimgeour's mind recalled the situation in the winery that day, and his left hand began to tremble unconsciously. This was the sequelae left since that day.

Until now, he is still taking the medicine given by St. Mungo to alleviate this sequelae. To be honest, he can't remember much about what happened that day.

The therapist said that it was a selective amnesia taken by his brain for protection, but he did not forget the last scene he saw-the young wizard who executed the wax face.

"I'm lucky." Rogers smiled, "but I don't know how it will turn out this time. If the Eastern wizard you mentioned was here, I might feel more at ease."

Just then, gunshots were heard, and a wizard behind them had his head blown off, and the entire team immediately went on alert.

"Sniper! Cover!" Kingsley shouted to the people behind, and everyone found cover as quickly as possible.

Rogers and Scrimgeour hid behind a car, and the dead Auror was on their right side.

Rogers glanced at the body and couldn't help cursing: "Fuck, it's Harrett. Fuck, how should I tell his wife?"

"Focus, Rogers." Scrimgeour whispered. Then he shouted to his men: "Confirm the location of that bastard for me."

"Close your eyes, flash spell." One of the wizards yelled, and then the whole sky was illuminated by a dazzling light.

His partner had already cast the necessary spells on him, so he was not affected by the strong light. Ten seconds later, his partner shouted: "Silver-gray building, fourth floor, that guy is there. Positioning completed."

"Received!"

"Received!"

...

Several other wizards responded immediately.

"Okay, show that son of a bitch some color."

"Hurry up! He's leaving."

The flash spell was canceled, and the wizards who had already prepared spells quickly identified the beacon, and then cast all the spells in their hands on the small building.

The whole small building was instantly blasted into pieces by magic.

Rogers stood up from the back of the car, he walked quickly to Hallet's body, and unconsciously pressed his eyebrows with his left hand.

"Demon-eliminating bullets." He said to Scrimgeour who was walking over, "Damn it, it's demon-eliminating bullets! Why do they have such a thing? Isn't it something that only the church has?"

"This is not the time to dwell on this. We have to leave here quickly." Kingsley reminded, "Team Agate didn't give a warning."

Rogers instantly understood what he meant, "For Merlin's sake, what on earth happened in this damn place." After complaining, he immediately issued a series of orders to the team members behind him.

The old lion looked heavy, afraid that he would lose a lot of experts in this rescue operation, or perhaps they would all be buried here. His left hand shook again.
