Chapter 258 The Burrow
Outside the car window, there are rows of houses next to each other. This is Liverpool, one of the most prosperous port cities in Britain.
Xing Ze recalled why he came here. There were about ten days before Hogwarts started, and his summer home visit was done carelessly.
Some parents were disgusted by his arrival and even let their pets drive him away, but most parents still felt confused and puzzled. After some prevarication and perfunctory, Xing Ze would find an excuse to leave tactfully.
Usually he was in a hurry and had to rush to the next house. At this time, the sleepy parents were like a shot of adrenaline, and suddenly they became energetic.
They would cover up the joy on their faces with full regret and indignation towards their children, and then send Xing Ze out with a polite farewell.
Only a few families were full of joy for Xing Ze's arrival, and one of them was the Weasley family. Ron Weasley did not pass this course as expected.
But considering that he had been fighting with Harry Potter for almost the entire semester, Xing Ze would be surprised if he passed the exam.
As for Harry, he just barely passed the passing line. Otherwise, Xing Ze would most likely visit the Dursleys, although that would be completely useless.
The Weasley family's burrow opened Xing Ze's eyes, and he finally understood what order in chaos meant. It was tea time when he arrived, and he saw the strange building with white smoke from afar.
On one side of the burrow was a pumpkin field, where many magical pumpkins and magical potatoes were planted. On the other side was a flower bed, planted with many flowers that he couldn't name, but most of them were blocked by weeds.
But in the weeds, he saw a little red-haired person.
"Ginny?" Xing Ze called tentatively.
The little person raised his head in confusion, blinked his big eyes after seeing the person coming and asked, "Who are you?"
"Are your parents home? I'm a teacher from Hogwarts, and I'm here for a home visit."
"Oh, wait a minute." The girl clapped her hands on her gardener's apron, and then climbed in through a window on the first floor.
"Ginny!" Mrs. Weasley's voice rang out immediately, "I told you not to climb the window."
"Mom, there's a guest."
"A guest? Who is it?" The sound of footsteps rang behind the door. Xing Ze also heard the voices of George and Fred.
"There's a guest, George, come quickly."
"I bet it's a salesman."
The wooden door creaked open, and Mrs. Weasley stood at the door. She almost blocked most of the door, not because of her plump figure, but because the wooden door at the end was really small. People who don't know would think it was the back door.
"Oh, sir, we don't need..."
Before Mrs. Weasley could speak, Ginny interrupted and said, "He is a teacher at Hogwarts."
The girl poked her head out from behind her mother and looked at Xing Ze. Her words aroused the interest of the twins, and the two boys quickened their pace and came to the door.
"Teacher?" Mrs. Weasley was still thinking about Ginny's words.
"Yes, ma'am." Xing Ze smiled, "I am the teacher of Muggle Studies, and I am here to do..."
He was interrupted again, and George and Fred shouted in unison: "Merlin, it's you, sir. Come in. Mom, let our teacher in."
Mrs. Weasley looked at the twins in disbelief, then quickly stepped aside and nodded to Xing Ze: "Oh, it's really you, Mr. Xing Ze, I'm not dreaming, come on, go and call your father down, and tell him not to take a nap anymore."
This sudden enthusiasm made Xing Ze a little overwhelmed. While he was still hesitating, the twins had already pulled him into the house.
After walking a few steps into the door, they arrived at the dining room. Next to a clean wooden table was the kitchen. On the stove, there was a kettle with steam coming out and a sizzling cast iron pot.
Xing Ze couldn't see what was in the pot because he was pulled to a chair by the twins, but judging from the aroma, it should be bacon and fried eggs.
Mrs. Weasley smiled from ear to ear since she knew his name. She urged George and Fred to wake up their father and asked, "Have you had lunch, Mr. Xing Ze?"
"No need to be so polite, ma'am, just call me Xing Ze. I've eaten, no need to bother."
"Then have some flower tea, it's afternoon tea time, some bacon and fried eggs?"
"Uh, just tea is fine." Xing Ze replied, and he couldn't help but wonder if afternoon tea should be accompanied by desserts and biscuits?
Ginny, who was sitting next to him, waved at him, motioning him to lean over, and Xing Ze leaned slightly so that Ginny could speak in his ear.
"That was prepared for Dad. He worked until dawn last night and went to bed without eating anything." After saying this, the girl did not forget to add, "I picked the flower tea."
"Ah~" Xing Ze nodded and smiled.
A cup of flower tea was placed in front of Xing Ze. Mrs. Weasley rubbed her hands nervously and said, "Sir, please, please don't interrupt me, I insist on calling you that. I have to thank...thank you for saving my son. Ron, Ron Weasley."
"No, ma'am, that's me..."
There was a sound of heavy objects falling to the ground upstairs, and the ceiling on the first floor trembled, and dust and wood chips fell.
Mrs. Weasley had an embarrassed but polite smile on her face. She took away the teacup in front of Xing Ze at a very fast speed, "Change a cup of tea. Sir."
The wooden stairs creaked, the sound became heavier, and then, the rhythmic sound of going downstairs seemed to be disrupted by something.
"Ah--" a man screamed, "Who piled these broken toys here, my toes."
The real culprit who disrupted the rhythm was found, and the case was solved in less than three seconds. Xing Ze thought in his heart, and a smile appeared on his face unconsciously.
Mrs. Weasley covered her face in despair, "Merlin's beard, I have never been so embarrassed as now." She whispered, but Xing Ze still heard it clearly.
Arthur Weasley was a thin man, slightly different from the one in the movie, but his appearance was similar to Xing Ze's impression. He was a little bald, wearing loose flowered pajamas, and looked very tired and confused.
"Merlin...Merlin's beard!" After seeing Xing Ze, he couldn't help but sigh, "I...I...please forgive me, Mr. Xing Ze, for coming to see you like this."
Xing Ze stood up from his seat, shook hands with Arthur and said, "No, no, no, I should apologize. I hope my sudden visit will not cause any inconvenience to you."
"Of course not." Percy's voice sounded at the other end of the stairs, "Ah, the hero of Ravenscar has come to our house, which will definitely make my future resume more exciting."
