Writing Summary
The first volume is over, and I have tried my best to write the whole story. Of course, with limited skills and average ability, there will definitely be many logical dislocations and loopholes.
The creation of online articles needs to balance the amount of updates and the quality of the works. There will often be things that lose one thing while focusing on the other. An online writer who can balance the update and quality is undoubtedly at the level of a great god. So I hope that readers can be more tolerant of me as a newcomer.
The first volume is long and detailed because it needs to explain the background of the story. It must be quite painful for readers who are chasing the update. Starting from the next volume of the secret room, I will write more clearly and refreshingly (probably).
The first volume uses two running group books-the evil sore and the shadow of Ravenscar. They are new running group books. If you need them, you can go to Modu and Chunmei Apple Garden to download them.
In order to make it easier for readers who are not fans of Cthulhu or don’t know about Cthulhu to sort out some things, I will give some detailed setting explanations. If you are a Cthulhu veteran or a legendary investigator, you can skip the following content.
Invisible Church (original): The Invisible Church that appears in the text worships the Old One (one of the names for foreign gods in Cthulhu mythology) called Zhatgua, or Tsathoggua. He is an Old One belonging to the system of the Ultima Thule. He is located in the underground world of N'Geyi and has traveled to the Hyperborean continent (the predecessor of today's Greenland).
Sabbat Cult: The name of the Sabbat Cult comes from Lovecraft's novel "The Sabbat". The god it worships is the well-known foreign god Nyarlathotep (one of the names for foreign gods in Cthulhu mythology), among which the Black Man and the Black Pharaoh are both his avatars.
The holy object owned by the protagonist, the shining triangular octahedral cube, is a prop used to summon his avatar. The summoned dark demon, or night demon, is also the avatar of Nyarlathotep.
Why choose these two gods to appear? Because these two are probably the existences that can communicate more in Cthulhu mythology.
Nyarlathotep often spreads chaos and taboo knowledge among humans. And Zhatagua will show strange kindness to those who go deep into the ground in pursuit of true knowledge.
The most famous one is the great wizard Eibon, who learned profound knowledge from Zhatagua, and his apprentice Theron compiled it into "The Book of Eibon".
As for the opposition and conflict between the two sects in the book, there are also traces. At that time, the cult of Ihewuti was at its peak in Hyperborean, and C.A. Smith, who created the series of the North Continent, once wrote in a letter that Ihewuti was the wife of Nyarlathotep.
The cult of Ihewuti regarded those who worshiped Zhatagua as cults and set about arresting Eibon. The final result was that Eibon and the high priest Morki of the cult of Ihewuti who came to arrest him disappeared together.
In fact, Eibon relied on the knowledge taught to him by Tsathoggua to teleport the two to Cykranosh, that is, Saturn, which is also the hometown of Zhatagua.
Finally, I would like to thank all the readers who have supported me. I cannot repay you for your kindness. I can only try my best to improve my writing speed and write more. Then let's meet in the second volume of the secret room.
PS: I don't know whether to create a group. There is a character collection. You can leave your own character, both villain and good.
