Chapter 1140 Talking All Night

"Why, is Your Majesty looking for me?"

At this moment, a familiar voice sounded, and a slender figure appeared, which greatly surprised Li Shimin!

"Brother!"

"Mr. Qin!"

Li Shimin and Empress Wende shouted in surprise, they really said that Cao Cao and Cao Cao will be here, and they just said that they can only ask him to deal with it, so he is here!

"Why, for the sake of Monk Bianji?"

Qin Hao was afraid that Li Shimin would be blackmailed by Buddhism, so he beheaded Monk Bianji, and had already called him to tell him.

Otherwise, when Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva came, Li Shimin wasn't too surprised.

"Mr. Qin, what should we do now?"

"I have a way to deal with Avalokitesvara, please listen to it."

"good."

In the Tang Palace, the three discussed how to deal with Buddhism all night long.

The next day, a post about Avalokitesvara appeared on the forum.

"About the origin of Avalokitesvara, there is a moving story circulating in the world.

A long time ago, there was a king named Miaozhuang who had three daughters.

The first is Miaoqing, the second is Miaoyin, and the youngest is Princess Miaoshan.

When Princess Miaoshan was born, a strange fragrance filled the room, and everyone in the palace could smell a refreshing fragrance;

Princess Miaoshan has been intelligent since she was a child, and she has insight beyond ordinary people.

One day, the three sisters were playing in the garden together. The eldest sister Miaoqing said: "My sisters and I are sheltered by the shadow of our father, Wang Yu, and we live happily and happily. We often play here, but I wonder if we can do this often in the future?"

The second sister, Miaoyin, said: "People often say that there is no permanent feast, and as women, once we get married, we will follow our husband and wife. How can we often get together like this?"

Princess Miaoshan smiled without saying a word.

The two sisters asked her what she thought, and Miaoshan said to her: "Life is rich and glorious, just like a fleeting cloud. I only wish to be a mountain and a pure place in my life. I think it is a place for practice. Once I cultivate the right fruit in the future, I will return to the world and relieve the suffering of all beings. Eh."

Time flies, and in a blink of an eye, the three daughters grow up one after another, and King Miaozhuang is going to recruit husbands for the three princesses.

The eldest princess Miaoqing and the second princess Miaoyin recruited son-in-law successively, but the third princess Miaoshan refused to live or die. She repeatedly said to her parents: "My child's life, I only wish to practice meditation, and all other glory and wealth are not what I wish. I hope the father can do it." Compassionate children with sincerity."

King Miaozhuang was furious, so he confined Princess Miaoshan in the back garden.

Princess Miaoshan started a serious practice life in the back garden. As time went by, her practice became more and more refined, and her belief became more and more firm.

One day, Miaoshan proposed to his father to go to Baique Temple to become a monk and practice. King Miaozhuang was displeased, but then he thought: the temple is poor, and if she can't stand it, she will naturally return to the palace to get married.

So he agreed to Miaoshan's request, and secretly told the temple master to let Princess Miaoshan work hard.

Miaoshan went to Baique Temple to burn fire and chop firewood, carry water and sweep the floor, and other miscellaneous tasks, doing everything.

But she never complained, she worked hard, and whenever she was free, she would meditate quietly and practice hard.

Her sincerity touched all the gods and gods, so Babu Tianlong, Husi Jialan, Donghai Dragon King, Liuding Liujia, etc. came one after another, and even birds and animals came to help, so that Miaoshan could spare more time for practice. The temple owner had to report the truth to King Miaozhuang.

Seeing that his daughter had no hope of turning back, King Miaozhuang couldn't help being furious.

Immediately, people surrounded Baique Temple to burn it down.

Miao Shan prayed to the Buddha, gnawed his jade fingers with his teeth, and sprayed blood to the sky.

In an instant, dark clouds appeared everywhere, and in an instant, red rain fell from the sky, and the fires in the sky disappeared in smoke, and a catastrophe was resolved in an instant.

King Miaozhuang saw that the burning of the fire could not be done, and his anger was not subsided, so he ordered Miaoshan to be executed immediately.

Miao Shan was escorted to the execution ground, and the executioner was waiting for the order to carry out the execution. A red light covered Miao Shan's body, so the knife was chopped off, and the gun was broken.

Seeing this, King Miaozhuang ordered him to be hanged with red silk.

At this time, a colorful tiger suddenly jumped out, which shocked all the soldiers to their wits. They could only watch helplessly as the tiger carried Princess Miaoshan on its back and jumped towards the black pine forest.

After Miaoshan was carried into the black pine forest by the tiger, she slowly came to her senses. At this moment, she saw a man driving auspicious clouds, slowly approaching him, and said:

"I am not someone else, but Sakyamuni. I am here to guide you on a path. In the South Sea of Yue Kingdom, there is a Putuo Rock, which is the place for you to practice Taoism. I will call the Dragon King to turn a lotus platform for you and help you cross the ocean." .”

Miao Shanji first thanked the Buddha, came to Putuo Rock in the South China Sea, practiced for nine years and achieved success.

A few years later, King Miaozhuang suddenly contracted a serious disease. Only by taking the hands and eyes of his immediate relatives could he be cured.

King Miaozhuang thought that the two daughters Miaoqing and Miaoyin were the most obedient close relatives, so he ordered them to donate their hands and eyes, but the two daughters refused.

At this time, Princess Miaoshan, who had already practiced Taoism, knew about it, so she cut off her hands and eyes, and handed them over to the minister to take back for King Miaozhuang to take.

King Miaozhuang recovered from his illness, and he couldn't help feeling very ashamed when he thought of how he had persecuted Miaoshan in the past, and even ordered him to be executed.

Seeing that Miaoshan had no hands and eyes, he was very sad, so he appealed to the heaven and earth, kowtowed, and begged the gods of heaven and earth to help his daughter recover her hands and eyes.

The gods in heaven were moved by Princess Miaoshan's filial piety, which made Princess Miaoshan grow thousands of hands and eyes.

This is the allusion of the adorned treasured image of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva with thousands of hands and eyes. "

In fact, there is another version of this story. It is said that King Miaozhuang of the ancient Xinglin Kingdom had three beautiful princesses.

The eldest princess is called Miao Jin, the second princess is called Miao Yin, and the third princess is called Miao Shan.

Miao Shan has been a monk since she was a child, but her father refused to allow her to go, so she ran away secretly.

There were 500 monks and nuns in the temple where Miaoshan lived. In a fit of anger, King Miaozhuang burned the temple with a torch, and all 500 monks and nuns were burned to death inside.

Miaoshan, who was practicing in the temple, was also burned. Fortunately, she was carried away by a white tiger and rescued. After going through untold hardships, she came to Xiangshan to continue to believe in Buddhism and practice, and finally became the abbot of Xiangshan Temple.

According to Buddhist scriptures, good will be rewarded with good, and evil will be rewarded with evil.

King Miaozhuang did evil, and five hundred large abscesses developed on his body, and all medicines were used to no avail.

The doctor said that he had to use his own flesh and blood to make medicine with one eye and one hand, so that he could be cured.

The eldest princess was unwilling, but the second princess was reluctant.

The three princesses who practiced are wonderful, kind, and filial. Although King Miaozhuang had done those evil things, when he heard that his father's illness could be cured with an eye and a hand from his own flesh and blood, he gouged out his own eye. Cut off a hand to make medicine for the father.

After King Miaozhuang took the medicine, the abscess all over his body disappeared and his body recovered.

King Miaozhuang heard that Xiangshan Bodhisattva offered his hands and eyes, so he came to worship.

How can a daughter be worshiped by her father? When she saw her father worshiping, Miao Shan turned her body sideways and became a side profile statue with thousands of hands and eyes offered by the temple.

Miaoshan's great filial piety moved Sakyamuni, and Sakyamuni summoned Princess Miaoshan:——
