Hogwarts Everything Is Three

Chapter 143 The Wicked Bird (Modified)

They left the church under the leadership of Simon, and the tall house on fire in front of the church had turned into a pile of charred ruins.

The roof gave way, and a gable wall collapsed on its exterior. In the distance and near, patches of scorched bushes are like scars on the face.

In this calm weather, the black smoke is still rising slowly in a straight line. A great heap of charred ash filled the gaps along the bare walls.

"God bless!" Simon kept drawing the cross on his chest, his eyes pitying.

"Let's go!" Ian urged impatiently.

They were not moving fast, on the one hand through the narrow alleys, on the other hand because Simon kept turning his head and accosting Jessica.

Allen thought he could understand. When a man has feelings of admiration for a woman, his steps must be slow, and he will approach her involuntarily. That's what happened to Simon at this time.

But Ian was obviously very impatient and kept urging. Allen suspected that if Simon was procrastinating, Ian would probably lose control of himself and cast a curse on him.

Simon stopped before a house with white walls and green shutters.

"Here, this is Mr. Bellatrini's house." Simon said, his tone full of regret.

The house in front of me looked very neat and comfortable in the midday sun. But all its doors and windows are closed tightly, tightly shut.

Around the house, Alan and the others turned around a few times, but they didn't find the slightest trace of the Wicked Bird.

"It seems that we are going to break into the house." Allen smiled and drew out his wand.

"Uh, what are you going to do?" Under Simon's horrified eyes, the door opened quietly following Allen's words, "Alahoo hole is open".

"Come in." Ian pushed Simon.

"It's wrong to do this!" Simon resisted all over his body.

"Hurry up, or I'll put a curse on you." Ian resolutely went to the end, his cool expression revealing a trace of unbelievable ferocity.

Although Simon didn't know what the long wooden stick that Ian was pointing at him was, it didn't prevent him from realizing that it was a weapon. The boy who was relatively mild-tempered just now used it to open the door.

Simon kept making the sign of the cross on his chest, murmuring something in his mouth, and followed Alan and the others into Mr. Bertrini's house.

Ian was the last to enter the house. He turned around and closed the door again before stepping up the gravel steps inside.

Before entering the room door, Allen stopped everyone, Jessica and Ian looked at him puzzled, even Simon who was forced to come in was very puzzled.

"Soundless Curse." As soon as Allen mentioned his name, Jessica and Ian understood what he meant. The three of them cast the Silence Curse on themselves. Allen also kindly cast the Silence Curse on Simon.

Simon suddenly felt that his world was silent, without the slightest sound, "What did you do to me? Why can't I hear anything?" He yelled in horror. But what made him even more desperate was that he couldn't hear his own voice either.

"Shut up, idiot!" Ian knew what he was yelling from looking at Simon, but only after he finished cursing did he realize that Simon couldn't hear anything at this time.

Allen led everyone into a large room. He turned on the light switch casually, and a large chandelier hanging from the roof instantly emitted a warm yellow light, illuminating the room brightly.

There was little furniture in the room: only a few golden plates were displayed in a closet, a few large books, and a full suit of armor stood between the two windows.

There are also some exquisite tapestry paintings on the walls. One is embroidered with Jesus being crucified, and the other is embroidered with a shepherd boy and a shepherd girl beside a stream.

The layout of the room is simple but not simple, as can be seen from this well-furnished room,

The owner is a person who loves life and has artistic taste.

It was difficult for Allen to match the crazy family he had just seen in the church with the owner of this house.

"May the Lord bless Mr. Bertrini's family, and may the Lord bless me and Ms. Angel to get rid of these two devils as soon as possible!" Simon prayed for Mr. Bertrini and his miserable self facing the tapestry embroidered with Jesus.

The three of Allen have already started searching the room. Since no one else has gone mad, it means that the witch bird has either flown farther away, or it may still stay in this room. In view of the heavy snowstorm last night and the cold weather this morning, there is a great possibility that the Wicked Bird is still staying in this room.

The three of them went up and down and carefully inspected every corner of the house, but unfortunately, they didn't find any trace of the wicked bird.

Jessica went to the window, lifted the heavy curtains, and shook her head, but the Wicked Bird was not here.

But her actions gave Ian inspiration. Ian pointed to the paintings hanging on the wall, motioned Allen and Jessica to pay attention, then he approached the murals carefully like a cat, and gently lifted the embroidered The mural of the shepherd boy and shepherd girl is actually a cave behind the painting.

There is an iron box in the wall hole, but Allen is not interested in checking the contents inside. If it is his sniffing, he may be very eager for it.

Allen gently returned the mural to its original position, and then walked to another tapestry embroidered with Jesus.

Just when a corner of the painting was lifted, a shining pink bird flew out of the sky. Jessica and Ian responded quickly and cooperated tacitly. Jessica conjured up a net to trap the Witchbird firmly, and Ian's Flying Curse successfully made the bound Witchbird fly into his hands.

"Nice job!" Allen praised loudly, but still couldn't hear anything.

"Well, let me think about it." Allen waved his wand, cast a curse on the witch bird in Ian's hand, so that its beaks were completely closed together, and then lifted the sound-stopping spell on everyone.

Simon found that he could hear the voice again, "You are all looking for the devil bird? Who are you?" He stared at the wicked bird in Ian's hand. Who is it that can control the devil's pet?

"Wizards and witches! I told you so long ago!" Ian felt much better after finding the Wicked Bird.

"Let's get out of here." Having achieved their goal, Allen felt that they should get out of here as soon as possible.

The four quickly evacuated and walked into an alley near the house.

"Gentlemen and ladies, if it's too late for you to repent now." Simon still cared about breaking into Bertrini's house.

"I think our venerable priest's magic experience can end here." Allen praised Simon's courage, but it is better to cast the Forgetting Curse on him as soon as possible to avoid long nights and dreams.
