Chapter 142 Church Rescue (Modified)
The fierce fire has blocked the only door to enter and exit the courtyard. Allen and the others were blocked in this room by the fire. Although the flames could not hurt them because of the Freezing Fire Curse, it was obvious that the air was getting thinner and thinner so they had no choice but to will not leave.
"Should you be able to reveal your followers?" Allen asked Jessica and Ian.
"Of course, little wizards with a little foundation in magic must learn to follow the appearance." Jessica looked at Allen in surprise, "Don't you? Apparition needs to be 17 years old and above to learn..."
"Come and take my arm." Allen clenched the wand in his hand, his gaze firm.
Jessica and Ian suppressed their surprise and put Alan's arm directly.
The next moment, they appeared on the circular platform of the church behind.
"Good luck!" Allen said to the siblings as a prank.
"Don't tell me, is this your first time Apparating?" Jessica's tone was horrified, and Ian also stared at Alan with a look of fear.
"Of course not, how come?" Allen laughed when he saw the expressions of the two of them. "By lucky, I mean we didn't land on something dangerous, and no Muggles saw us."
"Oh, then I think you may be too happy." Ian said with a heavy tone.
Allen and Jessica followed Ian's gaze, and what they saw was a large row of skyscraper arches, which were neatly arranged in front of the main building of the church.
Various figure patterns are carved on the deep porch, with long dripping pipes hanging on both sides of the porch, and the door of the main church building is hidden behind the porch.
And a young priest with disheveled clothes and pale face fell at the door with frightened eyes.
"He's injured. It seems that before casting the Forgetting Curse on him, he needs to heal his wounds." Jessica said calmly.
The three hurried across the porch to the young priest. The priest seemed to have taken all the effort to raise his hand, stretched out in Alan's direction, moaned and made a faint cry for help: "Help me!" His lips and eyelids were trembling constantly.
When the three ran to him, he was completely unconscious.
"This is bitten by a fox, and I need to take an antidote." Jessica often does housework and is very familiar with this creature.
"The antidote happens to be on me." Allen made a gesture and took out a small bottle of medicine from the large pocket of his coat, but actually from the storage space.
"Why do you carry this with you?" Ian asked strangely.
"It's not an antidote specifically for fox bites, but a general antidote. When you go out, you naturally have to carry it with you. In fact, I also brought a few bezoars." Alan shrugged nonchalantly, and Ian stopped talking .
Jessica took the antidote, Ian held down the priest's body with one hand, and raised his head with the other. Allen opened his mouth, and Jessica slowly poured the potion into the priest's jaw.
Soon, under the influence of the potion, the young priest came to life. He opened his eyes, and his eyes happened to meet Jessica's. He felt a shock go through his body, and he saw a rainbow of colors before him.
Clearly, Jessica possesses a charisma beyond compare.
"Are you an angel?" the young priest murmured foolishly. Jessica laughed all of a sudden, and this sudden smile made the young priest even more fascinated.
"She's a witch." Ian pulled Jessica away without a good voice.
The young priest obviously didn't believe it. He tried his best to support the door frame and stood up, "You are angels. I saw you suddenly appear on the round platform. My name is Simon Rawls. Thank you for saving my life." Fate! Thank God!"
"You should thank Merlin!" Ian snorted coldly.
"You don't need to thank me, it may be because the house in front was on fire, Hu Meizi escaped,
It's normal to be bitten by you just by chance. "What Allen guessed was exactly the truth. This unlucky priest just happened to meet the fleeing Hu Meizi.
"Okay, it's time to cast the Forgetting spell on him, and we still have to look for the Witch Bird!" Ian urged, displeased with Simon.
"Don't worry, we can just ask him." Jessica seemed very interested in Simon, and she had never had such close contact with No-Maj.
"Have you ever seen a bird with dazzling pink feathers?" Jessica's soft and soft voice was very moving.
"In this world, the lady in front of me is definitely the cutest person." Simon couldn't help thinking.
"Are you looking for a devil bird?" Simon asked.
"Devil Bird?" Allen asked with interest.
"Yes, Mr. Bertrini's family became crazy after seeing the Devil Bird." Simon crossed himself on his chest.
The three of Allen looked at each other meaningfully, and the singing of the Wicked Bird happened to make those who heard it lose their minds.
"Can you take me to see them?" Jessica asked softly.
"Of course, it is my honor to serve you." Simon seemed to have received a great honor, his face was radiant, and he couldn't see that he was dying just now.
"Follow me, please." Simon turned to the aisle on the right side of the church. Alan and the others followed closely behind.
Although the church is not very grand, the interior decoration is very imposing. Six large, stout columns support the bright vault. A pair of ornate pendants hang from the center of the vault.
On the right side of the church, behind the altar is a curved wall carved with many reliefs, densely packed like a honeycomb.
There are also many window holes on the wall, with different shapes, some are like stars, some are in the shape of trefoil, and some are like wheels.
The windows are fitted with glass so that air can circulate freely in the church.
Many candles were burning, about fifty or sixty. The state of candlelight is not the same, some are brilliant and bright, some are half-bright and half-dark.
On the steps in front of the altar, there were four Muggles, with disheveled clothes and strange decorations on their heads, bound and kneeling in front of the altar.
They have strange smiles on their faces, as if immersed in their own world.
Jessica stepped forward and waved her wand, and the ropes around them tore apart and slid from them to the floor. The four people knelt down piously as if they had just woken up from a dream, and prayed silently.
In just a split second, they had been cast with the Lucidity Charm and the Forgetting Charm.
Seeing this scene, Simon was even more convinced that Jessica was an angel sent by Jesus.
Allen and Ian took Simon's side alone, turned and returned to the hall of the church.
"Now take us to the place where they saw the Wicked Bird." Ian said viciously.
Simon looked at Jessica, did not refute Ian, nor did he mind his bad attitude, and led the way obediently.
