Chapter 805 Before Departure

Harry suddenly woke up completely at half past five the next morning, as if someone was shouting loudly in his ears.

For a short while, he lay firmly on the bed, the scene of the disciplinary hearing filling every corner of his mind, almost unbearable for Harry, and he jumped out of bed and put on his glasses.

Fan Lin had left early, and he was not the only one leaving today. In Fan Lin's words, if possible, he would be willing to accompany Harry to the hearing.

Mrs. Weasley had cleaned his jeans and t-shirt and placed them at the foot of the bed. The blank painting on the wall was also chuckling. Ron lay splayed on his back, mouth agape, and fell asleep quickly, not being awakened when Harry crossed the room.

Harry walked out of the bedroom and stood on the floor, closing the door gently behind him. Harry tried to think about the problem systematically again. He looked at Ron and thought that maybe they could never be classmates at Hogwarts again.

Harry calmly walked downstairs, past the heads of Kreacher's ancestors, and then down into the kitchen.

He originally hoped that there was no one in the kitchen now, or that it was just Fanlin himself... But when Harry reached the door, he heard low voices coming from the other side.

He opened the door and saw Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Sirius, Lupin and Tonks sitting inside, while Fanlin and Hermione were at the end of the table... This scene almost seemed like they were waiting for him. Same.

Everyone was dapper except Mrs. Weasley, who wore a quilted purple nightgown.

She was busy making breakfast when Harry came in.

"Breakfast," Mrs. Weasley pulled out her wand and hastily lit the fire.

"Good-morning, Harry," said Tonks, yawning. Her hair was white this morning and slightly curly. "Come and sit down." She pulled out a chair and moved the one next to her.

"What do you want, Harry?" Mrs. Weasley asked. "Porridge? Waffles? Kippers? Bacon and eggs? Or toast?"

"Just - just toast, thank you," said Harry. Lupine glanced at Harry and then said to Tonks, "What did you say happened to Squam?"

"Oh...yeah...ok, we need to be more careful, he's been asking Kingsley and me some weird questions..." Harry felt vaguely grateful that he didn't need to be a part of this conversation. His body was squirming.

Mrs. Weasley placed two slices of toast and marmalade in front of Harry; he tried to eat them, but they were tasteless. Mrs. Weasley sat on the other side of him and started fussing with his T-shirt, flattening the labels and smoothing out the creases from the shoulders. But Harry hoped she wouldn't do it.

"…and I have to tell Dumbledore that I can't do the night shift tomorrow night, I'm just too - too - tired," Tonks said, letting out another huge yawn.

"You have to learn to adapt, Tonks." Fan Lin smiled, "Moody said that this is a very important job, but after we leave, there will only be Mr. Weasley and Weasley." Madam and Mr. Lupin can help you, but Bill should be back in two days..."

"Oh, thank God, but I won't let him go." Tonks said with a big mouth.

"I'll do it for you," said Mrs. Weasley. "I'll be fine. I have a report to finish anyway."

Mr. Weasley did not wear wizard robes, but pinstriped trousers and an old-fashioned bomber jacket. He turned his head from Tonks to Harry.

"How does it feel?"

Harry shrugged. He was a little numb. Fanlin and Tonks' teasing did not arouse his interest at all.

"It'll be over soon," said Mr. Weasley, cheering up. "You'll be fine in a few hours."

"The hearing is being held in the office of Emira Bones, who is on the same floor as me. She is the head of the Magical Regulations Enforcement Department, which is the department that is investigating you."

"Emira Bones is a good person, Harry," Tonks said sincerely. "She is fair and she will listen to your statement carefully."

Harry nodded. He still had nothing to say. In fact, he felt a little out of place at this moment.

"Don't be like this, Harry, it's not a big deal, and..." Fan Lin came over and said, "Hermione and I agree that you will see the person you want to see."

"Meet someone?"

"Of course Dumbledore." Hermione glanced at Fanlin, "That's it, Harry, Dumbledore can't ignore you, and..."

"And don't lose your temper," Sirius said suddenly, "be polite and stay true to the facts."

Harry nodded again.

"The law is on your side," Lupine said calmly, "Even underage wizards are allowed to use magic in moments of life and death."

Suddenly a chill ran down Harry's neck and down his back; for a moment Harry thought someone had cast a Disembodiment spell on him, then realized that Mrs. Weasley was combing his hair with a wet comb. She pressed hard on the top of Harry's head.

"Has your hair ever been flat?" Mrs. Weasley asked disappointedly.

Harry shook his head.

Mr. Weasley checked his watch and then looked up at Harry. "I think we're going to go now," he said. "We're a little early, but I think it's better for you to go to the Ministry of Magic early than to hang around like an ant on a hot pot."

"Okay," Harry replied automatically, putting down the toast and standing up.

"You're going to be okay, Harry," Tonks said, pressing Harry's shoulders like a good friend.

"Good luck to you," said Lupine. "I'm sure you'll be fine."

"If things don't go as expected," Sirius said through gritted teeth, "I will pay a visit to Emira Bones and Scrimgeour for you. The Auror Department should..."

"Forget it, don't say it's useless, Sirius." Fan Lin shook his head, "Listen, Harry, this is something that shouldn't be taken to heart at all. In fact, they summoned Wizenga for you. It is already against the law for Moroccan members to come to conduct hearings..."

"And..." Hermione continued, "According to the law, you are also legal."

Harry smiled weakly.

Mrs. Weasley gave him a hug. "We will all be praying for you," she said

"Okay," Harry said, "Well... then goodbye." (To be continued)
