Chapter 80 Memory

The world in memory is far less colorful than in real life. At least, the world in front of Fan Lin is like an early black and white movie.

Fan Lin looked around at the scene in front of him. This scene felt very familiar to him.

"This is... the Nine Immortals Academy?" Fan Lin shouted in surprise, and Dumbledore was standing next to him at the moment.

"Yes, these are some interesting memories from my early years." Dumbledore raised his head and forgot about the sky. The sun had already crossed the middle of the sky, and it seemed that it was already afternoon.

"Is this your memory of going to the Nine Immortals Academy? Grandma once told me that you came here to... challenge?" Fan Lin looked at Dumbledore beside him.

"That's right, I challenged your grandfather." Dumbledore said nonchalantly: "And it is true that I lost. Your grandmother did not lie to you."

Fan Lin nodded dully. In his opinion, it was very incredible that Dumbledore lost to others in magic.

"Oh, it's about to begin." Dumbledore said with interest.

Fan Lin quickly turned around and looked at the open space in front of him. He saw an old man similar to his grandmother standing at the door of the main hall.

Suddenly, a figure passed through Fan Lin's body. It was a man wearing a wizard's robe, with a tall pointed hat strapped diagonally on his head.

"Dear Mr. Nangong, please allow me to challenge you to a duel. Enter Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore." With that, Dumbledore took out his own Magic wand, bowed deeply to Fanlin's grandfather.

"Albus, I think you don't have to go to such trouble." Although Fan Lin's grandfather was very uncomfortable, he still responded to Dumbledore.

"This is wizard etiquette, I must abide by it." Dumbledore took two steps back, his expression serious.

"Okay, you can start."

"Yes, sir." Dumbledore raised the wand, turned his wrist slightly, and a thick beam of light spun towards Fan Lin's grandfather.

"This is a coma spell." Dumbledore explained patiently on the sidelines, because at their level, these ordinary attack spells were basically silent spells. But the picture in front of them has no color, which makes it impossible for uninformed people to judge.

Fan Lin has never seen such a powerful coma spell. Fan Lin's grandfather stretched out his hand, and a magic array composed of countless spells was released from his fingertips.

This caused Dumbledore's curse to bounce to the ground.

Accompanied by a loud rumbling sound, the originally flat ground was struck by the stun spell, creating a large crater with a diameter of about one meter.

"Abusi, stop using those boring things. Do you still need to test me, an old man?" Grandfather Fan Lin raised his eyebrows.

Immediately afterwards, Fanlin saw a huge curse seal light up from behind his grandfather.

Seeing that he was so awake, Dumbledore quickly used Apparition to move to the tunnel about six meters away from his original position.

Of course, moving so far was certainly not unreasonable. A thick thorn rose from Dumbledore's original position.

Only then did Dumbledore's Apparition barely escape the range of the attack.

"What about this one?" Dumbledore waved his wand, and the thorn rose into the air and rushed towards Fan Lin's grandfather at an extremely fast speed.

However, my grandfather did not hide, he just stretched out his hand and lightly blocked it in front of him.

The flying thorns melted in front of Grandfather Fan Lin like liquid. It's like a huge brown water ball, constantly flowing in the air.

"Are you kidding, Albus?" As he said this, a rune seal more than two meters high appeared behind Fan Lin's grandfather.

The melted thorns condensed into a thick arm and struck Dumbledore hard.

"Bombarda Maima (powerful explosion)!" There was a loud bang, and billowing smoke exploded in front of Dumbledore. This made Fanlin unable to see the next scene clearly.

When the dust was flying, a powerful voice came out of the dust. It was a mantra that Fanlin had never heard before.

"Houseon Fire!" Fire burst out from the dust, and soon, the fire replaced everything on the field.

In the fire, Fanlin saw Dumbledore standing not far from the spot. It seemed that Dumbledore had not completely avoided his grandfather's attack.

His tall pointed hat had already flown to nowhere, and the wizard's robe looked very tattered.

"Not bad, Albus, a very powerful spell." Grandfather looked solemnly at the fire filling the space.

The temperature of the flame was so high that the land began to crystallize.

"This flame is more than that, sir." Dumbledore looked very confident.

"So, how about this." Dumbledore raised his wand, and black tongues of fire continued to pour out from the front of the wand.

"Armageddon!"

A long cry rang out from the flames, and the flames that were originally white in Fan Lin's eyes also turned into jet black.

The scope of the flames continued to shrink, and suddenly a jet-black phoenix flew out of the flames, with huge pillars of fire constantly hovering around the phoenix.

"Interesting." Fan Lin's grandfather said this, but the huge rune array that lit up behind him did not mean to relax at all.

The ground began to vibrate strongly, and crystallized stone walls appeared one after another in the path that the Phoenix was about to fly over.

There was another clear and long cry, and the phoenix, carrying jet-black flames, headed straight for Fan Lin's grandfather with an indomitable momentum.

Flames mixed with stones shot out in all directions, just like a doomsday disaster scene, and the originally intact buildings around them became a mess.

Rubbles were scattered all over the ground. Dumbledore was knocked away by the powerful impact of the explosion, and the wand in his hand fell to nowhere.

"You're fine." Fan Lin's grandfather walked out of a crystallized fortress. Fan Lin saw countless runes flashing on the fortress that his grandfather used to resist.

I have to admit that the defense of earth warlocks is really very powerful.

"As you can see, I can't break through your grandfather's defense. If your grandfather wanted to kill me, he would have done it long ago." Dumbledore said nonchalantly.

"But, I haven't seen my grandfather have any strong attack power." Fan Lin shook his head.

"Look behind me, in the sky."

Looking in the direction of Dumbledore's finger, Fanlin finally understood why Dumbledore would admit defeat. Far away in the horizon, one huge stone after another was hovering in the sky. Fanlin could not imagine that in such a situation. Rocks washed down from high places can cause great damage.

But obviously, Dumbledore on the court didn't realize it. Perhaps Dumbledore only discovered this when he looked back later. (To be continued)
