Warhammer: In the Name of the Emperor

Chapter 425 Legion Era: Chapter Master

After the automatic door slammed open, Cole strode in. He walked on the wide dock deck. Wherever he went, the ground staff and dock police on both sides would immediately stand at attention and salute him. Everyone stared at the shining gold star on his shoulder. The four stars formed the rank of admiral.

Cole strode across the deck with his head held high, followed by several attendants with pistols on their waists. They also served as guards and blocked the bullets for the admiral when necessary, but it was obviously unnecessary here today.

Cole raised his hand to signal the attendants behind him to stop. After everyone nodded, Cole continued to walk up without stopping. He passed between several tall Ultramarines standing in front of the deck. The members of the Honor Guard wearing gorgeous robes and winged helmets made way for him.

The burly giants moved aside, and Cole walked between the blue-armored giants inlaid with gems. He soon passed the emptied dock and came to Guilliman. Cole saluted the Primarch of the Thirteenth Legion, who also nodded politely in response.

Cole also nodded to Sicarius standing next to Guilliman after noticing him. The proud Sicarius also raised his head proudly and gestured to Cole with a very small amplitude. His helmet was tucked under his right armpit, and his left hand was holding the power sword inlaid with gems that he was about to use.

"You arrived first, sir."

"I happened to be nearby, so I arrived first. On the contrary, you are very punctual, Admiral." "I think this is a good habit of the Imperial Navy, sir." "Indeed, it is a good habit. Now come and wait with me. I hope he won't be late."

Kore quickly stood beside Guilliman. He and the Primarch watched the Emperor's Dream sliding in from the entrance of the dock. The huge ship drove in from the towering dock gate. The magnificent ship could not even be completely installed. Most of the thrusters were exposed outside the dock.

The fixed landing gears around it quickly stretched up from all directions and quickly locked the docking anchor point of the warship. With a short but unusually loud exhaust, injection and docking process, the giant ship finally stopped, and as the warship stopped steadily, the landing deck on the side was also lowered.

The deck, as tall as the ship, fell down with a thud, and with a dull sound of impact with the ground, the huge board landed on the ground of the dock, and two people walked down from it, a figure wearing tall golden armor took the lead and stepped onto the surface of the dock.

"Big Blueberry." "In public, I still hope you call me by my name and title." "Let me think, the great Regent of the Empire Robert Guilliman? Did you miss something? I've been away for two years, and your title has been added to Mars."

Vito laughed and walked up, and Guilliman also smiled and greeted him instantly. The two met in the center and held hands with each other, "You don't know how many troubles have tortured me in the past two years you have been away." "Then my happy mood is better now, because those troubles didn't bother me."

The two gods laughed loudly, and their hearty laughter echoed in the hall. Guilliman looked at Vito in front of him and patted his shoulder. The Primarch smiled and was full of joy.

But when Guilliman stared at the armor on Vito and the Sky Eagle symbol of the Emperor himself on it, he fell silent. Vito noticed Guilliman's reaction, and he quickly covered it up, replacing the fleeting gloomy expression with a smile.

"Glad to see you again, my friend, welcome back."

"What took you so long? Two years? I thought you could come back in two days." Sicarius said as he walked over. Vito looked at him and smiled bitterly, "It's a pity that you are still alive after two years, Sicarius, I am very sad to see you."

Everyone could sense the smile in Vito's words, and Sicarius also walked up proudly. He put his hand on the hilt of the sword and came in front of him, "The person who can kill me has not been born yet, and will not be born in the next two thousand years."

"Your arrogance is as always, very good, at least it means that the Empire is still alive and well for the time being." Vito turned around and gestured to the back Guilliman also followed his gesture to see the newcomer, "I have found some old friends in the past two years."

"Lord Guilliman." Reina stepped forward and bowed to Guilliman with her hands behind her back. The latter greeted her with a joyful expression, "Renata, I really don't know what to say. Today is undoubtedly a pleasant day. I don't even know how to express my joy to meet so many old friends in this era."

"Me too, sir, it's nice to see you and everyone else." Reina greeted Sicarius and Cole who came behind her, and Vito stood proudly beside her and introduced the people in front of her, starting with Cole.

"This is Captain Cole Markarian, one of the best captains of this era, or can I remove one of them?" "It's best to keep it. I'm not as arrogant as Sicarius." Cole walked up and saluted Renata, and then it turned into a more friendly handshake, "Captain Renata, it's an honor to meet you. I have read your war history and warship history. It's an honor to meet such an excellent captain like you." "Me too, Captain Cole. Vito mentioned a lot about you to me. It's an honor to meet you." The two captains shook hands, and Cole glanced at Vito, "I hope he said good things." "Mostly."

Vito said this to himself and then gestured to Sicarius, but before Vito could say anything, Sicarius began to introduce himself, you know, the typical Sicarius introduction.

"I! Cato Sicarius, Lord of Talsil, Master of the Watch of Macragge, Chief Knight of Macragge, Chapter Champion Swordsman, Grand Duke of Sar, Captain of the Second Company of the Ultramarines, and the personal guard of Lord Guilliman!"

"Well, that's it, anyway, he's an idiot." Vito pointed at Sicarius and said, the latter immediately put one hand on his waist, stood there proudly and raised his head to Reina, looking so arrogant.

"Where are the others? Robo, where is the space husky and the orange cat?" "I'm curious, if Leman and Lion knew that you described their legion like this, how would they react." Guilliman said, turning to the side and raising his head, Vito immediately noticed the gray-armored Space Marines who pushed Guilliman's Honor Guard away from the back of the dock.

"Vito! Where have you been?"

"I'm so conspicuous, can't you see it?" Vito smiled and raised his arms to greet him. The latter laughed and strode forward to lift Vito up into a bear hug. He held Vito high up, "Ahaha! It looks like your arms and legs are still there, and they've grown bigger! Just like us!"

"Nice to meet you, Ragnar, put me down now, you're going to scratch the armor the Emperor gave me." Vito smiled bitterly and patted Ragnar's back. The latter laughed again with the hearty laughter of a Fenris man and put him down.

"You have such bad taste, all shiny gold, if you go to the battlefield like this, you will tell everyone around you, hey! Everyone attack me! I am the brightest and most dazzling!"

"Watch your words, Ragnar, this is the armor of the Emperor himself." Bell also came out from Ragnar's side, wearing this blue power armor, a red cloak behind him, a jewel-studded belt around his waist, and a beautifully crafted power sword on the side.

"Besides, don't the Fists of the Empire also wear gold armor? Or should it be called yellow armor? I have never been able to tell the difference between the two." On the other side, Lancelot, wearing a robe and a winged helmet under his armpit, also came forward, pressing the sword on his waist.

"That group of guys are either digging holes or squatting in them. The endless discipline, regulations, and tactical orders every day are as boring as Bell." Ragnar said, pushing Bell beside him. The latter certainly noticed the joke in Ragnar's words, so he was not angry at all. He patted his cloak behind him.

"I am just following the advice of the Bible. I also suggest that your regiment do the same, Ragnar, it will be very helpful." "Blah blah! I don't want to listen, Ultramarines chanting scriptures, how can you be like a sissy of the state religion."

"Don't always do everything according to the Bible, Bell, that's so boring, right, original author." Ragnar grinned at Guilliman, without any respect for the Primarch, but Guilliman didn't mind. He shrugged, "That's just a suggestion. If you think it's unreasonable after reference, of course you can disobey it, but the premise is that it's unreasonable."

Guilliman pointed at Ragnar and smiled He put his hand on his waist, without any sense of the huge level gap between the Primarch and his subordinates. "Bell is right. The Codex can indeed help in many ways, especially considering the chaos in your regiment's organization. I suggest you refer to it. Ragnar, you need to manage your regiment well."

"Stop, everyone. Chapter? Chapter leader? Him?" Vito looked at Guilliman in surprise, pointing to Ragnar. He only noticed that Ragnar had become much taller, and the armor he wore was different from before. He wore a wolfskin on his shoulders that belonged only to Captain Daren of the Space Wolves.

And not only him, but Bell and Lancelot also wore clothes that were different from ordinary Space Marines. Bell wore a scarlet robe on his shoulders that only the captain of the Ultramarines was qualified to wear. On it, a mark was outlined with gorgeous golden silk threads. It was a sword pierced from below the Ultramarines Chapter logo, and an olive wreath was hung on the hilt.

Lancelot was also wearing the white robe of the Dark Angels' High Knight. The wings of his winged helmet under his armpits were obviously longer than before. In the center of the white robe, where the Dark Angels' emblem should have been drawn, there was now a winged sword.

Ragnar was the same. On his shoulder, where the emblem of the chapter was branded, there was a roaring dire wolf with fire burning in its blood-red eyes.

Ragnar looked at Lancelot and Bell beside him. The latter shrugged and signaled Ragnar to come. The wild wolf cleared his throat and looked at Vito with his hands on his hips.

"Let me tell you something. The three of us now have a chapter."
