Today's paragraph is to help you know and better understand the past stories of the characters. After all, it is not easy to explain everything in detail in the book. In order to facilitate everyone to understand their personalities and stories in a more three-dimensional way, I tried to open such a form. I hope everyone likes it. Today is also the first issue of this series.

"Records of the Imperial Inquisition Investigation"

Subordinate unit: Inquisition Inquisition

Reporter: Inquisitor Owen Phelps

Praise the Emperor and pay tribute to all the adults.

As you know, my lord, I was ordered to investigate the mysterious Grand Inquisitor Vito Constantine, who was suspected of heresy, treason and many violations of imperial laws, as well as many suspicious things, which made people have to doubt him.

Due to the protection of Lord Inquisitor Hegart and the sealing of his information, the investigation progressed very smoothly, but I tried to get some side information from other angles, and respectfully sent it to all the adults for review.

I tried to investigate the people around Inquisitor Vito Constantine. Our colleague has many companions. Today I will submit the results of the investigation on the Space Marine Ragnar Rasbrok Russ.

Ragnar Rasbrok Russ comes from Fenris and belongs to the Space Wolves. According to the custom of the Empire, it can generally be abbreviated as Ragnar Russ. I believe that all the learned adults have noticed that, yes, Ragnar Russ and the Primarch of the Space Wolves, Leman Russ, have the same surname.

My lords, according to the results of my investigation after going to Fenris, I found that Russ is actually a clan. Everyone in this clan is named Russ, and Leman Russ is a member of this clan and the most famous member.

After I visited the Russ clan, an equally exclusive clan in the exclusive place of Fenris, I believe that when Ragnar was young, he had heard the legend of this emperor's son in the clan many times.

In fact, the story of Leman Russ on Fenris is well known, and there are many wonderful but unfounded stories. I will not waste your precious time again. If you are interested, I will present it separately.

My entourage and I investigated Ragnar's past. The young Ragnar is the son of a hunter in the clan. His father raised him in the local barbaric tradition of Fenris.

The local education seriously lacks piety to the Emperor. The Imperial doctrine is implemented by law. There is a serious possibility of heresy in its local culture. The Inquisition should closely monitor its loyalty.

According to the investigation, Ragnar showed "rebelliousness", "disobedience" and "questioning" of authority in his childhood, which makes me suspicious.

As for the time point when Ragnar joined the Space Wolves, we did not have a clear answer after some investigation, but according to my historian's speculation, it was roughly between 800-900K of the Imperial calendar M39.

The Space Wolves refused my investigation. They explicitly refused and even humiliated me as a representative of the Inquisition. It is questionable why they have great respect for Inquisitor Vitor, which deserves more investigation.

Although the Space Wolves hindered my work, I still used some "special" methods to get some information, which was enough to help me piece together Ragnar's information. I will report them one by one according to the time below.

Ragnar was discovered by the Wolf Priest at the age of 12 and taken to the Wolf Fang Castle for the "Mokai Trial". I believe that the Chapter Priest will let the recruit candidates drink a liquid called "Werewolf Blood". All my investigations on this potion have failed. I am sure that the Wild Wolves are hiding something. I submitted this information to the Inquisition and hope that the adults will arrange a new investigation to find out the truth.

In addition to the unknown name of the werewolf blood, I learned that the Wolf Corps recruits need to cross the dangerous ice field of Fenris alone, fight against various dangerous beasts, and find the way back to the Wolf Fang Castle. If they return to the Wolf Fang Castle, they will be recognized and then implanted with gene seeds to join the Chapter and officially become recruits.

According to the scrolls of the Wolf Priest, Ragnar not only completed the Morkai Trial, but also persuaded and united many new recruits who set out together to act together. It is hard to imagine how he persuaded them.

In the end, Ragnar led a whole team back to the Wolf Fang Castle, and defeated a "werewolf" beast on the way. They refused to disclose any information. I have not found any Fenris documents. I doubt that they are hiding any secrets.

In short, Ragnar left a deep impression on Wolf Lord Logan. In the following days, Ragnar completed the warband training and showed excellent psychic power and oratory. He is very good at boosting morale and can maintain the morale of the troops in the most difficult battles.

It has the same characteristics as many heretics, which is inflammatory and questionable.

Ragnar's talent was valued. The Brotherhood of Warband Priests seemed to want to develop him and make Ragnar an outstanding priest, but in the end Ragnar did not become a priest, but joined the Crimson Roar Company, and made outstanding contributions. His fighting style was very unusual and he did not abide by the combat regulations at all.

However, due to his outstanding achievements, he continued to rise in the following years of combat and became the youngest combat leader in Dalian's history, a position roughly equivalent to that of a lieutenant platoon leader in other regiments.

According to the records of the Military Affairs Department, Ragnar participated in many battles of the Space Wolves, and was away from Fenris for many years to fight in the galaxy. Among them was the famous First Battle of Armageddon, or the "Shame Moon" incident as the Wolves called it.

In that conflict, the stubborn Wolves caused us a lot of losses, especially to the Grey Knights. It is reported that Ragnar also participated in the Shame Moon and the subsequent Siege of Fenris, and followed the Wolf Lord to carry out the final springboard operation, causing serious losses to the Inquisition!

According to the records of the officers of the regiment, Ragnar was very popular among the young warriors in the regiment. He had no respect for authority, especially for the laws of the Empire. He had a direct and suspicious attitude.

Ragnar had clashed with his superiors many times. Although this was common in this undisciplined regiment, Ragnar seemed to be particularly serious. The content of his conflict was kept silent by the Wolves, and they refused to reveal the truth to the Emperor's Inquisitor, which was very suspicious.

This led to Ragnar's slow promotion during his two hundred years of service in the warband, despite his outstanding military achievements and high respect.

It is said that some officers of the warband had jointly impeached Ragnar, asking the Wolf Lord and the Wolf Leader to remove him from his position and punish him, but they were all suppressed by the Wolf Leader Logan himself. Ragnar was then sent to the Death Watch Warband to serve as a specialist in aliens.

I did look up Ragnar's several encounters with aliens, mainly greenskins and Tyranid aliens, but I don't believe that Ragnar Russ was "exiled" because he was "keen to kill aliens". I believe that the Wolf Leader Logan transferred him away to protect him.

After joining the Death Watch, Ragnar directly joined the Inquisitor Vito. I can't be sure whether it was the Wolf Leader Logan who contacted Vito, but I doubt it.

Since then, Ragnar's information has been handed over to the Death Watch. According to the investigation, all his information has been outdated for a long time. Vito Constantine has not contacted the Inquisition Headquarters for a long time to submit mission information, navigation data and travel information. Ragnar's relevant information has been interrupted.

In summary, Ragnar is a young, passionate but extremely rebellious and unique Space Marine, and his behavior is very suspicious! Just like Vito Constantine!

In the name of the Emperor, I will continue to investigate the truth about Vito Constantine and the people around him. If he is a heretic, I will report the results of the investigation truthfully. Please be clear.

In the service of the Emperor and the Empire, this report ends.
