Chapter 305 The Scenery on the Top of the Mountain

Whether it is evidence on the surface or hidden evidence, they all point to Remus Lupine, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

Despite the support of so much evidence, Ada still couldn't believe it, or rather she didn't want to believe it, that this conscientious professor was actually a werewolf!

This is Ada's fifth year at Hogwarts. Five years. Do you know how Ada has spent these five years?

There are four Defense Against the Dark Arts professors in a row, each with various problems, which has made the students' Defense Against the Dark Arts stagnant, making this course seem unnecessary.

After finally getting a capable and normal-looking professor, you tell Ada that this person will turn into a furry cutie when the moon is full.

This news was so shocking that Ada needed time to digest it.

With this thought in mind, Ada lay weakly on the soft and comfortable bed, listening to the cold wind whistling outside the window, unable to fall asleep for a long time.

The wind outside the window was blowing so hard that it shattered all of Ada's dreams. She was awakened by the "woo-woo" sound of the wind again and again. She thinks about things every day and dreams at night. Ada's last dream was related to what happened in the past few days.

In her dream, Ada saw a huge canine howling at a full moon, seemingly calling her companions.

The dream was not clear, on the contrary, it was very vague. Ada could not even tell whether the animal was a ferocious wolf, a werewolf that had changed its form, or simply a dog.

That night, Ada slept very restlessly, and she was woken up by her roommate early the next morning.

There are only four people living in the five-person dormitory, fifth graders Ada, Angelina Johnson, Alia Spinnett, and fourth grader Katie Bell.

The four of them are all members of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. The difference is that Ada is only a substitute, and the other three are main starters.

There was a loud wind outside the window, and Ada was not the only one who didn't sleep well. Little Katie was the first to wake up from her sleep. She sat on her bed and sighed. She really didn't want to fly high in the sky in such weather, as it would make people freeze.

It was already bright, but the dark clouds that formed into a large area blocked the light of the sunrise. The distant sky and the ground are connected at one point, which makes people feel depressed. They can't help but want to shout loudly to vent this depression.

Angelina and Aaliyah also woke up one after another. Their movements were very synchronized. They both sat on the bed in a daze, then muttered while changing their clothes.

Those who are close to vermilion are red, those who are close to ink are black. The two of them had long been infected by Ada. Their complaints were all about why the school couldn't postpone the game and Slytherin's despicable behavior. Occasionally, they would also say a "beautiful" French sentence.

Who wants to fly dozens of feet in the air in such bad weather if they can? Except Aeroflot...

Ada was awakened by these complaints. She struggled to get up, put on a dressing gown and stood in front of the dormitory window.

The cold wind howled, and even though Hogwarts had woken up and plunged into a new day of life, the sound of branches snapping in the distant Forbidden Forest still reached the castle.

Thunder was rolling in the sky, and strong winds were hitting the castle unbridled, all of which indicated that today would be an unusual game.

Quidditch is particularly popular, and even such bad weather could not stop the enthusiasm of teachers and students in the school for the game. After breakfast, everyone ran along the lawn toward the stadium despite the fierce wind.

The stands were packed, and almost all students from the school were here. Ada stood next to Ron and Hermione, looking across the stands one by one. Among the professors, only the homely Professor Bathshedda Babbling and the sick Lupin did not appear.

After a while, before everyone could wait for the game to start, a heavy rain came unexpectedly. The storm carried the raindrops and fell, connecting the sky and the earth.

The rain was getting heavier and heavier, and the word "pouring rain" seemed a bit stingy. Ada felt that "basin" should be used to describe it more appropriately.

Amidst the thunder, the Quidditch match began. Gryffindor wears the traditional red robes, while Hufflepuff wears light yellow robes. In this rain curtain, the figures of the fourteen players became very blurry, and Ada had to squint her eyes to barely see the situation on the field clearly.

The wind continued to blow, blowing the team members flying in the air to and fro, unable to control their broomsticks; the rain continued to fall, and in just five minutes, all the team members were drenched.

Not to mention the audience in the stands, even the players playing on the field had no idea how the game was going. Heavy rain obscured their sight, and wind and thunder made it impossible for them to communicate effectively.

There were several times when the players almost collided with each other, but the game was still not stopped.

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning pierced the sky, illuminating everything in sight, and then a thunder exploded in people's ears.

Something suddenly became strange on the court, and an eerie silence passed over the entire stadium. Although the wind was still as strong as ever, it forgot to roar, as if someone had suddenly pressed the mute button.

The biting chill invaded everyone's body, and the lively stadium fell silent for an instant, with only the wind and thunder continuing to roar.

It's a dementor! The dementors broke the rules and not only broke into the school, but also ran into the crowded stadium.

The strong emotions exuded by the cheering crowd attracted the dementors. For them, this is not a competition ground, but a delicious feast!

Ada pulled out her wand, and the tip of the wand lit up with silver light. But someone moved faster than her, and the endless silver curtain wall enveloped the stands, driving away all the dementors trying to eat.

It's Dumbledore! Ada had never seen Dumbledore so angry! The silver curtain wall is soul-eating and life-threatening to the dementors, but it is warm and soft to the students.

The light curtain not only protected the students in the stands, but also actively attacked the dementors. Many Dementors who had no time to escape were torn to pieces by this light curtain.

The strong wind ruffled Dumbledore's silver-white hair and beard, and even made his robes rustle. Dumbledore, holding the elder wand high, looked like a god, and it seemed as if there was only one color left in the world.

The dementors abandoned their companions and fled the stadium, but their impact on the stadium did not end when they left. Suddenly a small red dot appeared in the rain curtain, and this red dot gradually enlarged in people's eyes.

Dumbledore stretched out his free hand and pointed at the growing red dot in the sky. This wandless spell slowed down the rapidly falling red dot, and the students finally saw that the red dot was actually Harry Potter who had fallen off his broomstick.

The Gryffindor students immediately rushed off the stands and fell from a height of dozens of feet. Everyone was worried about Harry.

Fortunately, Harry was okay, his abdomen was still rising and falling with his breathing, he just fainted. Harry wasn't reduced to a pulp, his bones weren't broken, and his glasses weren't even broken.

What happened on the court today, if it were anyone else, no one could do it as perfectly as Dumbledore. It can not only protect the students in the stands, but also protect Harry who falls from high altitude.

It has to be said that Dumbledore's magical attainments are truly admirable.

The moment she saw Dumbledore cast the spell, Ada seemed to understand something, and she caught a fleeting glimmer of understanding.

At this moment, Ada finally understood what Grindelwald was talking about on the top of the mountain, and she realized that the scenery on the top of the mountain was so beautiful.

There's something going on today, so the next chapter may be very late.
