Chapter 332 Sirius Black
The loud noise coming from the direction of the boys' dormitory and the commotion in the common room interrupted Ada and Hermione's conversation, and Ada realized that something might have happened there.
Pulling out her wand and wearing a dressing gown, Ada immediately rushed out of the dormitory. There was some light from the unburnt fire in the common room, and party items were scattered everywhere.
A strange, lanky man appeared at the entrance of the lounge, holding a sharp knife in his hand, and the portrait at the entrance was slowly opening.
Without any hesitation, Ada directly threw out a stun spell, and the red light of the spell rushed straight towards the lanky man at the entrance. The man seemed to have eyes in the back of his head, turning his body sideways to let go of the stun spell.
Ada ran quickly across the lounge, and without stopping, she cast several spells at the man. But the portrait at the entrance had been opened, making the entrance instantly spacious, and the man had enough space to avoid these spells.
However, Gryffindor's majesty as the leader cannot be violated, and one of the spells still hit the man's shoulder, and his shoulder was instantly stained red with blood.
The bloody injury on his shoulder seemed to irritate the man. He turned around and threw the bright sharp knife in his hand directly at Ada, then covered his shoulder and left the Gryffindor common room without looking back.
"Stop! Black!" Ada shouted.
When the man turned around, Ada had already seen his face clearly and recognized who he was. Ada remembered the demonic roar and smile on the wanted poster the first time she saw it.
The sharp, gleaming blade rushed straight towards Ada, and Ada waved her wand to change the flight path of the sharp knife, causing it to fly back in the opposite direction. But it was too late, Blake had already got out, the portrait closed again, the sharp blade hit the wall behind the portrait, and bounced off the hard wall.
Unable to care so much, Ada activated the flash and passed directly through the portrait, without waiting for the portrait to slowly open again.
But Ada was still a step late. There was not a single figure in the open space in front of the portrait, only Sir Cadogan's question: "You...how did you appear all of a sudden?"
"Shut up!" Ada yelled angrily, "I will settle the score with you when I come back! You are as hopeless as your story!"
Fortunately, Ada had just wounded Blake, leaving traces of Blake's blood on the ground.
Ada followed the bloodstain all the way out of the castle. The moon illuminated the entire playground very brightly, and the bloodstains on the ground were easy to identify. But Ada found that the blood stains on the ground were getting wider and wider. It seemed that Blake had simply treated his injuries while escaping.
Following the blood stains that were increasingly spaced apart, Ada searched all the way. The blood stains did not lead to the Whomping Willow or the Twilight Cabin as she expected, but led all the way to the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
The Forbidden Forest was pitch black late at night, as if it had the power to swallow everything. The branches of the trees looked like demons with teeth and claws. Ada raised the yew wand to her chest and was on guard, carefully distinguishing the sounds that came into her ears, ready to take action at any time.
In the past, when the twins were by her side, Ada had never felt that the Forbidden Forest at night was so scary. Now that she was alone in the Forbidden Forest, she had to be more cautious.
Ada groped forward while adjusting her breathing that had become rapid due to running wildly, but she didn't find anything.
The blood stains could no longer be seen clearly at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. Now, deep into the Forbidden Forest, it was impossible to tell whether there were still blood stains on the ground. Ada had to stop and rethink her strategy.
Suddenly, a rustling voice came over, and he turned around and cast a spell directly!
A dazzling white light flashed, but no one fell to the ground. A voice sounded in the Forbidden Forest. This voice was all too familiar to Ada. It was the voice of Principal Dumbledore.
"Every time I see this spell of yours, I am amazed at your talent." Dumbledore slowly walked over holding his wand, and the faint light from the tip of the wand illuminated the path under his feet, "But you tonight His behavior was too reckless, he was a fugitive from Azkaban, he was extremely vicious."
Seeing that it was Dumbledore, Ada breathed a sigh of relief. She complained dissatisfiedly: "It's scary, scary to death. Does the principal know how scared I was just now!"
"Oh, does Ada, who is not afraid of the sky or the earth, feel scared?" Dumbledore asked curiously, "I thought you were not afraid of anything except the ward!"
The reason why people are afraid of the dark is because of the unknown, because you don't know what kind of horror is hidden in the dark.
Ada is not afraid of the darkness of the Forbidden Forest, but the danger hidden in the darkness keeps her tense. Her brain must analyze and process any disturbance immediately. This is a very tiring task. .
"Almost, almost, I caught Black. I even hurt him!" Ada was very dissatisfied with her performance. If she had been more decisive and struck harder, she might have been able to catch him. .
"You've done a great job, even better than Auror." Dumbledore comforted absentmindedly, but this comfort sounded like a curse to Ada.
"Go back, Miss Granger is very worried about you. The way you chased her out frightened her." Dumbledore continued, "If Black really escapes into the Forbidden Forest, we want to catch him today." It’s difficult for him.”
Ada also admitted that the Forbidden Forest was so big that neither Dumbledore nor Hagrid could tell what was in it.
It is not realistic to conduct a blanket search of the Forbidden Forest. The creatures in the Forbidden Forest do not care whether Blake is a fugitive or not. They will treat the search as an invasion of the Forbidden Forest.
Dumbledore and Ada left the Forbidden Forest, and Black broke into Hogwarts again, successfully escaping capture again.
Ada, who had relaxed her mind, finally felt cold. She only wore a cloak over her dressing gown when chatting with Hermione. By now, the cloak had already been beaten through by the cold night wind.
Ada raised her head and looked at Dumbledore. The principal also saw through her mind and said, "You don't want an old man who is more than a hundred years old to give you his clothes, do you? Besides, aren't you a witch?"
If you don’t give it, you won’t give it. Why don’t you say that you have these things but don’t have them? mean!
Ada cast a cold spell on herself while complaining in her mind that Dumbledore was stingy. Magic can indeed resist the cold and keep warm, but Ada still prefers to wear thicker clothes, which will make her feel warmer psychologically.
Fortunately, Ada met Hagrid at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. The hybrid giant put his moleskin coat on Ada.
Ada, who was tightly wrapped by Hagrid, although her body was much bulkier, her eyes were still agile. She looked sideways at Dumbledore, her emerald green eyes seemed to be able to speak, but her silent condemnation was once again ignored by Dumbledore.
The team heading towards the castle expanded from two to three people. In Gryffindor Tower, in front of Sir Cadogan's portrait, the three saw an angry Professor McGonagall. She was annoyed by Sir Cadogan.
"Sir Cadogan, did you just let a man into Gryffindor Tower?"
"Of course, my lady!" cried Sir Cadogan.
There was a stunned silence inside and outside the common room, and Dumbledore also fell into silence. His lowered eyelids made it impossible to guess what he was thinking.
"You...you did this?" Professor McGonagall said, "But...but what about the password?"
"He has a password!" said Sir Cadogan proudly. "A week's worth of passwords, my lady! Read from a little piece of paper!"
Everyone inside and outside the common room looked at Neville Longbottom. The password was written on the piece of paper. Only Neville with a bad memory could do this kind of thing.
Professor McGonagall was going crazy. First, Cadogan let Black go, causing Black to almost murder a student. The password to enter the lounge was accidentally "revealed" to Black by the student.
This is simply the worst Gryffindor that Professor McGonagall has ever led.
"Who is it?" Professor McGonagall asked weakly. She felt that she should ask Madam Pomfrey to show her later.
Neville Longbottom slowly raised his hand, his head trembling from head to toe in his plush slippers.
