Chapter 31 Magic Is Andy's Dream
After hearing the explosion, Andy was no longer as surprised as he was in the last class.
He turned his head calmly and saw Seamus holding a wand in his hand. He was stunned and there was still black smoke from the explosion on the table in front of him.
Seamus, you are really a talent!
Andy is not being sarcastic. From an academic point of view, Seamus's situation is indeed very special.
The reason why Seamus's magic power is not stable enough, or he is too impatient when casting.
Of course, he may just like explosions, which affects his magic power.
Any of these three situations is worth studying.
It's a pity that Andy and Seamus are not even nodding acquaintances, so it's not good to rashly ask Seamus about his mental state.
Andy glanced at Professor McGonagall.
Professor McGonagall severely reprimanded Seamus for a few words, and then replaced a match for Seamus.
Andy thought to himself, "It seems that in Professor McGonagall's eyes, Seamus's situation is not special."
Professor McGonagall has been teaching for decades and can be considered knowledgeable. Since she didn't care about Seamus, does that mean that Seamus's situation is actually very normal in the wizarding world?
Andy retracted his gaze and suppressed the idea of slicing Seamus.
After all, Azkaban is not a formal academy.
Until the end of get out of class, Andy had been secretly paying attention to Seamus's situation.
Since the explosion occurred during the spell and he was scolded by Professor McGonagall, Seamus has become much more depressed.
He seemed a little afraid to cast spells. Only when Professor McGonagall's eyes turned to him would he hold his wand and pretend to make a few gestures.
Not only that, in this class, Andy also noticed two interesting phenomena-Ron and Neville.
Their wands were both old wands used by others.
Although it is difficult to observe too much information in a class, Andy still keenly discovered that Ron and Neville's spells were not smooth.
Especially Neville, he looks only slightly better than a Squib.
They were not confident enough, and this phenomenon of unsmooth spellcasting would even aggravate this lack of confidence.
Andy could even see through their future at a glance!
Under this vicious cycle, the two of them would definitely be at the bottom of the magic world when they grow up.
However, this is not the case.
Although Andy has only seen the first movie of "Harry Potter", he has heard of the names of Neville and Ron more or less.
They are important supporting characters in "Harry Potter", and their future will never be too mediocre.
"But why is this?" Andy analyzed secretly.
And Andy also didn't understand why the Sorting Hat put Neville in Gryffindor.
Ron has proved himself in the chess level of the movie. He has the courage to sacrifice himself for justice.
So what about Neville?
Andy frowned.
If the Sorting Hat never made a mistake, then it would be possible that it put Neville in Gryffindor because it hoped that Gryffindor's courage could influence Neville and help him regain his confidence?
The more Andy studied magic, the more he found that many factors could affect the success rate of spellcasting, and a good mentality was the most important one.
More and more examples can prove that Andy's current research direction is correct.
Mind and magic have always been inseparable!
At 3:20, the Transfiguration class was over.
Andy and Hermione walked towards the abandoned classroom on the sixth floor.
Andy looked at Hermione beside him with some doubts. She seemed a little unhappy.
"What's wrong?" Andy asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Nothing."
Hermione said, "I just feel that I am too far behind."
In the Transfiguration class, although she made some changes to the matches and her progress was far beyond that of other little wizards, she still felt dissatisfied.
Andy laughed and said, "Before going to school, I practiced magic at home for more than a month. Your talent is far beyond that of other little wizards."
However, such words could not comfort Hermione at all.
When Hermione felt that she was "far behind", Andy finally saw what madness was.
For three consecutive days, Hermione either practiced magic in an abandoned classroom or went to the library to read. After the library closed, she studied in the common room of Ravenclaw until late at night.
She almost gave up all her entertainment time, which was even crazier than Andy's senior year in high school in her previous life.
Of course, Hermione's enthusiasm for studying hard also affected Andy.
Andy was very obsessed with magic, and this obsession was definitely not something that anyone in this world could understand.
Even Hermione was the same.
Although Hermione came from the Muggle world without magic, she was exposed to magic at the age of eleven after all, and the most basic worldview had not yet been formed.
Andy grew up in a world without magic, and his ordinary life made Andy often fantasize about those mysterious powers.
Now, magic is Andy's dream!
Studying alone may be boring after a long time.
But when there is someone to accompany you, you will feel that the boredom is not hard to endure.
Especially Andy and Hermione are the kind of people who love learning. Learning not only does not make them feel boring, but also makes them happy.
Two people, that is double the happiness.
Anyway, little Lolita is always more pleasing to the eye than the three brats in the dormitory.
Andy has long been impatient to deal with them.
No adult will make friends with children, but little Lolita is an exception.
…
On Saturday morning, Andy and Hermione were eating in the hall.
Pu Pu!
A group of owls flew in from the window of the hall. They flew over the long table and threw the things in their claws to the little wizards who needed to receive the mail.
"Why is there mine?" Andy took a letter that fell from the sky and was slightly stunned.
The reply from home was received as early as Wednesday. Andy had not written to his family in the past two days, let alone bought anything in Diagon Alley.
"Did you forget?"
Hermione glanced around furtively. She tilted her head and leaned close to Andy, lowered her voice and said, "Maybe it was Malfoy."
Okay! He was too hardworking these two days, so Andy had forgotten about it a long time ago.
Andy opened the envelope. There was no signature on the letter, but it was indeed Malfoy's handwriting.
Andy opened the letter and was about to read it, but saw Hermione quickly stand up and look around, pretending to help Andy keep watch, and Andy was so scared that he quickly pulled her aside.
"Stupid! You look so mysterious, even a fool would know that we have a secret."
Andy read the letter openly and instructed: "Eat! Just like usual, don't look around, this is just an ordinary reply letter."
