Chapter 663: Peeping Into the Secret of Transmission and Meeting Vairocana Tathagata

It was noon, and the Tiantai Sect's Dharma Assembly was on the scene. The golden light was floating and the light was brilliant. There were even Sanskrit chants and chanting of scriptures.

Even though this place had become a mess due to the previous fierce battle, and even the main hall had collapsed.

But under the background of the Buddha's light and the Sanskrit chants, it still looked majestic and solemn.

The golden light and the flames were emitted from Master Henglin and Monk Deyun.

Because it was too blazing, people around them almost dared not look directly at it.

Zhang Zhiwei's delusion-breaking divine eyes were not afraid of light and heat, and witnessed the entire process of transmission.

He saw that as Master Henglin hammered down, it seemed that a big sun rose, shining brightly.

That was not the real sun, it was a scene created by the changes of Buddha's light and qi.

And around the sun, six Sanskrit characters, Om, Ma, Ni, Ba, Mi, and Hum, lit up at the same time, emitting pure light, and many golden swastikas were floating.

Many characters jumped around the two people who were being passed on like musical notes, and the sun above their heads was magnificent and scorching, as if it contained extremely terrifying power.

Zhang Zhiwei stared at the sun, and he only felt a heat wave coming, and there was a burning feeling between his eyeballs.

This heat wave was not the real temperature, and it was not burning the body, but directly pointed to the spirit.

Zhang Zhiwei was very familiar with this burning feeling. When he was in the inner scene, if he touched some taboos, the big fireball that appeared was this burning feeling.

It was just that the temperature brought by this sun seemed to be a few points more blazing than that fireball.

It was forcing himself to close his eyes... Zhang Zhiwei reacted instantly.

Immediately, the golden flames in his eyes boiled, and a blazing light came out of it, resisting the terrible high temperature.

His delusion-breaking divine eyes were an ability born from the faith of all living beings after constructing the mask of the godhead.

He could see through the falsehood, and wherever his eyes reached, he could also ignite the target like a magnifying glass focusing sunlight to ignite paper.

Because the latter requires a little time to focus, it is far less easy to use than the golden light, so he doesn't use it very often.

However, he often uses the ability to see through illusions.

Moreover, as his life cultivation, especially the cultivation of "sexuality", becomes stronger, this ability is also improving.

At this moment, the light and heat emitted by the sun that appeared above the heads of Master Henglin and Monk Deyun could no longer stop Zhang Zhiwei's sight.

His eyes saw through the sun and saw the scene inside, which was filled with golden color.

His perspective kept zooming out inside the sun, and the golden color seemed endless.

Finally, in the endless Buddha light, he saw an entity.

It was a figure sitting there, wearing a cassock, but the face and figure were a little blurry, like a stick figure drawn with a pencil, and then erased by an eraser, very blurry and sloppy.

"It looks familiar, as if I've seen it somewhere before."

Zhang Zhiwei thought for a moment and suddenly remembered that this was Master Ku Rong. Although the figure was blurry, some of his charm could not be deceived.

Master Ku Rong, who looked like a stick figure, did not seem to notice Zhang Zhiwei's arrival, and he was chanting the Buddha's name unconsciously.

"This situation..."

Zhang Zhiwei inexplicably thought of the black magician White in the plot of Nasen Island.

White wanted to destroy the Nasen sacred tree, but accidentally broke the golden branch and became a candidate for the king.

After he was killed, he entered the interior of the tree and assimilated with the tree. Later, when Behemoth dug the sacred tree, he could still see his half-man, half-tree figure.

"Ku Rong's situation is somewhat similar to that of the black magician White, so now I am in the interior of the Buddhist heritage, which is equivalent to the holy forest at the root of the sacred tree on Nasen Island."

Zhang Zhiwei said to himself.

Immediately, he turned his gaze away from Ku Rong and looked at himself, and found that he was also made up of a bunch of lines like a tangled mess.

Some of the lines were black and white, and some were shining with golden light.

The brightest part of the golden light was the head, which seemed to be forged from gold, and almost no lines could be seen.

And in the head, the two eyes were the brightest, just like two high-wattage light bulbs.

Zhang Zhiwei was not unfamiliar with this state.

He had not entered this state for a while, and only then did he realize that he had changed a lot compared to before.

At the beginning, he was made up of a bunch of black and white lines, but the lines of ordinary people were matchstick figures, while his lines were much more complicated, a black and white simple figure made up of countless lines.

Of course, although they were both simple figures, his strokes and the proportion of the length were far higher than Master Ku Rong.

But as he practiced the Godhead Mask and established the Tiantong Hall, his stick figure was injected with a touch of color and gold. The first change was in the head, and then spread to the surroundings.

Now, he has nothing to do with stick drawings.

He is more like an unfinished color oil painting. The overall style... is like a shining golden self.

At this moment, he is very tall. It is difficult for him to say how tall he is. Anyway, Ku Rong gives him a very small feeling.

"Those black and white lines are the fate of all living beings. My fate is much thicker than others."

"So, taking advantage of the gap when Master Henglin was passing on the teachings, I broke through the obstruction and forced to see here."

"From what Master said before, I guessed that the Heavenly Master's Degree contained part of the subjectivity of the Ancestor Heavenly Master, or in other words, the Heavenly Master's Degree is actually the continuation of the subjectivity of the Ancestor Heavenly Master."

"The subjectivity of the Ancestor Heavenly Master is objective to us disciples of the Heavenly Master's Mansion."

"After we sit and die, the polished subjectivity will rely on the subjectivity of the Ancestor Heavenly Master."

"Then Buddhism should be similar to the Heavenly Master's Mansion, that is to say, what I see now is actually the subjectivity of the Buddha."

"And Ku Rong should be just a very insignificant part of the subjectivity of the Buddha."

Thinking of this, Zhang Zhiwei turned his eyes away from Ku Rong and looked around.

Sure enough, in addition to Ku Rong, there were many old monks around him who he didn't know.

These old monks were also made up of stick figures, but their figures and faces were mostly clearer than Ku Rong, and the compassion on their faces could be seen.

In addition, there were a few old monks who flashed dazzling golden light in their bodies.

Moreover, their bodies are much larger than other monks like Ku Rong, just like the Dharma Protectors in Buddhism.

Zhang Zhiwei looked at these monks and guessed that they were all abbots or eminent monks of the Tiantai Sect.

Although these people had long passed away, their finely polished subjective views remained.

Those who looked like golden-bodied arhats were monks with high cultivation.

Those who looked like simple human figures were monks who were indistinguishable from the crowd.

And those who were vague like Ku Rong were monks with poor cultivation.

After understanding this, Zhang Zhiwei focused his attention on the old monks who looked like golden-bodied arhats.

These old monks all had their eyes closed, just like the Buddha statues in the temple, but their lips were constantly opening and closing, as if they were chanting Buddhist scriptures.

He looked for a while and suddenly found something unusual. With a thought, he zoomed out.

Immediately, he saw that including Ku Rong, the old monks, like a puzzle in a painting, formed a huge Bodhisattva stepping on a lotus.

If you look at it from a distance, the Bodhisattva is just a Bodhisattva, and you can't see any old monks.

But once the perspective is zoomed in, the Bodhisattva disappears, and the old monks stand out.

Zhang Zhiwei: "…………"

This scene is undoubtedly frightening. If you have intensive phobia, you will definitely not be able to see this.

Zhang Zhiwei carefully observed the Bodhisattva and made sure that he didn't know this person. Then, he looked around.

Around the Bodhisattva, there are many Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and Vajra. They are both male and female, with different expressions, just like the old monks before.

"Since the old monks form the Bodhisattva, what about these Bodhisattvas?"

Zhang Zhiwei continued to zoom out and found that the Bodhisattvas and Arhats formed a huge Buddha with a green body and clear glass.

The Buddha held the seal of the Acala.

This hand seal is very conspicuous. Zhang Zhiwei guessed that this Buddha was the Immovable Buddha of the East.

"The Immovable Buddha of the East is one of the Five Buddhas. He has appeared. The other four Buddhas should also be around!"

Zhang Zhiwei looked around the Immovable Buddha. The first thing he saw was a Buddha with a bright golden body, sitting cross-legged on a nine-level lotus platform, as if there was infinite light.

This Buddha was the same as the Immovable Buddha just now. The grassroots units were all monks.

At the same time, Zhang Zhiwei also recognized this Buddha. It was the Lord of the Western Paradise, Amitabha, who corresponded to the Taoist Eastern Qinghua Emperor and was mentioned by monks every day.

"Two of the Five Buddhas have appeared," Zhang Zhiwei continued to look around.

Soon, he saw the Southern Ratnasambhava Buddha, who was golden in color, with his left hand in the fundamental concentration seal and his right hand in the granting wish seal.

And the Northern Amoghasiddhi Tathagata Buddha, who was iron green in color and had the granting fearlessness seal in his hand.

Four of the Five Buddhas have appeared, and Zhang Zhiwei continued to look for the Vairocana Buddha who sat in the center of the Five Buddhas.

After a search, he also saw Guanyin Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva, Maitreya Buddha, Dipankara Buddha, Duobao Buddha, Medicine Buddha...

He basically saw all the famous Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in Buddhism, but he didn't see Vairocana Buddha, one of the Five Buddhas, nor did he see Sakyamuni Buddha.

"I don't see Sakyamuni or Vairocana Buddha, then..."

Zhang Zhiwei's mind moved, and he continued to zoom in.

The Buddhas were all very big. This time he zoomed very far, so far that he couldn't see the figures of those Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and then he made a new discovery.

He saw a golden arm that was emitting a strong blazing light. Even in his current state, he still felt a sting in his eyes, as if he was looking directly at the sun.

This Buddha was too big for him to see the whole picture at a glance.

"It's countless times bigger than the ones I've seen before. Is there a Buddha with such a high status in Buddhism?"

Zhang Zhiwei was puzzled and continued to zoom out.

As the view zoomed out, Zhang Zhiwei finally saw the Buddha's figure clearly.

It was a golden Buddha, sitting cross-legged, wearing a five-Buddha crown on his head, and adorned with jewels and necklaces all over his body. He had the thirty-two characteristics and eighty good qualities of a Buddha. All descriptions of Buddha can be found in him.

The golden Buddha put his hands on his chest, forming a wisdom fist seal. The Buddha's light behind his head was like a big sun, perfect and flawless, just like the big sun on the heads of Master Henglin and Monk Deyun in the outside world, but it was countless times bigger.

Zhang Zhiwei only took a glance and determined the identity of this giant Buddha composed of countless Buddhist practitioners, countless Bodhisattvas and Buddhas - Vairocana Tathagata.

When you stare into the abyss, the abyss is also staring at you.

When Zhang Zhiwei saw Vairocana Tathagata, Vairocana Tathagata also looked at him.

The light of the sun, the wisdom of the Buddha, is immortal, perfect in all virtues, shining everywhere, and eliminating all darkness.

In an instant, Zhang Zhiwei was wrapped in an extreme light.

These lights were so hot that he felt like he was being burned by fire.

Zhang Zhiwei suddenly felt uneasy, and dazzling golden light came out of his eyes. He looked straight ahead, trying to break through the layer of blazing light like before.

But this time was different from before. The sun wheel on Vairocana Tathagata's head and his eyes gave Zhang Zhiwei a feeling of looking directly at three suns.

These three suns were rotating, and every choice was releasing infinite light and infinite heat.

These dazzling lights suppressed the light in his eyes and burned his eyes.

But in this state, he was not looking with his eyes, so he could still see the current scene clearly.

The Tathagata just looked at him with his eyes, and did not make any other movements.

But Zhang Zhiwei felt that he was seen through.

It was as if he was a Buddha statue made of glass, illuminated by the blazing light, transparent inside and outside, every pore in the body, every thought in the mind, was illuminated clearly in the sunlight, without any secrets.

At the same time, Zhang Zhiwei had an impulse to merge into the other's body and become a part of the other, just like those old monks, those bodhisattvas, arhats, and Buddhas.

This was very uncomfortable, and Zhang Zhiwei quickly gathered his thoughts, maintained his subjective independence, and was not affected by everything around him.

Then, he began to separate his own subjectivity from here.

This was not difficult for Zhang Zhiwei. Soon, his connection with the surroundings was rapidly weakening, and he was about to retreat from here.

During this process, Zhang Zhiwei had a feeling that the Buddha in front of him did not embarrass him too much. He watched him leave, did not chase him, and did not make any other moves.

Zhang Zhiwei's perspective quickly zoomed away, and soon, the figure of the Great Sun Tathagata disappeared.

After passing through a passage of golden light, his consciousness was completely stripped away.

He saw Master Henglin and Monk Deyun again, as well as the red sun hovering above their heads.

And in that sun, Zhang Zhiwei seemed to see a figure.

The figure walked ten steps to the east, south, west and north, and then pointed to the sky with one hand and the ground with the other, and a thunderous voice came out of his mouth:

"I am the only one in the world!"

Then, the red sun slowly sank into Monk Deyun's head and disappeared, and the figure inside also disappeared.

The light and heat disappeared, and the transmission was over.

Master Henglin stepped back a few steps, sat on the ground, closed his eyes and gasped.

Monk Deyun stood in place, clasped his hands together, and looked compassionate.

"Is the transmission of ordination of Tiantai Sect over now?" someone asked.

Because from their perspective, Master Henglin hit the top of Monk Deyun's head with a hammer, and then a golden light shone brightly, their eyes were stinging, and they had to close their eyes. When they opened their eyes again, the light had disappeared, and the transmission of ordination had ended.

Zhang Zhiwei took a deep breath to calm himself. Seeing that Master Henglin was still regulating his breathing, he did not disturb him, but walked to Jie Kong and said:

"Little monk, ask a question, what is the relationship between Sakyamuni and Mahavairocana."
