Chapter 845 Notes

"Harry, calm down." Fan Lin urged in a low voice, but it was of no use.

"No noise, Mr. Fanlin Elle, I think as the student union president, you must set an example, right?" Umbridge let out a burst of sour laughter, "For some people who don't know the rules, people……"

"So, what happened to Cedric can be solved by an accident?" Harry said angrily, Umbridge's attitude angered him very well.

Everyone was in high spirits. Except for Fan Lin and a few others, no one knew what happened that night.

Cedric disappeared, and only Harry returned. When Cedric appeared, his temperament had changed drastically, and it seemed that something terrible had happened to him.

And according to the rumors in Hogwarts, it is said that Cedric was transformed into a vampire.

"Oh, that's such a sad result." Umbridge said coldly,

"That's a conspiracy," Harry said. He could feel himself shaking with rage. He just told everyone this, and there were at least 0 classmates who were listening enthusiastically. "Voldemort killed him and all that stuff, you know."

"What do I know?" Umbridge seemed to have heard some joke.

"Cedric had an accident," Harry said.

"Then what you mean is that you harmed him? I'm sorry, but your words have to make me think so." Umbridge shook her head, "So, what do you think? Potter? Maybe we still need to Another trip to the Wizengamot?"

"Oh, okay!" Harry nodded, "If it makes you realize the reality."

Professor Umbridge's face lost all expression.

For a moment, Harry thought she might scream at him.

Then she said in her most gentle, sweet, girly voice: "I'm sorry, Mr. Potter, I think you're not up to par right now."

Umbridge looked at Harry dangerously, "We are teachers and students, so..."

Umbridge paused.

"Come here, Mr. Potter, dear."

Harry left his chair, strode past Fanlin and walked to the teacher's desk.

He could feel the entire classroom holding their breath. He was so angry that he didn't even notice what happened next.

Professor Umbridge took out a roll of pink parchment from her handbag, spread it out on the table, dipped her quill into the ink and began scribbling.

She held her back up so Harry couldn't see what she was writing. After a minute passed, she rolled up the parchment and tapped her wand, which sealed the seams so Harry could not open them.

"Give this note to Professor McGonagall, dear," said Professor Umbridge, handing him the parchment.

He took it without saying a word, turned around and walked out of the room, without even looking at Fan Lin and the others again, and then slammed the classroom door.

He walked quickly down the corridor, the note for Professor McGonagall clutched tightly in his hand, but after a sharp turn he suddenly encountered Peeves, a small man with a wide mouth floating behind him. in the air, playing on the inkwell.

"Why is this little Potter!" Peeves chuckled. And got ink all over the wall.

Harry jumped back, swore and walked off the road. "Get out of here, Peeves."

"Oh, imagination makes you angry," said Peeves. Following Harry down the corridor, glaring at him maliciously from above. "What time is it now? My little friend? Hearing voices? Seeing visions? Talking..."

Peeves said loudly, "Don't you know how to speak?"

"I said, leave, leave me alone!" Harry shouted, and he almost cast an unknown spell.

He ran down the nearest stairs, but Peeves slid down the banister and followed him.

"Well, a lot of people think he's barking, little one, but some well-wishers think he's just sad, and Peeves knows best so he knows he's mad—"

"Shut up!" A door to his left suddenly opened, and Professor McGonagall appeared from her office, looking cold and a little troubled.

"What on earth are you shouting about, Potter?" she snapped, as Peeves happily faded out of sight. "Why aren't you in the classroom?"

"I was sent to see you," Harry said stiffly.

"Send? What do you mean, send?"

Harry stiffened, then he pulled out Professor Umbridge's note. Professor McGonagall took it, frowned, tore it open with her wand, flattened it and began to look.

Harry observed his surroundings as she read what Umbridge had written.

"Come in here, Potter." Harry followed Professor McGonagall inside. The door closed automatically behind him.

"Okay," said Professor McGonagall, circling him. "Is this true?"

"What's true?" Harry asked, seeming to be more positive. "Professor?" Harry added.

"Is it true that you yelled at Professor Umbridge?"

"Yes," said Harry.

"You called her a liar?"

"Yes."

"You told her that the man whose name you cannot mention is back?"

"Yes."

Professor McGonagall sat down behind the desk and watched him closely. Then she said, "Have a cookie, Potter."

"Eat a—what?"

"Eat a cookie," she repeated impatiently, pointing to a checkered can on a stack of paper on her desk. "Then sit down."

Harry had been here before, when he first joined the Quidditch team. He sat on a chair and ate a cookie. Professor McGonagall also temporarily put down Professor Umbridge's note and looked at Harry seriously.

"Potter, you have to be careful." Harry swallowed the cookie and looked at her.

Professor McGonagall's voice was not what it had been before; it was no longer strong, stern, and fresh; it had become depressed and worried. "Misbehaving in Professor Umbridge's class deserves more than 50 points and detention."

"That is……"

"Potter, use your usual sense," Professor McGonagall said sternly, suddenly changing back to her old self. "You know where she's from, who she's working for, and you know who she's reporting this to."

The bell rang for the end of get out of class. There was a rough sound above the head - it was hundreds of students moving.

"It says here that she will be giving you detention every night, starting tomorrow," Professor McGonagall said, looking down at Professor Umbridge's note again.

"Every night this week!" Harry repeated, sounding horrified. "But, Professor, you can't..."

"No, I can't..." Professor McGonagall said weakly.

"but……"

"She is your teacher and she gives you solitary confinement every night. You go to her room at five o'clock tomorrow, first. Just remember: you must stay with Professor Umbridge." (To be continued. )
