Chapter 259: Revealing

"Quick...quickly get out of the way..."

Ron's voice seemed to be squeezed out of his throat, and his words became trembling with his trembling body.

"What?" Fanlin was puzzled. He was still thinking about why Ron's face became the same as Laura's, but the sudden words really scared him.

"Get out of the way, Fanlin!"

That was Professor Lupin's voice. As if to cooperate with Professor Lupin, Ron, who was still trembling, suddenly stopped. Then, Ron raised his hand holding the magic wand and pointed it at Fanlin's head.

"Get out of the way, Fanlin!" Hermione almost roared, and Fanlin finally woke up. Ron's face was bloodless, of course, not because Peter Pettigrew sucked the magic power.

There is another way to accomplish this, which is to overdraw magic power to cast a more powerful spell, such as the Avada Kedavra Curse...

Without time to think, Fanlin vaguely saw a pale green light appearing at the tip of Ron's wand. Fanlin certainly would not doubt the power of Ron's spell. Judging from Ron's situation, this Avada Kedavra Curse overdraws a lot of Ron's things, which is not something that can be solved by a nosebleed.

Just before the death curse descended on his body, Fanlin did not hesitate to launch the only spell he could do, the Animagus Transfiguration.

At the same time as Ron's spell was cast, Fanlin's body became twisted, and the green light penetrated Fanlin's body at this moment, and then hit the wall behind Fanlin heavily.

With a bang, countless collisions of magic power finally caused the dilapidated house to suffer its greatest damage, and the entire wall collapsed with Ron's spell.

"Vanlin..." Hermione's scream echoed throughout the Shrieking Shack. The girl seemed to be terrified. Ron's spell just now gave her a particularly evil and cold feeling, as if someone had been killed.

Harry looked at Ron in shock. He didn't understand why Ron suddenly attacked Vanlin. Harry was very familiar with that light. He had seen it countless times at night. The same dark night, the dilapidated house, and the bleak green light.

Ron, did he just want to... kill Vanlin?

Harry kept repeating such terrible thoughts in his mind, and he felt that his brain was about to explode.

Ever since Professor Lupin reminded him, Harry felt that something was wrong. It was not until Hermione's scream that he really understood what Ron wanted to do.

But why did he do this?

Harry's mind was in a mess, but Sirius and Lupin did not give Harry time to think.

They had already escaped Snape's control. Naturally, Lupin took back his wand, and Sirius raised his hand.

"Epelliarmus!"

That was Professor Lupin's spell, which knocked Ron to the ground. Naturally, Ron's wand also fell into Lupin's hands.

Ron's body collapsed almost at the same time as the wall. Harry saw Ron's forehead hit the bedpost, and a stream of blood flowed down Ron's cheek, but Ron did not faint like Snape. He looked at the ceiling in despair, and his tears and blood were almost mixed together.

However, Ron's despair did not mean that Scabbers was the same. As soon as Ron fell, Peter Pettigrew rushed out of Ron's chest pocket, and he wanted to escape with the help of the chaos created by Ron.

As long as he left here, Peter had hope of survival.

With the help of the dust, Peter almost succeeded. He even passed by the feet of the girl named Hermione. This place was very close to the door. As long as he rushed out, no one could stop him.

Black was too weak. Even if he became an Animagus, he would not catch up with him.

However, just when he was about to succeed, a snow-white figure blocked his way.

It was a ferret, with soft fur and eyes of different colors, which made the ferret that suddenly visited very smart.

"Damn, where did the ferret come from!" Peter Pettigrew cursed fiercely, and he screamed angrily in the ruins. When he first entered the Weasley family, there were always many natural enemies who wanted to eat it, but these mediocre animals failed. They all died in Peter Pettigrew's mouth, whether it was a cat or a weasel.

In Peter's opinion, the one in front of him was no different from the stupid ferrets he had killed. Except for the eyes, everything else was exactly the same as his kind.

Peter could kill the ferret with a jump, and he could bite the throat of the damn ferret in one go.

However, in fact, the script did not play out as Peter Pettigrew had planned.

This stupid ferret seemed to be waiting for him to pounce on it, and in fact, Peter did just that.

However, what greeted him was not the ferret's throat. In Peter's opinion, the ferret's reaction was surprisingly fast. Before he could pounce on the ferret's neck, he was pressed to the ground by the ferret from midair.

Peter squeaked, he wanted to get rid of this damn ferret, but due to the limitation of his Animagus, Peter's strength as a human could not be fully exerted. He could only scream unwillingly twice, that's all.

"Don't worry, Hermione..." Fan Lin's voice came from the door. He had just used Animagus' ability to change body shape to avoid Ron's killing curse, and then solved an unknown person by the way. A minor annoyance.

"Fan Lin?" Hermione exclaimed in surprise. She rubbed her eyes with her hands. She needed to confirm whether this was true. She saw with her own eyes that the spell passed through Fan Lin's body.

She was so frightened that the power of the spell was so powerful that the entire wall was destroyed by the spell.

Although it has not been confirmed yet, Hermione's body couldn't help but lean closer. The girl was still crying, which made Fan Lin feel very panicked.

"You, are you okay..." Fan Lin said in a panic. He stretched out his hand as if to wipe away the girl's tears with his fingers, but the girl subconsciously avoided it.

Sirius originally wanted to tease the kid in front of him, but after he saw the mouse at Fan Lin's feet, he completely threw this idea aside.

He would never admit his mistake, that mouse, Peter Pettigrew, was the real betrayer.

"How are you, Fanlin?" Harry asked, he saw the curse, but Fanlin was still standing here.

"Animagus..." Fan Lin said, "I used transformation to avoid it."

"Fortunately!" Harry patted his chest with lingering fear, "I really didn't expect Ron..."

Harry looked a little ugly as he asked why Ron knew such an evil curse and could successfully cast it.

"That wasn't done by Ron!" Fan Lin said, "It seems that Ron was controlled by Little Peter. He reminded me before casting the spell..."

"Control it?" Lupine asked. "You mean, the Imperius Curse?"

"Perhaps it would be best for him to tell you this answer himself. Professor Lupine, please remove this mouse's Animagus transformation."

Fan Lin sneered twice, and with a kick, a dark brown mouse rose into the air from the ground.

"Of course..." Lupine said, as Scabbers took to the air, he prepared his wand.

"FiniteIncatatem!"

The wand emitted a blue-white light; for a while, Scabbers hung in the air, its little black body twisting wildly... Ron's stiff head turned around, and he stared blankly at Scabbers in the air... The mouse fell down and landed on the floor.

Another blinding flash, and then... it was like a quick shot of a tree growing. A head appeared on the ground; limbs stretched out; after a while, a man stood where Banban was just now, wringing his hands in fear.

The man was short, not much taller than Harry and Hermione. His thin, light hair was unkempt, and he had a large bald spot on the top of his head. His appearance is that of an obese person who has lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. His skin looked dirty, almost like patchy fur, and his pointed nose and watery little eyes still had the characteristics of a mouse. He looked at everyone, breathing quickly and weakly. Harry saw his eyes flick to the door and then quickly back again.

"Oh, hello, Peter," said Lupine cheerfully, as if it was often the case that rats turned into old classmates around him, "Long time no see."

"Little Sirius... Lu... Lupine..." Peter Pettigrew's voice was also high-pitched. His eyes quickly glanced toward the door again. "My friends...my old friends..."

Black's wand arm came up, but Lupine caught his wrist and gave him a warning look. Lupine then turned to Peter Pettigrew, speaking in a light and casual voice.

"It seems that you are doing well, and your magic power has increased. If you observe the whole process from another person's perspective, there must be some bias. I think I should repeat it to you. After all, you were in Ron's pocket just now. It’s a bit stuffy to hide inside, and the rat’s hearing may not be very good.”

"Lu... Luping... I think it's not... good. Don't worry about me. Maybe we can change places to talk and reminisce about old times. How about we go out?"

Peter let out a timid laugh. He didn't want to do it, so he looked very reluctant. (To be continued)
