Return to Singapore 1995

Belated Comments on the Launch

Last night, I stayed alone in my work office and was busy working on the manuscript until late at night. I didn’t even have time to send a message for publication. I still wanted to write a few words after taking some time at noon to chat and chat with all the readers and beautiful sisters who support this uncle. A few words.

At around 9 o'clock in the morning, reader "Ferocious Big Dog" left a message asking me if I had any experience of immigrating to Singapore?

In fact, the uncle mentioned in the introduction of the book that he once studied and worked in Singapore for a relatively long period of time, so he wrote in such detail and the pace seemed slow. Even the editor was a little worried when he saw my first draft and suggested that I explain it in the introduction of the book, lest some readers would be impatient to read on...

The uncle's experience in Singapore itself is somewhat "inspirational". Like Li Xiaofan, the uncle did not have a very high degree of education. Later, he worked and studied on the job in Singapore. In the end, he obtained a postgraduate diploma from an overseas university and worked for many 500-year-olds. In a strong company, I moved from the lowest level to a higher position and obtained an EP pass from Singapore.

Just when he was about to get PR as a permanent resident of Singapore, the uncle didn’t know where he had gone wrong, so he decided to return to a multinational company in Shanghai as a department head...

Then he was suddenly "laid off" a few years ago. Finally, due to family reasons and other reasons, the uncle chose to return to his hometown in the small county to help a friend's factory.

That friend's factory used to be a supplier to our foreign-funded company. When a friend becomes your boss, you have to go through a process of adaptation... Only you know how it feels.

Of course, life in small counties is relatively leisurely, and Uncle Ben also likes the feeling of working and living back in his hometown."

After the second child was born, the uncle felt that life was stressful. The cost of raising another child was too high now...

My uncle is also a lover of Internet literature, so he is thinking about whether he can write books in his spare time to support his family.

Of course, the ideal is plump, but the reality is skinny!

At that time, you had to go to work, travel frequently, and take care of your family when you returned home. You didn't have much energy or time to write a book properly.

So, the result was that two or three books were unfinished...

This year, my uncle has taken a back seat and doesn’t have to travel much. He plays a relatively leisurely role as a consultant. His income is much less. The good thing is that he finally has some time to write a book.

That's why we have the current book "Return to Singapore 1995". The Li Xiaofan in it has more or less the shadow of Uncle Ben.

Whenever I am in front of the computer, I make a cup of tea and light a cigarette. In the past years in the Lion City, those who were young and frivolous, struggled, cried, loved, succeeded, and failed...scenes are like this. Once again it was clearly in front of my eyes.

The uncle is thinking every day, if God gives you a chance to return to the Lion City in 1995, how will you start your life?

Thank you to all the readers and friends who have given me great support along the way, every friend who has tipped me, subscribed to me, voted for me monthly, voted for me to recommend, encouraged me, and given me suggestions!

Finally, I must thank the beautiful, gentle and very patient editor Jue Zida, and the editor-in-chief of the ninth group, Mung Dou Ju, who encouraged me!

No matter what the final result of this book is, I will definitely write it down seriously!

Friends, let us return to Singapore in 1995, fight with the protagonist Li Xiaofan, and experience a completely different new life!
