Chapter 2695 Hollywood Rhapsody (Twenty-Seven)
Chapter 2669 Hollywood Rhapsody (Twenty-seven)
In a flash, a shadow had already rushed into the bushes. Schiller pulled Strange back into the back door, crossed the chaos, came to the other side of the bar, and rushed out from the door where the shadow came from.
"Did you drive?" Schiller asked.
Strange ran staggeringly and panting. He shook his head and said, "No, I took the bus."
"Good, me too, find a car."
Schiller looked around and found a car on the side of the road. It was a pretty good car. He turned around, took a chair from the chaotic bar, ran to the car, banged the window twice, opened the door and got in.
"You don't have a key." Strange said after getting in the car, "I don't know how to short-circuit the ignition!"
Schiller suddenly took out a key from his pocket. Strange, who was sitting in the passenger seat, turned his head and looked at him. In such a moment, the car was already on fire. Schiller stepped on the accelerator and the car rushed out.
"You planned it!" Strange gritted his teeth and said.
"Yes, this is Alex's car. Guess why he suddenly troubled me?"
"Planned it so early?!"
Schiller smiled and moved his eyes to the rearview mirror. As expected, two cars, one black and one gray, staggered and caught up.
Strange twisted his neck and looked back, staring at Schiller and said, "What kind of trouble did you get into? I saw a man holding a rifle!"
"I've said it before, I killed a man, the leader of their area, who happened to be in charge of an important project recently."
"Why did you kill him?!"
"Do you believe me when I say I'm getting rid of harm for the people?"
"Then he should have killed you!"
"Don't worry." Schiller said slowly, "There will be such a day in the future, but you're the one driving, remember to drive faster then." His eyes moved to Strange's hand again and said, "For your career."
"What crazy talk are you talking about?" Strange kept turning his head to look back, the car was going faster and faster, his body pressed tightly against the seat back, and he began to twitch nervously.
"They obviously have more than this number of people. What are you going to do?"
"I told you not to rush." Schiller smiled and said, "Someone will come to help us solve the problem."
Schiller stepped deeper on the accelerator and held the steering wheel steadily. The roar on the street and the thunder in the sky merged into violent rock drums. The car was like an arrow from a string, blending into the flash of lightning.
Suddenly, a deeper and more violent vibration came from the top of his head. Strange looked up, not caring about the cold raindrops hitting his face. The shape of another behemoth was reflected between the water drops on his eyelashes.
"Helicopter, FBI helicopter!" Strange didn't care about so much. He stuck his head out of the car window and stared at the trajectory of the helicopter. Sure enough, more cars surrounded him from below, all with uniform paint.
Strange turned back and looked at Schiller and said, "How much trouble have you caused? There are at least hundreds of agents here!"
"Instead of thinking about this, think about your career." Schiller held the steering wheel with one hand and a cigarette in the other hand and said, "So many people saw me attacking Alex, I definitely can't continue here, what about you?"
Strange clenched his fists, and he roared at Schiller, "What does all this have to do with me?!"
"Why did you chase him out?"
Strange was speechless. He looked out the window from time to time and said, "The agents are here, why are you here?" Why don't you stop the car?"
"How do you know that the person sitting inside is an agent?"
"That's from the FBI..."
"The helicopter and the car may indeed be the property of the FBI, but the person may not be." Schiller turned around again and said, "Why do you think the first group of people dared to chase me so blatantly?"
Strange thought of the worst possibility, and he couldn't help staring at Schiller and said, "Since you knew, why did you bother them?"
Schiller shook the hand holding the cigarette, pale and thin like a ghost claw, with smoke lingering in it, just like some kind of magic that makes people unable to look away.
"I have a gun and there is a person in front of me."
"So what?"
"I shot."
"What's the reason?"
"The reason is that I have a gun in front of me, and there is a person in front of me, and I have such power." Schiller grinned, and his fingers suddenly tightened.
Bang!!!!
The tire burst and the car flew sideways. Strange didn't have time to hold on to anything and was hit on the head and bleeding in the shaking of the car.
The car slowly stopped.
Blood also flowed down Schiller's cheek until it covered his entire face, making it look like a bright red ghost face. His hair was loose and the blood stuck to his face. He was extremely embarrassed, evil like a devil, and beautiful like a devil.
"Why did you chase me out?" Schiller asked.
Strange hung his head, the pain made him dizzy, but he still held on to one side of the seat and said, "Do you see hope?"
"I'm not a kidnapper." Schiller opened the door on one side and said, but he looked back at Strange's eyes and said to him very seriously, "But there is an I."
"There is a you?"
"Yes, there are many of me in this body. You are only seeing one of them now. You don't need to understand what is going on. You just need to remember to be a hostage and train a kidnapper."
Strange shook his head in confusion. The moment he looked up, he was dazzled by the light of the flashlights called back by the agents.
In the dazzling light, he saw a figure raising his hands, and countless agents surrounded him. The arms holding guns gathered together like layers of petals unfolding.
The vision began to become dark from the surroundings, and the darkness gradually spread to the center of the vision. The point in the center was still bright.
Strange focused his eyes and looked down. He saw the cane against his Adam's apple. He looked up and saw the familiar yet strange face.
"Listen, I don't have time to talk nonsense with you. One of my friends was seriously injured and is now being rescued in the Presbyterian Hospital..."
Strange took two steps back and raised his head slightly. The cane had already reached his Adam's apple, and fragments of past memories came to his mind.
"If I get into trouble one day, you have to do me a favor..."
This is not the point, the point is the second half of the sentence, especially "Maybe you will get enough reward from it."
Under Schiller's threat, Strange got into the car and saw his sneer in the rearview mirror the moment he closed the door.
Sitting in the meditation room of Kamar-Taj, Strange suddenly felt the abnormality of the Eye of Agamotto. He looked back and saw that the artifact was floating in the air. He saw an abnormal point in the chaotic and mixed timeline displayed in it, so he took two steps forward and took the gem into his palm.
The phone suddenly rang. Strange stared at the dot and picked up the phone and said, "Hello, what's up?"
"Yes, I'm leaving soon. I won't be the first one to arrive in Los Angeles, but I'm definitely not the last one. Although seeing Stark's face earlier is nothing to be happy about, I just want to see Wanda and her children."
"Of course, I know..."
Strange saw that the abnormal point repeatedly jumped in a period of time in the near future, and the figure in the picture that appeared was somewhat familiar.
Suddenly, this abnormal point jumped to a very long past, at least 20 years ago.
After hanging up the phone, Strange stared at the Eye of Agamotto, seemed to understand something, and couldn't help but smile from the heart.
All the pictures that appeared in front of him quickly retreated until they froze.
With a swish, the sharp blade passed through ten centimeters below Strange's right elbow. There was no blood, no stumps, no pain or screams. At that moment, Strange saw Schiller's shocked face, but he didn't tell anyone. Schiller's voice was also echoing in his mind at that time.
"... I feel ashamed that I can't do it. I often feel endless depression because of this shame, and even full of self-destructive tendencies, which makes them save me more. Because of my initial return, they will only expect more returns that will never come."
"I'm not a kidnapper, but there is a me..."
"... Be a hostage and train a kidnapper."
Strange, standing in front of the banquet hall, covered the bright sunlight in front of him with his hands. Looking at a figure walking towards him, he couldn't help but wonder if the facts were what he imagined.
Seeing Strange standing at the door waiting, Schiller was confused for a moment, but he quickly walked up to him, stood side by side with him, and turned to ask, "Why don't you go in?"
"Nothing, I just don't want to see Stark's face too early."
Schiller sighed helplessly. Thinking of Stark's remarks about the Hand of God, he felt a deep headache. Although the previous identity and background issues had been resolved, the problem of these two turkeys confronting each other was still in front of him.
"Let's go in." Schiller led the way forward. Strange stood there and Schiller had to stop and look back at him, asking, "What's wrong? What are you doing here?"
Strange paused, but still walked towards Schiller and said, "Do you remember the first time we met?"
Schiller's expression froze slightly, and then he said, "It was so long ago. You don't still hate me for threatening you with a cane, do you?"
Strange raised his eyebrows, his eyes passed through Schiller's face, and after showing a smile, he said, "I also know that you were in a hurry at the time. How was my driving that day?"
"Not bad, at least it was fast." Schiller looked back and said, "Do you want me to give you a certificate?"
"That's not necessary." Strange restrained his smile and stared at Schiller's back, not knowing what he was thinking.
In the Mind Tower, a hand suddenly appeared above the layers of files in the memory bank, and one of the folders was taken out. Looking through it, there were only a few words.
Another figure in a black suit stood behind him and asked, "So you really deleted all of Strange's parts? Only a chase with the agent is left?"
Superego turned around and said, "Treat him the way he treats you."
Arrogant smiled and said, "'Be a hostage and train a kidnapper', Strange did a good job."
I didn't expect it, it's all his own fault
