Chapter 1784 S Apocalypse Event (Fifty-Two)
Chapter 1758 S Apocalypse Event (Fifty-two)
The dream is over.
But the people who woke up found that they were not on Apokolips. They were in Gotham City, and in Arkham Asylum. The Gotham villains stood in a row, staring at the people lying on the floor of the hall.
Spider-Man was the first to wake up. He patted his head with his hand, shook his head hard, and said in a hoarse voice: "What's going on? Why do I seem to see a spaceship?"
Harry tilted her neck and rubbed her shoulders. After doing a few chest expansion exercises, she said: "If I remember correctly, was there a spaceship pointing its gun at us in the end? What kind of script is this? Has Darkseid in the dream world developed to Apokolips?"
Damian got up with a dazed look on his face, but Bruce Jr. had already turned around and started looking for the familiar figure. Sure enough, Batman was sitting in a chair next to him and adjusting his bat equipment.
Noticing Bruce's gaze, Batman said in a low and hoarse voice: "You are not mistaken, that is Darkseid and his spaceship."
"I don't understand!" Bruce raised his voice and said: "Where is the fair competition? We all started as orphans in Gotham, and Darkseid built a spaceship in a few months. Isn't this too outrageous?"
"Am I awake? Was it really just a dream?" Damian muttered in a daze, and suddenly he was stunned, and then secretly glanced at Batman with his peripheral vision.
If he remembered correctly, Batman hugged him at the last moment. Was it his illusion? Or was it really...
Damian felt a little panic. He kept saying in his heart that it was just a dream. Besides, he had been hugged by the young Batman before, so there was nothing to be surprised about.
Harley narrowed her eyes, looked around, and sure enough, she saw a familiar figure in the crowd, so she ran over, hugged Harley, looked up at her and said: "Go ask your little pudding what's going on, I guess he must know."
Harley whistled a few times at the sky, and then began to lower her head to study the pattern on the handle of her hammer. Harley's eyes became more and more unfriendly. Harley looked at the knife flying behind her, sighed and said: "Well, I don't know much. If you want to listen, I'll tell you."
Soon, several people who had just woken up looked at her. Harley rolled her braided hair with her fingers and said: "In fact, before I took you to Arkham Asylum, the Joker came to see me. Oh, the Joker in our world, my little cookie."
"Then you still say you don't know where he went?" Harley raised her tone and said dissatisfiedly.
"I really don't know what he's going to do." Harley looked aggrieved. She pouted and said, "He only told me that he was going to do something big and asked me to help."
"What did he ask you to do?"
"He said that he and two other clowns would drag people on a certain alien planet into the dream, and asked me to take the lunatics and Robins from Arkham Asylum to take away the valuables on that planet."
Harley looked at Harley with her mouth wide open. Harley spread her arms and pretended to be innocent and said, "Before you fell asleep, the Joker gave me a signal, so I drove these lunatics from Gotham to Apokolips. I don't know how I did it, but the things have been moved anyway."
"But what about Darkseid?" Harley scratched her head in confusion. What Harley said was obviously part of the plan of these clowns, but it made her more curious about what the complete plan was.
Just then the door of the hall was pushed open, and the center of everyone's topic stood outside-the Joker.
Of course, it was still the Joker from the main universe. He walked in with his hands behind his back, then jumped sideways in front of Batman and said to him with a smile: "How is it? Did I do a good job?"
Batman ignored him, stood up from the chair, turned around and said to the lunatics in Arkham Asylum: "Drive Gotham back first, but don't land. There are a lot of things brought back from Apokolips that need to be dealt with."
"Wait a minute." Spider-Man suddenly realized something, he quickly ran to the window, looked outside, and then his slightly terrified roar echoed in the city.
"Why is Gotham flying in the sky?!!!!"
In Wayne Manor, Schiller walked out of the guest room, and Bruce didn't know when he sat back on the sofa. Constantine looked up at Schiller who was walking down the stairs leisurely, shrugged and said, "It's time to reveal the mystery."
Jack seemed to be suddenly awakened. After a start, he sat up on the sofa, smacked his lips, and poured the glass of wine in front of him that had long been melted into his mouth.
Schiller sat on the sofa, Harvey filled his glass with wine, Schiller picked up the glass and clinked it with him gently, and then began to repeat his plan.
"This is not entirely my plan, but the Joker's." Schiller's first sentence was shocking, making everyone look at Jack, but Jack rolled his eyes and said, "It's not me, it's another one."
"That was when my Joker personality hadn't become one with me yet." Schiller took a sip of wine, looked at everyone's surprised eyes and said, "So what are you surprised about? Didn't I say that this plan started a long time ago?"
"It's a bit too early." Gordon commented.
"When Jack made a hole in my mind palace, my Joker personality had not yet merged with me, but in fact he was originally a part of Arrogance, and he had some of my characteristics, especially tolerance."
Schiller sighed softly and said, "I was chosen by Batman, so the part of Arrogance was contaminated and became the Joker. Arrogance and the Joker transformed from Arrogance were very dissatisfied with this, and they were looking for ways to fight back."
"Wait a minute." Constantine heard what Schiller meant. He stared at Schiller and said, "You mean you and Bruce have tortured each other for four years, and it's not considered a fight back against Batman?"
Schiller shook his head and said, "It's not Batman that needs to be fought back, but the rule that Batman's gaze can turn people into Jokers."
The few people were silent for a while, but it seemed more like they had nothing to say. Gordon smacked his lips and said, "Can I understand that you want to take revenge on the world?"
"About that." Schiller took another sip of wine, and then said, "You should know that I have summed up some rules of Batman and the Joker. This is the world 's underlying rules, and I am also applying this rule to make my plan. "
"It's like proposing a mathematical conjecture, proving the conjecture to be true, and then using the formula to solve the problem, but this conjecture is too simple. I think there should be a corresponding conjecture that can explore the essence of this world in more depth."
"I have a headache." Constantine covered his forehead and said, "Just tell me what you did."
"In order to add some color to the world rules that arbitrarily pollute my personality traits, and to propose more innovative conjectures, I reached a deal with the clown personality. The two of us merged into one, becoming a complete arrogance, and then put the whole plan into practice."
"The whole plan is as follows: First, in order to prevent the many restrictions in the real world from affecting my plan, and to prevent too much noise from affecting the earth's home, we need a pure experimental environment, and the dreamland is the best choice."
"Oh, let's talk about the part targeting me." Constantine said a little depressed.
"Sorry, I never targeted you." Schiller shook his head and said, "I didn't expect Morpheus to leave the power of the god of dreams to a jerk who wanted to sleep with him the first time he met him. You are a pleasant surprise."
Constantine covered his chest, and the expression on his face was not sure whether it was pain or happiness, or both, alternating in cycles.
"We have already understood how you obtained the authority of the dream world." Zatanna added: "You gave a part of your soul to Constantine, so you naturally have the authority he has. This part can be skipped directly."
"Thank you, Miss." Schiller nodded, and then said: "While I stole the authority of the dream kingdom, Jack was also doing his work in the dream kingdom."
"The Sandman who manages the dream kingdom and other people in the dream kingdom thought that Jack was just messing around aimlessly. The Sandman thought that Jack was the big alarm clock I threw into the dream kingdom, but in fact, Jack took the opportunity to mess up and successfully found the dream collection of our universe's real world."
"The dreams in the dream kingdom are bubbles one after another. Dreams in the same universe and the same region are all in one collection. It is not easy to find. Jack spent some time, but everything is worth it."
"What do you mean? ”
“By extracting the useful parts of the dreams of life in our universe and integrating them, we can build the dream world you just saw.”
“I wonder why it is so realistic.” Barbara said with sudden realization: “If the whole world was built by Jack, he wouldn’t know so much about the rural areas of Mexico, right?”
“It’s better to say that he integrated it than to say that he built it.” Schiller went on to explain: “He just extracted the factors related to the real world from the dreams of people all over the world and integrated them together. Because those memories are real, the dreams naturally appear very real.”
Bruce turned his head to look at Jack, who smiled at him and said: “I still didn’t lie. ‘I built more than just Gotham’ can mean that I built other places, or that I did other things besides building, right?”
Bruce covered his mouth with a wine glass.
"What is your purpose in doing this?" Barbara asked, her eyes swept between Schiller and Jack and said: "I can't say that I know clowns very well, but I know that if two people are fanatically pursuing an idol at the same time, they will not have any friendly cooperation."
"Of course, it's because the conjecture I want to explore is also of interest to other clowns." Schiller smiled and said: "Passion is the greatest motivation, isn't it?"
"But having a venue alone is not enough, this plan must have experimental subjects. Jack and I only have two clowns together, and we need a third one."
"By chance, I went to the main universe..." Schiller turned to look at Bruce, who looked up to study the pattern on the ceiling.
"I think the Joker in the main universe is pretty good. Although there was a little trouble in the middle, which prevented my body from going to the main universe, the experimental site is in the dream universe after all, so it doesn't hinder anything."
"On the eve of the invasion of Apocalypse in the main universe, I contacted the Joker in the main universe through dreams. I explained my conjecture to him and hoped that he could cooperate with me to complete the plan. He was also very interested in my proposal, so he joined our research group, and the three clowns were gathered."
"I still don't understand what you are going to do." Constantine said with a puzzled look: "Why not tell me what your conjecture is first."
Others looked at Schiller quite attentively. They were also interested in the conjecture that could impress the other two clowns.
Schiller nodded and agreed happily and said.
"If Batman's gaze can produce the Joker, then can the Joker's gaze also produce Batman?"
