Chapter 557 Hermione's Trust and Argument
"Ron didn't put his name in the Goblet of Fire!" said Hermione.
"Not necessarily, he probably put his name into the Goblet of Fire last night, so that no one will find out, right?!"
"Then how did he do it?!" Hermione said sharply, looking at Harry angrily. "There's no way he could break through Dumbledore's magical limits."
"He might have thought of Ivan's method a long time ago, it's hard to say," Harry said hesitantly, avoiding Hermione's gaze.
Although rationally told him that he should trust Ron, emotionally, he was still a little uncomfortable.
When he thought of Ron becoming a warrior, he felt an inexplicable sense of betrayal.
"I don't think Ron would be so smart, Ivan is right, this is a conspiracy, we have to explain it for him!" Hermione said quickly.
She made up her mind, and as soon as she pulled Ivan and Harry up, she ran to the rostrum.
With Keresis posing as Professor Moody still there, this is their only chance to help Ron.
Don't look at Hermione who has been arguing with Ron all the time, but at critical moments, she is indeed the first to rush forward.
In order to prove her friend's innocence, Hermione is such a person without hesitation.
"Professor, Ron has been with us all day, there's no way he's going to put his name in the Goblet of Fire," said Hermione anxiously.
Moody took out the flagon and took another sip, staring at Hermione with normal eyes, but staring at Ivan with magical eyes.
Looking at the disapproving expression on his face, he didn't seem to care whether Ron became a warrior or not.
"Miss Granger, please understand that when the name is spat out by the Goblet of Fire, it means that Mr. Weasley has signed a contract with it. This is a very strong magical contract, no one can break it, and he must participate in the Tournament! said Moody dryly.
"But, Professor, Ron didn't put the name in!"
"That's not the point, we just need to know"
"Professor, this is obviously a conspiracy. Someone wants to frame Ron!" Ivan interrupted him and gave Moody a wink. "I think we should go in and stop it, at least we should persuade everyone to accept this reality."
Seeing Aiwen's eyes, Moody nodded reluctantly, his movements blunt.
"Okay, okay, you three come in with me and help Mr Weasley prove it!" he said gruffly.
Ivan, Harry, and Hermione followed behind Moody and walked to the door of the hut.
They walked in, and in the room, Dumbledore was interrogating Ron, and the debate continued.
Ron was so bewildered that he couldn't even speak a whole sentence.
Snape, who was standing on the outermost side, turned his head and looked at the four of them with a frown.
After seeing Moody, he didn't say anything, but his expression became more disgusted.
Moody originally wanted to express his opinion directly, but Ai Wen gently pulled him, motioning him to listen first.
"You're obviously mistaken," Fleur said proudly by the fire, raising her chin and looking at Ron with disdain. "He can't compete, he's too young. I know Hogwarts has a very strong little guy, but obviously not him."
"Yeah, it's really surprising!" Ludo Bagman rubbed his smooth chin and looked down at Ron with a smile. Measures, only implemented this year, now that his name is sprayed out of the goblet, I mean, I think that now that we have reached this point, we are not allowed to flee, the regulations are very clear, the warriors must Obey, Ron will do his best."
"This is so absurd, so absurd!" Madame Maxime interrupted Bagman, her pretty head almost touched the chandelier full of candles, her huge chest in black satin heaved violently, She said angrily, "Dumbledore, what the hell does this mean?! I thought we made it very clear in the rules. In order to avoid this kind of thing from happening, we specially emphasized that young wizards who are not under age are not allowed to participate. But Hogwarts slipped one in."
"I want to know that too, Dumbledore!" said Karkaroff, with a icy smile on his face, his blue eyes as cold as ice cubes, "There are two brave men at Hogwarts, and I don't know I remember someone told me that the host school can have two warriors, didn’t I read those regulations carefully enough?!”
He gave a short, ugly laugh.
"That's impossible!" said Madame Maxime, her big hand with many ornate opals resting on Fleur's shoulders. "It's not fair that Hogwarts can't have two warriors. Last time it was Evan Mason, it's him again this time, Hogwarts has provoked Beauxbatons again and again, you must give an explanation."
"Durmstrang also needs an explanation. In our impression, your age barrier can exclude underage competitors, Dumbledore!" Karkaroff said, still stern. With a cold smile, the chill in his eyes deepened, "I remember you said this on purpose, otherwise, we would definitely bring more candidates from our school."
"Please don't worry, we'll explain!" Dumbledore said gently, turning to look at Ron who was stupefied, "Mr. Weasley, did you throw your name into the Goblet of Fire?"
"No!" Ron shook his head hastily.
"Then have you asked your older classmates to help you put your name into the Goblet of Fire?" Dumbledore continued to ask.
"No, no!" Ron hesitated before stammering.
"He's lying!" exclaimed Madame Maxime.
"I didn't lie, I learned about this method from Ivan, but I, I didn't have a chance!" Ron panted, "We went to Hagrid, and I didn't put my name in the Goblet of Fire."
"Ivan?!" Everyone froze for a moment, "Ivan Mason?!"
Then, all their eyes turned to Ivan who had just walked in.
Ivan looked at them expressionlessly, and his eyes finally fell on Barty Crouch standing by the fire.
He stood there with his hands behind his back, his shadow stretched very long by the flames.
"Dumbledore, I remember you said that your magic is infallible." Karkaroff sneered, "It's really interesting that a child has cracked it now."
"The matter is already obvious, and this matter can only be blamed on Weasley and Mason, Karkaroff!" Snape said softly, with hostility shining in his black eyes, "It is obviously impossible for Weasley, who is empty-headed, to think of such a thing." But our Mr. Know-it-All is different. He has always been very smart, a bit too smart. Since he entered the school, he has been violating the school rules. I think our savior must have participated in this matter, but he didn’t was chosen"
"No, we didn't put names into the Goblet of Fire!" Harry cried, looking at Snape angrily.
"It's hard to say, you know the method, don't you, let me see"
"Severus!" said Dumbledore firmly.
Snape closed his mouth, but his eyes still gleamed maliciously through his greasy black hair. (To be continued.) Browse and read address:
