Chapter 587 Fire Dragon and Krum's Performance
Before Bagman said how he was going to help Ron, Ivan, Harry, and Hermione walked out of the bushes.
After separating from Ron, Ivan and the six of them first followed Professor McGonagall to the auditorium.
After asking Colin to help them get a good seat, Ivan, Harry, and Hermione sneaked back around the tent.
They were planning to wait until there was no one inside and trying to find a way to get in. Who knew that when they came here, they saw Bagman pulling Ron out.
"Why are you here?" Bagman said in surprise.
The next second, before they could explain, a whistle sounded somewhere on the field.
"God, I have to run!" Bagman said in a panic, and ran away regardless of the number of them.
"What did he ask you out for?" said Hermione, looking suspiciously at Bagman's back.
"He wanted to help me and was about to give me advice, but he was interrupted by you before he could say anything!" Ron replied.
"As long as you can complete the battle plan, you can pass the game, and you don't need other help at all!" Aiwen said, "This is not a glorious thing. The fewer people who know it, the better. By the way, the fire dragon you drew is What kind?"
"It's a Chinese fireball!" Ron said hurriedly, looking at Ivan impatiently, "Do you have any fire protection potions to deal with it?"
As we all know, the Chinese fireball is the only fire dragon in the east, also known as the lion dragon, and its main origin is in China.
Its appearance is particularly striking, with smooth scales of scarlet, a face with a snub nose surrounded by golden fringed spikes, and bulging eyes.
The fireball dragon's main attack method is flames, and when it is provoked, it can shoot mushroom-shaped fireballs from its nostrils.
This is its most powerful attack and is where the Chinese Fireball gets its name from.
Female fireballs are much smaller than males, and are not so aggressive by nature, and can tolerate the presence of other creatures.
Especially with the help of the potion prepared by Ivan, Ron didn't have to be afraid of its flame attack at all.
Relatively speaking, this is much less difficult than the Hungarian Horntail, the most dangerous dragon drawn by Harry in the original book.
Aiwen took out the potion to protect the flames of the Chinese fireball and handed it to Ron. The three of them gave a few worried words before returning to the auditorium separately.
At this moment, the auditorium was full of voices, and all the little wizards were cheering and screaming.
Five referees including Dumbledore, Mr. Crouch, Mrs. Maxime, Karkaroff, and Ludo Bagman sat on the central height chair.
Immediately afterwards, Ivan saw Sirius in the crowd. He was just below the referee's seat and was waving to them.
"Strange, why did Bagman offer to help Ron?" said Harry, greeting Sirius. "There's no reason for that, he's the referee..."
"Probably because of personal reasons!"
"Leave him alone, I really hope Ron can succeed!" Hermione said thoughtfully, staring blankly at the center of the field.
Krum had already stepped out of the tent, and opposite him was the blue Swedish Short-Snouted Dragon.
This dragon is the most beautiful of all fire dragons. It has a silvery blue appearance and can breathe dazzling blue flames from its nostrils.
But behind this beauty, there is indeed a palpitating power.
The blue flames were hot enough to reduce wood and bones to ashes in an instant.
In the Middle Ages, gloves and shields made of short-nosed dragon skin have always been sought after, and dragon skin products are the top equipment for all adventurers and wizards.
Because the value is so high, many people try to slay the dragon.
The vast majority of dragon slayers died without a burial, and their bones remained forever in the mountains of northern Sweden.
With its agile flying speed and scorching flames, the short-nosed dragon has both offensive and defensive capabilities, making it one of the most dangerous species in the world.
"Look at Krum, what is he doing!"
Krum came out of the tent and ran straight to the short-nosed dragon at the other end of the field.
The short-nosed dragon was crouching low, guarding its nest of eggs, its terrifying eyes fixed on the approaching Krum.
It let out bursts of shrill roars, warning Krum not to approach, and vigorously flapped its wings.
Krum didn't seem to notice it. He turned sideways and ran forward, getting very close to the fire dragon.
In the next second, the short-nosed dragon spewed out blue flames, and Krum hurriedly dodged to hide behind the stone.
Flame brushed past him, dangerously close, and all the little wizards focused on Krum.
Even in the auditorium far away, you can still feel the hot temperature.
The short-nosed dragon's blue flames were persistent, bobbing its head back and forth where Krum was hiding.
Under the high temperature, the stone was gradually melted, and it would not be a good end for Krum to continue hiding there.
He's finished, the thought came to everyone's mind!
Just as the dragon trainer was about to rush to save Krum, the flame led by the short-nosed dragon gradually died down.
It was breathing, and Krum took the opportunity to rush out.
The wand in his hand was aimed at the short-nosed dragon, and a spell flew out and hit the dragon's eye.
It's an eye disease curse! ! !
The short-nosed dragon let out a terrifying, earth-shattering scream, and the audience gasped in unison.
"Very daring, Krum's daring!" cried Bagman. "The dragon can't see, now... wait a minute, oh no!"
They saw the short-nosed dragon struggling crazily because of the pain, stomping back and forth, crushing half of the eggs behind it.
Krum's eye sickness spell was very powerful, causing the short-nosed dragon to lose his sight while feeling a heart-rending pain.
Ten seconds later, Krum dodged the aimless attack of the behemoth and got the golden egg from the nest behind it.
More than forty dragon trainers who were on standby outside the arena quickly rushed in to appease the crazy fire dragon.
"He did a good job!" Ivan commented objectively, "I really should let Ron take a look, the eye sickness spell used by Krum is simply a standard template, both the position and the timing of the cast are very good, it is worth it." Study. Ron only needs to be able to do half as well as him, and he can easily pass the fire dragon."
"Krum is really good, but his score will definitely not be high. He smashed all the real eggs. This will definitely deduct points. He shouldn't destroy those eggs." Hermione said, motioning everyone to watch Hagrid, who was helping out in the middle of the field.
Hagrid was helping Charlie and other dragon trainers save the crushed dragon eggs, with a distressed look on his face.
Sure enough, for Klum's performance, except for Karkaroff who gave 10 out of 10, the other four referees only gave 8 to 9 points. (To be continued.)
