Chapter 3 The Three Gods of the Sun Church
Seeing that Camus had come back to life, Harry decided to hand him over to the Sun Church for disposal. This unknown existence always brings big troubles. This is really a nasty thing. Every time I go to the Sun Church, I feel uncomfortable, and it also delays my time to smoke my pipe.
"Moon Elf, I don't care what you are. I decided to hand you over to the Sun Church for disposal. I hope you are lawful or neutral, otherwise the pain of the sun burning will make you live a life worse than death."
When Camus heard the church, he felt bad. Few of these things had good things in their previous lives. He didn't want to die. Thinking of this, Camus ran away.
Harry looked at Camus running away expressionlessly, and directly tore off the black robe on his body. He saw that half of his body was blue and black, and there was a black pentagram on his chest, and a circle emitting a strange light circled the pentagram.
"Yingyin of the underworld, please help me catch the escaped moon elf. My compatriots, the underworld is with you."
After saying that, Harry knelt on the ground in pain. The pentagram on his chest became as black as ink. The air in the cemetery suddenly became heavy. A wisp of white mist suddenly appeared on the ground, and soon it covered the sun. The air became cold. Camus looked at Harry behind him in horror.
"This... This is magic, this is a world with magic."
As soon as Camus finished speaking, pale human hands appeared under his feet and grabbed Dal's ankles tightly. No matter how Camus struggled, it was useless.
When Harry saw that Camus was caught, he wailed and climbed up and put on his clothes.
"Damn elves, I said no one can escape from the gravekeepers, not even one. This is such a painful experience. I need my pipe to relieve my pain."
Harry took out a rope from his pocket and came over to tie Camus up tightly. When the heroic spirit saw that Camus was caught, he let go of his hands. The mist around him gradually dissipated, and the sun gradually shone in.
Camus felt warm when the sun shone on him. He felt better when he was caught by those hands just now. A chill rushed from the soles of his feet to his brain, and his whole mind froze.
Harry looked up at Camus and knocked him over with a hoe.
"Damn moon elf, you should thank Harry for not being an evil sequence one, otherwise I would definitely stuff your sole into your head."
Camus was knocked over by a hoe, grimacing in pain, and felt better when he heard the goblin's voice. It seemed that he would not kill him, but would definitely take him to the Church of the Sun. He wished him good luck, but he was a genuine good person.
Seeing Camus lying still, Harry grabbed Camus' feet and dragged him out of the cemetery. Fortunately, there was moss all the way, so Camus didn't feel anything.
But as Camus dragged, he twitched his nose and smelled a foul smell coming from Harry in front of him. This stench penetrated Camus' heart, as if he had returned to a pile of corpses.
Harry felt the struggle behind him, turned around and saw the elf's uncomfortable look and smiled happily, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth.
"This is the price of power. We will be with souls for life. Sooner or later, I will be buried in this cemetery."
Camus closed his mouth when he heard it. The rope on his body was tied too perfectly, completely in line with human mechanics, and no matter how he struggled, it was useless.
After a while, Harry brought Camus to a black hut. There was a half-finished black coffin in front of the house. It was too dark to see what was inside the house. There was a carriage not far away, covered with white oak leaves. A black horse was tied not far away to rest. On the left was a muddy path with only wheel marks and horse hoof marks. It seemed that few people came here except Harry.
Harry also came out of the house at this time. He changed his clothes. He was wearing a gray-black sweater inside and a black leather armor outside. He was wearing a pair of deerskin shoes, a flat black hat on his head, a walnut cane in his hand, and a pipe in his mouth.
Seeing Camus staying where he was, Harry set up the carriage and threw Camus on it, smoking a pipe while driving.
Camus lay on the carriage, smelling the stench and looking at the black blood on the oak leaves. He struggled again and found that it was useless. He could only lie down and look at the surrounding scenery. Since he couldn't run, he would look at the scenery.
There were rows of tall trees on both sides of the muddy road, which seemed to be planted by humans. Behind the trees were some vegetable gardens. Because it was morning, the farmers had not come to the vegetable gardens yet.
Seeing these vegetable gardens, Camus probably knew that this place was very close to the city and should arrive in the city soon.
Sure enough, Harry drove the carriage onto a wide gravel road soon. There were some carriages on the road, and occasionally some luxurious carriages would pass by. On both sides of the road were some farmers going to the fields. They were humans, rabbit people, goblins, orcs, minotaurs, lion people, dog-headed people, werewolves... It looked like a hodgepodge of races. Camus looked at all this and his mouth twitched.
"Oh... It's really interesting. I don't know how they can coexist peacefully."
Harry took a puff of dry tobacco when he heard it, "Peaceful coexistence? "I guess so", Mr. Moon Elf is about to arrive in Caldic City. I hope you can still be so relaxed later. Enjoy the rest of your time. It must be an evil existence crawling out of the cemetery."
Camus calmly looked at the huge city with thick smoke not far away. Because the sky above the city was a little dark, some tall buildings stood in the city, such as buildings that looked like swords, triangular buildings, Gothic church buildings, etc. There were also airships floating in the sky, and the number of carriages on the road gradually increased. If it weren't for the various races coming and going, Camus would have thought he had returned to modern society.
When he arrived at the edge of the city, Harry drove the carriage into the carriage lane. There were maple trees on both sides of the carriage lane, and behind the trees were sidewalks and shops. Because it was morning, some citizens were reading newspapers and eating.
The houses on the entire street were built of marble, and the road was paved with bluestone slabs. A shop was located on the street, "Werewolf Masi's Bookstore", "Moshi Sea Monster Fresh Shop", "Cat Man Tailor Shop, Welcome", "Pigeon Man Moshisi's News House"...
Looking at these familiar store names, Camus blinked his eyes. If it weren't for the aliens and humans coming and going, he would have thought he had arrived in modern times.
In addition to some horse-drawn carriages on the road, there is also a kind of rail bus. Judging from the white smoke from the front of the car, it is steam-driven. Some citizens going to work are getting on and off the bus in an orderly manner.
In this way, Harry tied Camus to a church. This church is a Gothic church. The tall spire is towering into the sky. The gray-white walls are full of ancient atmosphere. There is also a golden sun shining in the middle of the building. There are several dome windows with complex patterns of colored glass on the tower. The main entrance of the church is three round arched doors, the largest in the middle, and the smaller ones on both sides. Some believers and prayers are coming and going.
There is a huge square in front of the church. There is a circular fountain in the center. As the water from his spray evaporates in the air and is hit by the sun, people are bathed in colorful light.
Seeing this place, Harry grabbed the rope and kicked the pipe into his arms. After tying the carriage, he led Camus to the church.
"Oh... a nasty place, this hot breath, it's really not a good place. I will never choose this place for a cemetery, it's terrible."
As the two walked, some citizens covered their noses and avoided them, standing by and pointing. The church's prayers also saw the two and came over to stop them.
"Mr. Gravekeeper of Sequence One, what's the matter?"
Harry's face darkened when he heard it, and he pulled Camus over, "There's a problem in my cemetery. An ordinary elf died and resurrected. I can't handle this trouble, so I'll leave it to you." Harry left quickly. This place made him really uncomfortable, and he didn't want to stay for another second.
Seeing Harry leave, the prayer looked at Camus, and without saying a word, he pulled Camus into the church.
After entering the church, Camus looked at the shadows on the ground, and when he looked up, he saw that the ceiling was full of colorful murals. The sun projected the patterns on the colored glass on both sides onto the ground. On both sides were some tall stone pillars, on which were carved three huge monsters. One was a golden bird with huge wings, with a blue gem on its head, looking down with its mouth open. One was a snake-like red monster wrapped around the stone pillar with no end in sight, and there was a cyan giant whose overall appearance could not be seen because the stone pillar was round.
Seeing Camus carefully observing the stone pillar, the praying man held his chest with a pious look.
"Moon elf, these are the three gods of the Sun Church, namely the Light Dragon "Ra", the Sky Dragon God "Osiris", and the Earth Giant God Soldier "Oberisk", who represent the power of the sun, the power of the sky, and the power of the earth respectively."
Camus was stunned when he heard these familiar names, and he said, "Is there also the Creator of Light..."
Camus wanted to spit out those words, but suddenly felt his soul excited, and goose bumps appeared all over his body. He fell to the ground and gasped for air for a while.
"Hu...Hu...Unknown existence, I have no intention of offending you, please forgive my sins."
Seeing Camus fall to the ground, the praying man pulled him up with a grim expression, "Only evil beings will tremble in fear under the Three Gods. I will hand you over to the Redeemer of Sequence Five and let him deal with you."
