The Decisive Battle Against the Third Reich

Chapter 1 Preface

With the sound of the noose, a "U" submarine covered with seaweed and aquatic creatures slowly surfaced in front of everyone. Several turtles and clownfish were salvaged together with the submarine. They obviously regarded the submarine as their home and were trying to escape from this "place of trouble" in a panic.

Qin Chuan took a few steps closer to look at the submarine, and his heartbeat accelerated involuntarily... He found that the submarine had no hull number, which seemed to explain the unique identity of the submarine.

Could it be the legendary "golden submarine"?

Qin Chuan was eager to know the answer, but the sealed and rusty hatch of the submarine forced him to wait for the welder to weld it open.

According to legend, at the end of the Nazi period in Germany, Hitler's regime gradually disintegrated, but Hitler was still unwilling to fail. He ordered the gold and other wealth collected by the Nazis for many years to be transported to a safe place for a comeback in the future. The submarine responsible for this task was the "golden submarine".

But not long after, the "golden submarine" mysteriously disappeared, and no one knew its whereabouts.

Until now...

"Professor!" The assistant shouted to Qin Chuan from a few meters away: "The door is almost welded!"

"Okay, I'll do it!" Qin Chuan responded.

Although Qin Chuan is only in his early twenties, he is a well-known archaeologist.

Unlike other colleagues, Qin Chuan is more obsessed with the history of Nazi Germany during World War II, which is one of the reasons why he is here.

"Bang!" The hatch opened.

The moment the hatch opened, Qin Chuan felt a surprise: a sunken ship that has been on the seabed for more than 60 years should have water in it anyway, but the sound of opening the hatch did not sound like that.

Qin Chuan raised the flashlight and shone it inside, and sure enough, his guess was verified... There was no water in the submarine cabin, and of course there was no mud, which made the structure inside the submarine clear under the light of the flashlight.

"How is this possible?!" Qin Chuan and his assistant looked at each other.

Then something even more surprising happened. The assistant threw the air measuring instrument into the boat, and the instrument showed that the oxygen content was as high as 50%.

At this time, the expedition team should have gone ahead to see if there was any danger, but Qin Chuan's strong curiosity prompted him to step onto the gangway without saying a word.

When Qin Chuan stepped into the cabin, he felt like he was in another world, a war world during World War II: all kinds of buttons that made people look mysterious and terrifying, messy tables and lockers, maps, pistols, and the corpses of German submarine soldiers in khaki uniforms... The postures they maintained told Qin Chuan that the soldiers in this submarine were ready for battle before they died.

But what happened?

What made these lives suddenly freeze at this moment in history?

The assistants searched every cabin and every locker with great anticipation, but Qin Chuan could see from the disappointment on their faces that they did not find what they hoped to find... gold.

Qin Chuan was not surprised by this, because submarines were not suitable vehicles for transporting gold... This was determined by the small load and small space of U-boats, so Qin Chuan believed from the beginning that the "golden submarine" was not carrying gold.

"Don't move!" An assistant wanted to turn over the body of a German soldier, but was quickly stopped by Qin Chuan.

Qin Chuan observed several corpses around him and found that their postures were all facing the direction of the control room, as if something had happened there.

With doubts, Qin Chuan quickly walked into the control room, where he found a special corpse... It was not wearing a military uniform.

Without much effort, Qin Chuan soon found that the key point was what he had in his hand.

Carefully wiped off the dust, and the two bronze medals revealed their true colors in front of Qin Chuan... No, it should be said that this is a medal, and those are two parts of a medal.

Qin Chuan's breathing became rapid: Is this the Führer Medal?

Impossible! The Führer Medal only exists in legends!

But looking at the two parts of this medal, one is engraved with Nazi's "swastika" character, and the other is Hitler's head, which is clearly the same as the description of the Führer Medal.

What kind of mysterious power does it have? !

Driven by curiosity, Qin Chuan carefully combined the two medals into one... nothing happened.

But Qin Chuan soon found out that he was wrong.

"Professor!"

"Professor!"

...

Qin Chuan heard the assistant's panicked cry, but he could not make any response. Gradually, his consciousness became more and more blurred...
