Chapter 87 Money
He walked out of St. Mungo's, met Kingsley at Corey's second-hand shop, and then changed his clothes and entered Knockturn Alley.
Podwood was indeed an excellent pimp. He recognized Xingze at a glance and immediately greeted him warmly.
"Guests from the East. Big Dog is not with you?" he asked.
"He was delayed by something."
"Well, welcome." Podwood's smile remained unchanged, "Do you need me to lead the way, sir?"
"I want to find Big Daddy."
"Uh." The dwarf's eyes turned, "Then come with me, I'll take you to see the corpse."
"Corpse?"
"Ah, didn't Big Dog mention it to you? That's Jack's nickname, we all call him that in private." Podwood made a face, "You know, because of his disgusting face."
The two smiled at each other and walked into the sweet home together. After avoiding the pull of several enthusiastic girls and bypassing several drunkards at the bar, Xingze met Jack in a small box.
"Aha, the paparazzi is back again." Jack sat on the leather sofa, "What? Isn't the old dog with you today?"
"I brought what the old man wanted." Xing Ze didn't say too much nonsense and greetings, and went straight to the point.
"So soon?"
"We are lucky."
"Really?" Jack stood up from the sofa, and his ugly mouth moved, "Let me see."
Xing Ze sneered and said, "This is what the big daddy wants." He deliberately emphasized the three words "big daddy".
Jack sank his face, glared at Xing Ze fiercely, and said, "Follow me."
He took the lead and walked out of the room, and bumped Xing Ze provocatively. When Xing Ze walked out of the room, the two wizards sitting at the bar quickly followed. The group came to the big daddy's room.
"I really didn't expect you to come here today. Why? Did you bring me some good news?"
"Yes." Xing Ze walked to his father's table and sat down, "I think you should have heard about the winery."
When this was mentioned, his father's cheerful face froze there. He glanced at the people around him. Except for the necessary guards and the girls kneeling on both sides, everyone else consciously walked out of the room.
"Indeed, I heard that the Aurors made a big move there. You were there too?"
Xing Ze nodded.
"Is that bastard with waxy face dead?"
"Dead."
"Dead dead?"
"One hundred percent, Dumbledore did it himself."
Big Daddy's eyebrows jumped, and he said, "I never thought that a rogue would alarm a legendary wizard. So, did you get it?"
"It took a lot of effort."
"Where's Big Dog?" Big Daddy was still a little suspicious, "Is he dead too?"
"No, he drank too much last night and is still sleeping."
"Haha, I knew that this kid's life is like a cockroach, and he won't die so easily. So what about the stuff?"
"I want to talk about the reward first."
Hearing this, the old man laughed, as if Xing Ze told a great joke, and the others in the room laughed along.
"Hahaha, kid, you are brave enough. You know we can kill you and take the stuff away."
"Can you?" Xing Ze smiled.
"Of course not." Dad waved his hand, "I'm a businessman, not a robber or a bandit. I'm trustworthy. Tell me, what do you want?"
"First, I need a drink?"
Dad gestured to a wizard: "Of course, what do you want?"
"Soda will do."
Dad's eyes fell on the crystal brooch on Xing Ze's chest, "Your thing is nice, where did you buy it?"
"A newly opened jewelry store in Glastonbury."
"After we finish our business, remember to tell me the address." Dad opened his hands and showed off the ring on his hand, "I'm in need of some nice crystal jewelry."
"Of course." Xing Ze took the soda.
"Well, let's get back to business. Let's talk about your reward first. I guess it's not as simple as money."
"I'm curious, Dad, why do you want the formula so much? I mean, your money is enough for you to spend three lifetimes, isn't it enough?"
"Hahaha, are you kidding me? Money is never too much. Money can bring power, money can bring status, money can bring anything in this world."
Probably to prove his theory, he reached out and pulled a girl over, and used the meat cleaver on the tray to cut the girl's cheek. The girl closed her eyes and bit her lips to avoid screaming.
The old man stopped the knife, pinched the girl's face, and admired the blood mark with satisfaction. Then he took off a ring and threw it on the tray.
"See, this is the advantage of having money." He said, loosening his hand. The girl shivered and shrank back, but her hands did not dare to let go of the tray.
"I understand." Xing Ze nodded, "The reward I want is very simple, I just want you to release those children."
The old man turned his head, looked at Xing Ze for a few seconds, then threw the knife on the table and said: "You mean the children of those prostitutes?"
"Yes."
"What's wrong with you?" The old man asked in disbelief, "Is it because of excessive love?"
Xing Ze shrugged and replied: "Maybe, my mother taught me to be philanthropic since I was a child."
"How about changing it?" The old man suggested, "I can't promise you this."
Xing Ze shook his head.
"Damn it. You have to understand one thing, boy. All the women here are my property. They all belong to me until they die. Their children belong to me too, and so do their children's children. You understand me. What do you mean?"
"It's clear that they are more like your personal property than a person."
"Ah, that's right, and I don't like others touching my personal property. If you want money, I can give you any amount."
Because as long as they are here, money can be made again. Xing Ze thought to himself. He thought for a moment and took out an old notebook from the ring.
"My asking price is quite high."
Dad opened his eyes wide and stared at the notebook, not paying attention to Xing Ze's rapid change of attitude.
He grinned, as if he had seen a delicacy in the world: "That's it, right? The waxy face's notes."
"That's right, but I can't understand the content inside. It's written in ancient Latin."
"You don't need to understand, give it to me, give it to me, boy, as much as you want." The father stretched out his plump hand, and the fat on his chin trembled with excitement.
Just when his hand was about to touch the book, Xing Ze suddenly became angry. He quickly took the knife from the table and stabbed the hand fiercely. Every movement was precise and every detail was just right.
The fat hand was nailed to the table. Then, Xing Ze threw the notebook towards the wizard behind him. The notebook turned into a cigar in the air. Jack reacted quickly and quickly stepped aside.
But the other wizards were not so lucky, and the cigar exploded, sending them all to hell.
Only then did Big Daddy scream, and the pain finally reached his brain. He wanted to pull out the knife, but Xing Ze grabbed his other hand and was nailed to the table with a pencil.
He howled in pain again, the fat on his face twisting together.
