The Evil God of Hogwarts

Chapter 91 A Leisurely Day

The next morning, Xing Ze came to the public office. Although he had no classes today, he had nowhere to go because the Ministry of Magic was still monitoring him, so he planned to kill time in the office.

If you want to say that the place with the most newspapers in Hogwarts is the Muggle Studies Office, it is probably. There are not only newspapers from the wizarding world, but also various Muggle newspapers. In addition to the Times, the Guardian, and the Daily Telegraph, there are also many scattered tabloids to read.

Xing Ze picked up a few valuable newspapers and read them. The three major newspapers reported the latest situation about the plague. After paying a painful price, the plague was finally effectively controlled, and the new drugs played a good healing role.

But Xing Ze understood that the last piece of debris had not been found, and everything was not over. As long as those lunatics wanted, they could still start another plague.

Ben walked into the office with his coffee cup. He asked Xing Ze, "Don't you have classes today? Why are you here so early?"

"Come and read the newspaper. Fourth-grade students need to understand the government agencies and social structures of Muggles. I plan to use this plague as an example."

Ben nodded in agreement, "Great idea, why didn't I think of it. Compared with the boring examples in the textbook, this plague is much more vivid. Remember to give me a copy when you get there."

"No problem."

"Since you are so free, do you want to go fishing in the afternoon, Xing Ze?" Ben poured himself a cup of strong coffee, "I found a good fishing spot."

"No, I have something to do in the afternoon."

"Well, your loss." He smiled, turned his head to look at the door, and asked, "Who are you looking for, kids?"

"We...we are looking for Mr. Xing Ze." A familiar voice sounded outside the door.

Xing Ze put down the newspaper and looked at the door, "Come in, the four of you."

Ben was happy. He moved his wand and the door opened wider: "How do you know it's four people?"

Harry, Neville, Ron and Hermione walked into the office. The four of them lowered their heads and slowly walked to Xing Ze.

"You are really not nice." Xing Ze said with a smile, "You actually ran away by yourself."

None of the four children dared to speak. Ron secretly glanced at Ben who was watching the show. Xing Ze shook his head and continued, "Don't do it again. There is a reason why it is called a restricted area."

"Won't you punish us?" Harry asked in a low and tentative voice.

"I think the thrilling experience last night should be enough for you guys."

"That's right." Ron laughed foolishly, and Hermione next to him nudged him with her elbow. Neville probably hasn't recovered from last night's experience yet, and he looks like he is wandering in the sky.

"Okay, kids, there will be no next time." Xing Ze said, but he thought there would definitely be a next time. "It's Professor McGonagall's job to punish you. I don't have the power to do so, and I don't like wasting time on such things."

"Have you told Professor McGonagall?" Hermione asked quickly.

"If you do it again, I'll consider it." Xing Ze replied seriously.

Neville suddenly woke up and shook his head repeatedly, saying, "No, no, there will definitely not be a next time."

After making the promise, Xing Ze asked the four people to go back to class. Ben smiled and asked, "What did they do wrong?"

"Just a few children who didn't go to bed on time." Xing Ze answered casually, and continued to pick up the newspaper and read it.

"Speaking of this, where have you been these nights?" Ben asked.

"What? What do you want to talk to me about?"

"It's nothing serious. Some young teachers will go to the Three Broomsticks in Hogmog to get together after dinner."

"Are you inviting me?"

"I mean, but I don't think you will go."

"Your feeling is very accurate, Ben."

"Okay, okay." Ben stuck out his tongue helplessly, "There are many young and beautiful girls there. You should really consider it."

"Maybe next time."

...

After lunch, Xing Ze strolled around the school. Today's weather was good, very suitable for fishing at noon. He began to regret not accepting Ben's invitation.

Hogwarts is big, so big that you can stroll around leisurely all day, so big that even the janitor Filch can't figure it out, and so big that it can hide many secrets.

He stayed by the Black Lake for a while. Several mermaid girls greeted him, a huge squid floated on the lake to bask in the sun, and some small fish monsters were playing on the shore.

Then, he went to sit in Hagrid's hut. The giant half-blood was very warm and hospitable.

He poured Xing Ze a cup of strong tea made of something unknown, and took out a few rock cakes as afternoon tea.

The hound Yaya was playing outside the house. It didn't seem to like Xing Ze very much. Every time Xing Ze came, it would run away.

Xing Ze tasted the strong tea, but didn't dare to touch the rock cakes. The tea tasted pretty good, as long as you could accept the strange sour taste.

"How do you have time to come here, sir?" Hagrid sat down next to Xing Ze in front of the hut.

"I don't have class today. You know, Muggle Studies class, there are not many students." Xing Ze said, looking in the direction of the Forbidden Forest.

"Ah, it's similar to the Care of Magical Creatures class." Hagrid smoothed his beard and picked up a rock cake.

"I'm curious about what's in there." Xing Ze asked.

Hagrid bit the rock cake and made a creaking sound. "Uh, you mean the Forbidden Forest? There are so many, centaurs, werewolves, and all kinds of magical animals and plants."

"No, I think there are other things, bad things." Xing Ze looked up at the raven flying back from the Forbidden Forest.

"There are a lot of bad things there, spiders, venomous snakes, leopards..." Hagrid said a lot at once.

Xing Ze shook his head, "No, that's not what I meant. Is there anything strange in the Forbidden Forest recently?"

"No, as far as I know. Oh, by the way, those centaurs, the centaurs living in the Forbidden Forest are a little restless."

"Huh?"

"They usually live deep in the Forbidden Forest and rarely get close to the edge of the forest, but recently, I often see them nearby."

"Didn't they communicate with you?"

"Centaurs? Communicate?" Hagrid took a big sip of tea and swallowed the rock cake in his mouth. "It's difficult for centaurs to communicate. Even I don't have much friendship with them after so many years here. But I know they must be worried about something."

The raven called a few times on the eaves. Xing Ze frowned, retracted his gaze and chatted with Hagrid for a while, then wandered back to school.

When passing by the courtyard, he saw Hermione sitting on the stairs leading to the library. Xing Ze thought about it and walked over.

"It's a nice day today, Miss Granger."

The shadow blocking the sun made the girl look up, she squinted her eyes to see what was coming, and then lowered her head again.

"I'm curious about what makes you look so sad in this weather." Xing Ze sat down on the stairs.
