Chapter 34 Wolf or Sheep?

"You should know that the orcs' coming-of-age ceremony is a very serious matter."

Nergo was chatting with his new Draenei friend, "After we are stained with the blood of the first beast we hunted, we must find a wise elder to complete the trial."

"Fortunately, the rain that day did not wash away my blood." Nergo complained helplessly: "I don't even dare to wash my face these days."

"Are you just looking at the blood?"

Nergo looked at her helplessly, "Yes, but just in case, I also brought back the wolf skin and wolf head."

"Maybe the wolf fang can make me a necklace?" Nergo said.

However, since they were about to reach their destination, Nergo didn't think too much, but just told the Draenei caravan: "You should have heard of orcs, but my people are more..."

Nergo rubbed his forehead and thought for a long time before he thought of a word to describe them: "warlike."

"I hope you don't show too much weakness, it's best to fully show the strength in your heart." Nergo said.

"This will make them more receptive to you, which will help us in our subsequent contacts."

There is no way, orcs have this kind of personality. If you are a good person, orcs may not like you, but if you are an iron-fisted tyrant, then nine out of ten orcs will worship you.

Otherwise, why would Garrosh become the idol of most orcs in the future?

The education that young orcs received since childhood has made them engrave the words of bellicosity and brutality in their bones.

Garrosh is even more of a war maniac. The war spread from Kalimdor to the Eastern Kingdoms and even to Pandaria, and the Horde's Kor'kron troops fought everywhere.

The orcs worship heroes, and Garrosh's father Grommash engraved his name in the history of the Horde by ending the demon curse. He himself has the honor of successfully fighting the Lich King in the north.

This has led to the Hellscream family winning the respect of most orcs.

"Understand." Thordoan is also an old... middle-aged Draenei, and he knows a lot about orcs.

You'd better really understand.

Nergo thought, otherwise he would have to find a way to convince his tribesmen.

Soon, Nergo saw the canyon where Grommash was.

"Come on, we're almost there." Nergo said loudly.

"Fortunately everything went well." Sodoan smiled.

"This is just the beginning." Nergo said helplessly.

It's not just the beginning. Don't just say you want to establish trade relations with this group of Germans, and then you get kicked out.

That's really fun.

Grommash has arrived.

It's still the same as before, and even the patrolling guards are people he knows.

Suddenly, several arrows shot on the ground in front of him.

"Stop!" Not long after, several orc sentinels came out from the side, and the leader immediately came over to check who it was.

"It's me." Nergo didn't worry about anything and directly revealed his identity. A small whirlwind rose in his hand and said, "Nergo, I just completed the coming-of-age ceremony."

"Shaman?" The sentinel immediately saluted respectfully. He was not afraid of being impersonated. Nergo's iconic sky-blue eyes had long been known in the Warsong Clan.

And as a shaman, it was natural for them to be so respectful.

"But these Draenei..." He was alert.

"They are a caravan, I brought them back." Nergo waved his hand, "I'm going to see Chief Hellscream."

"Yes." Several sentinels responded and returned to their original positions, leaving only one sentinel to report to the chief about the Draenei caravan.

And Nergo and the Draenei were waiting here.

Not long after, the sentinel came back and brought news from the chief.

"The chief said to let you in, and there are these Draenei."

"This way." Nergo nodded and led the group of Draenei straight to Grommash's throne.

Not to mention that along the way, many orcs reacted to the Draenei with a look of vigilance on their faces.

When they arrived in front of Grommash, Nergo hadn't spoken yet, but he heard Grommash say, "If I remember correctly, you went to attend the coming-of-age ceremony?"

"Yes, I hunted a Nagrand Prowler." Nergo said proudly.

"Not bad." Grommash nodded and ordered the shaman next to him to check the blood on his face.

Fortunately, Nergo was a shaman, otherwise the blood would have stank on him after the journey of the past few days.

"Chief, it's wolf blood." The shaman shouted.

This made Grommash even more satisfied, "Very good, but why do you always bring a few strangers back to the clan every time you go out?"

His eyes swept over the Draenei, but they didn't speak.

Nergal said, "These draenei brought goods that the clan can't refuse."

"How can they be refused?" Grommash snorted, "I don't like those shiny little things."

"But what if I say it's weapons?" This time Nergal used the unique dialect of the Warsong clan, which was difficult for even the Burning Blade clan to understand, let alone these draenei.

Grommash understood what he meant and replied in dialect, "Speak your mind."

"The Draenei have advanced technology, and we can find ways to use them." Nergo made his point clear and expressed his thoughts: "Establish a relationship with them, learn their advanced technology, and finally, just like the Burning Blade Clan, find a way to pull them onto our chariots."

Gromash nodded, but he also had doubts, "How do you ensure that they will not pose a threat to the clan?"

"Thunder elephants may pose a threat to the Talbuk, but will they do it intentionally?" Nergo asked back: "I have learned about their society. At least for now, they have no ambitions for us, and if we don't learn their advanced knowledge, then even if they attack us, we have no good way to deal with it."

"And my idea is to first allow free trade with the Draenei, deepen their relationship with the clan, and then find a way to send shamans, laborers, blacksmiths and other orcs to their cities to study..."

"If the Warsong Clan wants to pursue greater achievements, it can't stand still."

Nergo said a lot, and Grommash was listening carefully.

It is hard to imagine that Grommash, who is known for his impatience, would show his patience.

But it is not difficult to understand.

Why does the Draenei threat theory exist?

It is because their strength has caused panic among the orc clans.

And if this panic of the Draenei is properly guided, it can also turn into a yearning for their strength.

Learning from the strong and becoming strong is never a shameful thing in the orc clans.

Grommash thought for a moment, and finally agreed with Nergo's idea, but his pride as the chief of the Warsong made him unable to accept the fact that he was the weak side. He was not afraid of the Draenei, but it did not mean that he did not want to get the advantages that the Draenei might have. "They are thunder elephants, but we are not just weak sheep. We are black wolves who are good at learning from the strong."

"Just do as you say, and start by doing business with them first." Grommash said.
