Chapter 32 Draenei and Orcs

"What did our ancestors look like?" Nergo was a little curious.

The life span of orcs is not as long as that of Draenei. In the past two hundred years, at least ten generations of orcs have passed. Of course, this does not mean that an orc will die of old age in his twenties or thirties, but the environment of Draenor and the customs of the orcs make it difficult for them to see the day when they are old.

Almost all orcs think about what kind of glorious sacrifice they will get, and Nergo is no exception.

Moreover, he knows that death is not the end, but the starting point of life in the new world.

"Your ancestors?" Sodoan thought for a while, "When we first came to Draenor." He seemed to remember something and explained: "We call this world Draenor."

"I have heard of this saying." Nergo said, "My mentor and many of his other students also know the name Draenor."

"It sounds good." He added.

"Do you like this name too?" Thordoan was delighted: "That's great."

"We love this land, but I never thought that one day the orcs would call it Draenor like us." Thordoan's voice is very special, or the voices of the Draenei are all like this, which makes people feel comfortable and feel their kindness.

Looking at Thordoan who was a little dazed, Nergo did not interrupt his meditation.

After a while, he shook his head, "Sorry, I was a little distracted."

"It doesn't matter." Nergo said: "There are also many old people in our clan who miss the past from time to time."

"Old man?" Thordoan was stunned for a moment, and then said: "I'm still young."

"Outrageous longevity." Nergo muttered silently, and this happened to be heard by Thordoan.

"I believe you will live a long life." He looked into Nergo's eyes, and this caring look that seemed to look at the younger generation made Nergo a little uncomfortable.

"I never thought about living that long." Nergo said, "In the tradition of our clan, no, our race, a true warrior should die on the battlefield."

"How can a real man die of old age in bed?" Nergo snorted.

He would either be immortal or die on the battlefield, and he would never die of old age.

"You are really like them." Sodoan looked Nergo up and down and said.

"With whom?"

"With your ancestors."

"When we first came into contact with you, you were very repulsive to us, and there were some conflicts between us."

"But later, perhaps we won the respect of your people, and we returned to peace." Sodoan smiled, "And we began to understand you."

"Warrior but not bloodthirsty, every warrior is brave and brave, although a little rough, but there are also wise men." Sodoan seemed to want to pat him on the shoulder, just like treating his own people, but he was afraid of causing Nergo's hostility, so he had to give up.

Retracting his outstretched hand, he said, "But no matter what, we all know that you are a resilient race."

Nergo listened carefully to Sodoan's story about what happened when they first came to this world, and he also knew something about the conflict between the Draenei and the orcs.

At first, the arrival of the Draenei caused displeasure among the ogres. They were dissatisfied with the Draenei's building of cities in the ruins of the ancient capital of the empire, and they started a war because of their greed for the glory of the Draenei.

But the army formed by the ogre leader Hokron was vulnerable to the Draenei. The leader of the Draenei, Velen, let them go, but it attracted the attention of the orcs.

The news that the ogres returned in defeat soon spread all over the world. The arcane and sacred magic mastered by the Draenei first surprised the orcs, and then they had doubts.

At the Kersharg Festival held that year, the atmosphere between the orc clans was unprecedentedly tense. Some clans proposed to avoid any contact with the Draenei, while others were determined to treat them as enemies. If they dared to trespass into the orcs' territory, they would make these strangers suffer. In the eyes of the orcs, the Draenei's contempt for the ogre army just showed their weakness. Several orc chieftains even concluded that the Draenei were timid and afraid of strong enemies.

The various clans failed to reach a consensus at the Kashharg Festival and returned to their respective territories with uneasiness. After all, the Draenei had never shown any intention to invade the orcs, and most clans were willing to keep their distance from them.

Only the Bladewind Clan chose to attack the Draenei, and as a result, many Draenei and orc hybrids like Lantresor were born.

Nergo didn't know what to say. Apologize? But it seemed too hypocritical. The Bladewind Clan had nothing to do with their Warsong Clan, and his clan had always kept a distance from the Draenei.

Ignore it? Pretend that this history does not exist?

Perhaps seeing Nergo's entanglement, Sodoan patted him on the shoulder, and Nergo did not resist.

"It's all over." He comforted: "You don't have to blame yourself, it's not your fault."

"Thank you for your comfort." Nergo said: "It was a conflict that should not have happened."

"The prophet Velen also thinks so. He doesn't like war and hopes that we can coexist peacefully."

"If one day my prestige can surpass all clans, then I will definitely declare that the orcs and the Draenei will be at peace forever." Nergo said seriously.

This tone even made the Draenei who were listening to their conversation chuckle.

Can you imagine the scene when you hear a child say that the two countries will always be at peace?

That's what Nergo thought in their eyes.

But no one said anything sarcastic, and many people even appreciated his idea.

As for whether this is Nergo's true idea?

He has not forgotten the disaster that Draenor will face in the future.

To deal with those demons, the orcs alone cannot do it, unless he can bring in the monthly card war god.

But the fact is that he has neither the system nor the help of players, and he doesn't even have the blackfuse technology like Garrosh.

So if he wants to turn things around, he can only rely on the advanced knowledge of the Draenei to help the orcs rise quickly.

If the Draenei join the Horde, then this is of course the best peace for the orcs.

The Draenei of the Horde, how pleasant it sounds.

"I believe you." Thordoan looked into his eyes and said, "Sky blue eyes, if I remember correctly, does it have a special meaning in your race?"

"I thought you Draenei only knew how to look at skulls." Nergo said.

"Phrenology is indeed a wonderful science, but I didn't think you would know about it."

"Then how do you look at my face?" Nergo asked seriously.

Whether it is divination or prophecy, or those methods in the previous life that were classified as feudal superstition, they are not guaranteed to be effective in this world.

Sing the song on the mountain.

You can't just cross over to the mythological world, and then you accuse him of feudal superstition when he worships the gods?

It's not advisable.

"You?" I don't know how Sodoan saw it, he just looked at his head for a while, "This face can do great things!"
