Chapter 519 A Battle without Any Suspense
Ten versus three, if three people from the Ministry of Magic fight against one, one person will still be rich. Unfortunately, combat power is not calculated that way.
Ada alone can defeat them all, Sergei and another man named Sidorov are just insurance and are used to support the situation.
It can be said that the sudden appearance of Sergey and Sidorov made the situation on the Auror side take a turn for the worse. Especially people from Siberia feel very oppressive towards people from the British Isles. This is even more evident among the fan base.
Delis was hiding in the Ministry of Magic and was closely protected by his colleagues, not giving Ada a chance to attack. Suddenly Delis wanted to go home to get his clothes and break away from his protection. This intention was too obvious, who would believe it.
Now that she knows this is a trap, Ada will naturally not fall for it. She can bite the bait, but she will not take the bait.
So Ada arranged for Sergei and Sidorov to ambush, while the other three people stayed on the outside to provide support, and at the same time they were responsible for blocking enemy reinforcements.
Although Ada has helpers, Scrimgeour is still tough. He is an Auror who has experienced the darkest period of the British wizarding world. There are only two more people, which cannot scare Scrimgeour.
"Drizzt, even if the Ministry of Magic is at fault, what right do you have to take away the lives of those Aurors?" Scrimgeour said, "Put down your wand and don't let your men lose their lives because of you."
While observing the position of the Aurors present, Ada said: "I said, I admit my crime, but you don't have the ability to judge me. Who can blame you?"
After speaking, Ada took the lead and struck Scrimgeour with a stun spell.
At the same time, Sergei and Sidorov also took action. The two of them worked together to hold back the five Aurors and prevent them from joining the team besieging Ada. Here Ada is surrounded by five people, including Scrimgeour and Delis, one against five.
Aurors are wizards selected from the best in the magical world. They may not be experts, but they are definitely not rotten fish. This was also the reason why Fudge dared to suppress Dumbledore, because he was the minister and because he controlled most of the Aurors in the ministry.
Amelia Bones is attacking the position of minister, and Fudge is not idle either. He is trying every means to evade the director of the Department of Legal Enforcement. This is similar to how many emperors would guard against their princes.
But in being obsessed with the struggle for power, Fudge forgot that they were wizards, the vastness of magic, and the insignificance of life. The Ministry of Magic has stayed away from the wizarding war for so long that they have forgotten who the ceiling of the wizarding world is.
Today, Ada will make them understand that in the face of absolute personal strength, those machinations are just an extremely unfunny joke.
With one against five, Ada had the advantage, one person suppressing five people.
It was as if there was an invisible barrier around her. The attacks by Scrimgeour and others could not cause any harm to her, and every time Ada cast an offensive spell, it would cause the Aurors to panic.
In this siege, Ada surrounded them all by herself. The Aurors were driven into a panic by her, but Ada herself didn't blush, breathless, and even her hair was not messed up.
Precise, elegant, and calm, every step Ada took, every movement and amplitude of her wand waving, seemed to be measured. Ada shuttled between the five people, as if she was in a deserted place.
There was a flash of red light, and an Auror fell to the ground. This man was not very old, and his ability to become an Auror showed that he was excellent, but he was easily knocked down by Ada's coma spell.
Another spell light lit up, followed by a wand that flew far away. The Auror who lost his wand wanted to get his weapon back, but before he could move, vines sprouted from the ground.
These vines grew wildly and tied up the Auror in just a few seconds, making him lose the ability to resist.
The two of them were defeated in an instant, but Ada had no intention of stopping. She hit Delis with a series of spells, including stun spells, disarming spells, and crushing spells.
These spells caused Delis to be in a hurry, and Scrimgeour had to give up the attack and instead help Delis to resist.
It was this gap that gave Ada a very short one-on-one opportunity. Ada wasted no time and knocked out the other Auror with a stun spell.
Less than three minutes into the game, if it was a duel, this might still be the time when both sides were testing, but Ada had already knocked down three people. Now, only Scrimgeour and Delis were left around Ada.
To be appreciated and trusted by Fudge, and to be praised by Dumbledore, Delis was indeed an excellent Auror. But when facing wizards at the level of Dumbledore, Voldemort, and Ada, excellence is far from enough.
Scrimgeour is the director of the Auror Office. Anyone who can achieve this position has two skills. He is also the most capable of the people who ambush Ada. But when facing Ada, even Scrimgeour, who was tough and refused to admit defeat, was powerless and he really couldn't beat her.
Among the five, only Scrimgeour could cause some trouble for Ada. Delis was slightly behind him, and the three who were already lying down were all in vain.
This is when Ada has no murderous intention. If she did, the ashes of Scrimgeour's five people would be refined by now.
After blocking Ada's attack, Scrimgeour and Delis once again joined forces to fight back. None of the five of them could hurt Ada even a hair, let alone the two of them now.
Ada waved her wand three times in a row. The first time was to defend against the attacks of Scrimgeour and Delis, the second time was to cast a flame, and the third time was to set off a gust of wind.
The wind helped the fire, and the fire burned stronger and stronger. Ada turned around and ran to the other side of the small garden without even looking at it.
The battle at the other end of the small garden has entered a fierce stage, with spells flying out from different wands one after another. The game was much more exciting than Ada's.
Sergey and Sidorov have known each other for many years, and both have been trained by Vader, so they can be said to have rich experience in actual combat. Although they did not have an advantage in numbers, these two men only defended but did not attack, as if they were wearing turtle shells, and the staff of the Ministry of Magic just couldn't tear them open.
Only when the Aurors wanted to support Scrimgeour would one of Sergei or Sidorov attack and tell them to come back. If it hadn't been for Ada's words, Sergey and Sidorov's temperament would have turned their heads into dogs by now.
The sudden appearance of Ada caught the Aurors off guard. In the blink of an eye, all five of them were lying on the ground, losing their ability to resist.
Only a few minutes have passed since the battle started, but this battle can already be declared over.
The three of Ada walked towards Scrimgeour and Delis, who had just extinguished the flames released by Ada.
The numerical advantage was suddenly reversed, and the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic lost their only advantage, from ten against three to two against three.
"It seems that you can't take me back to the Ministry of Magic today, Mr. Scrimgeour." Ada said. As she spoke, Sergei and Sidorov walked to the other side, separating Scrimgeour and Delis.
Scrimgeour looked at his colleagues lying on the ground. Some were knocked unconscious, and some were tied up like rice dumplings. He is the director of the Auror Office and the direct leader of the Aurors, but the performance of the Aurors today disappointed him, and Scrimgeour's face was so painful.
"Justice may be late, but it will not be absent. You will pay the price for your wanton killing." Scrimgeour's eyes were still sharp, but the fire-torn robe on his body showed the outcome.
"I don't know what justice is in your heart, I only know mine," said Ada. "Victory is justice, Mr. Scrimgeour."
Scrimgeour closed his eyes. He didn't want to argue with Ada anymore, so he didn't say a word. He said: "Go ahead, we are no match for you."
"Do it? No, no, you understand wrong, Mr. Scrimgeour," said Ada. "Only one person will die in this garden today."
After saying that, Scrimgeour heard a "bang" behind him. He quickly looked back and saw that Delis had fallen to the ground, lifeless.
First, he was defeated and annihilated, and then Delis was killed in front of him, which made Scrimgeour very angry. Scrimgeour's eyes were splitting, and he wanted to fight to the death with Ada.
But before Scrimgeour could recite the spell, he heard a snap of his fingers, and then felt a light touch in his hand, and the wand disappeared. With his wand taken away, Scrimgeour immediately turned to Ada, and sure enough, his wand was in her hand.
"I don't mean to humiliate you, Mr. Scrimgeour, I just want to ask you to pass a message to me." Ada said, "When you get back, please tell Cornelius Fudge and ask him to wash his neck and wait for me."
Ada flipped her hand, and the wand flew straight towards Scrimgeour as if it was guided with precision, and inserted it into Scrimgeour's pocket under his surprised gaze.
"By the way, there's one more thing." Ada continued, "If you still choose the wrong side next time, I can't guarantee that I will be as kind as I am today. After all, I am a 'violent and murderous' person."
