Chapter 625 New Enlightenment, Using My True Qi to Harmonize with the Creation of Heaven and Earth
After leaving the Great Shangqing Palace, bidding farewell to his uncle and Aunt Lan, Zhang Zhiwei walked slowly towards the Tianshi Mansion.
At this moment, it was midnight, the sun was setting, and he was walking on the winding mountain road.
Zhang Zhiwei had walked this somewhat rugged path many times. In the past, he thought it was ordinary and did not pay much attention to it. He came and went in a hurry.
But today, he paid attention to the scenery on the roadside, the dogtail grass, dandelions, and sparse trees on both sides of the path.
The hill opposite the path near Shangqing Town was bare. People from the town often went there to chop firewood. There were no dead leaves or hay on the ground. The woodcutters would pick them up and use them as kindling.
Only after leaving the hometown several times will you remember its beauty. Zhang Zhiwei is no exception. He went down the mountain several times and entered the world several times. He saw the lights and wine of the Magic City and the intrigues of Liaodong, and then he knew the tranquility and peace on the mountain.
Along the way, occasionally you can see people meditating on the flat rocks around. They are practicing the Golden Light Mantra and tempering their own lives.
For ordinary people, the most important thing in practice is tranquility. Zhang Zhiwei is the chief disciple of this generation, and people compliment him wherever he goes.
In order not to disturb his fellow disciples in practice, and to enjoy the mountain scenery quietly, he adjusted his spine, controlled his own Qi, entered a state of unity between man and nature, made his Qi undetectable, and walked on the mountain path as if no one was around.
Walking on this mountain path that seemed ordinary in the past gave Zhang Zhiwei a completely different feeling. Inexplicably, he felt very empty in his heart. This was a very quiet feeling.
Different from the quietness he had achieved in the past by relying on the realm of quietness, this kind of quietness was given to him by the environment, not his quiet heart, but the quietness around him.
But this kind of quietness is not deeply felt by those who are impetuous in their hearts, and those who are quiet in their hearts and focus on themselves are also not deeply touched.
Only those who can feel the quietness of themselves and the quietness of heaven and earth can feel the deepest.
In this atmosphere, his thoughts were clearer than ever. He had to rush back to his room to think about the sage's way before, but now he had a new experience, new ideas, and a new path.
"Or maybe it can't be called a new path. There is nothing new in the world. What you have realized may have been realized by others thousands of years ago."
Zhang Zhiwei said to himself in his heart, looked up at the sky, and found that the sun had already set while he was in a daze, and it was already night.
Longhu Mountain at night is also a different scenery. Many ancient buildings are glowing under the moonlight.
The air is filled with a faint smell of incense and candles. In the distance, you can hear the faint sound of chanting and the sound of the bell, and in the near distance, you can hear the sound of insects.
Zhang Zhiwei closed his eyes, and the Qi in his body surged, making the sympathy between himself and the world deeper.
People have patterns, and the world they live in also has patterns. People are in the world all the time. If the pattern of people and the pattern of the world are integrated, it is the unity of man and nature.
But everyone knows that the unity of man and nature is good, but few people can achieve it. It requires the unity of mind and intention, intention and Qi, Qi and God, and then man and nature.
The unity of mind and intention is already difficult, and the unity of Qi and intention is even more difficult. There are even fewer people who can control Qi according to their own will, and there are even fewer people who have their own Tao in Qi, let alone the unity of man and nature.
This is a mysterious realm, which is difficult to explain and can only be understood. It is difficult for ordinary practitioners to achieve it in their lifetime. Even Zhang Zhiwei has experienced a tortuous and difficult road to reach this realm.
At this moment, he stood in this Longhu Mountain, looked up at the starry sky, and sat cross-legged on the ground. He did not think about what the missing part of the Qingxuan method was. Instead, he remembered a Taoist saying from the time of Zu Tianshi - with my true Qi and the creation of heaven and earth.
"To combine my true Qi with the creation of heaven and earth, this is undoubtedly the ability of the saint stealer who absorbs the power of heaven and earth. This true Qi does not only refer to Qi. The birth of a person is derived from the differentiation of essence, energy and spirit from the innate Qi. This true Qi should refer to the Qi of the three talents."
People have three talents, namely essence, Qi and spirit.
The earth has three talents, namely water, fire and wind.
The sky has three talents, namely the sun, moon and stars.
"The Qi of the three talents, the saint stealer, the saint way!"
Zhang Zhiwei seemed to have some feelings, and silently recited these two words in his heart. Although there is only one word difference, there is a world of difference.
Whether it is Qingxuan's immortal soul method, or the six-storehouse immortal thief in the eight strange skills, or the more shallow stepping on the Gang step, no matter how magical they are, how great the effect is, they are just saint stealing methods, "stealing" rather than "Tao".
But Zhang Zhiwei realized a hint of the meaning of "the Way of the Sage" from Qingxuan's "The Sage Thief".
"The Way of the Sage is an extraordinary way, which seizes the creation of heaven and earth and invades the mystery of the sun and the moon!"
Zhang Zhiwei said to himself, he remembered that his master had asked him to go to the Daozang Hall to read "Journey to the West" when he was free.
"Journey to the West" has been passed down to this day, with many versions and different opinions.
Although the content of "Journey to the West" collected in the Daozang Hall is similar to the version circulated outside, the text is more obscure.
Zhang Zhiwei also took a special look at the author, and it was not written on it, but Qiu Chuji.
Many people's impression of Qiu Chuji is from the Legend of the Condor Heroes. The Seven Sons of Quanzhen can only tie with the Five Wonders, and their strength is ordinary.
But in fact, the real Qiu Chuji is much more powerful than the one in The Legend of the Condor Heroes. He is the founder of the Quanzhen Longmen School.
The Longmen Sect is the most adept sect in Taoism at cultivating nature and life. It advocates abandoning all heterodox methods and only cultivating nature and life. For example, Lu Linglong, the granddaughter of Lu Jin in later generations, is a member of the Quanzhen Longmen Sect.
At the same time, he was also a disciple of Wang Chongyang. Wang Chongyang and Liu Haichan were called the Five Ancestors of Quanzhen. Liu Haichan's disciple was Zhang Boduan.
It can be said that Qiu Chuji and Zhang Boduan were of the same generation. Even in terms of life practice, Qiu Chuji was even better than Zhang Boduan.
Moreover, Qiu Chuji and Genghis Khan were from the same period. Genghis Khan conquered the world and killed a lot of people. He traveled thousands of miles to meet Genghis Khan. He stopped the killing with one word and saved tens of thousands of lives.
Because Qiu Chuji was born in the year of the dragon and Genghis Khan was born in the year of the horse, this meeting was called the meeting of the dragon and the horse in history.
Genghis Khan, needless to say, was a rare king who could unify the world. The blood he left behind still had incredible power after hundreds of years.
Qiu Chuji could make this person treat him with courtesy and change his mind. How could he be a person who got his reputation in vain?
Zhang Zhiwei had of course carefully read the works he left behind, although the words used in them were extremely obscure and mysterious, and ordinary people could not understand them at all. Even if they understood them, they would only treat them as the plot of a novel.
With Zhang Zhiwei's ability to comprehend, it was impossible for him not to understand them, but many of the principles in them were too simple, and he had already understood them, so they had little impact on him.
He also only regarded some very mysterious things as rhetoric in novels, such as "I will return to Buddhism with my whole life in my old age" and "I want to leave the world" and other mysterious words.
But at this moment, those mysterious words suddenly appeared in his mind, and the originally obscure sentences gradually became clear.
"In Journey to the West, the monkey sought the method of immortality. After Bodhi Patriarch taught him, he said that although he had gained immortality and maintained his youthful appearance, he could not escape the 'three disasters'."
"The first disaster is thunderstorm, which means that thunder will suddenly strike you from heaven and earth."
"The second disaster is fire. This fire is not heavenly fire, nor is it ordinary fire, but Yin fire. This fire starts from the Yongquan acupoint and goes straight through the Niyuan Palace. The five internal organs are turned into ashes, the limbs are all rotten, and all cultivation is illusory."
"The third disaster is windstorm. This wind is not the southeast, northwest wind, the warm and fragrant Jinshuo wind, nor the flower, willow, pine and bamboo wind. It is called crow wind, which blows from the fontanelle on the top of the head into the six internal organs, through the dantian, through the nine orifices, and the bones and flesh disappear, and the body disintegrates."
"Although these three disasters sound mysterious, if you think about it carefully, they are nothing more than thunder, fire and wind, and among the five elements, water produces thunder, which means that the three disasters are actually the three talents."
"It is said in Journey to the West that you can survive if you avoid the three disasters, but can you really avoid them? But the three disasters repeat themselves and overlap. The longer you avoid them, the more terrible they become. You must use special methods to deal with them."
"In Journey to the West, the monkey learned the seventy-two transformations to avoid the three disasters, but from the subsequent story, it is better to say that he faced the three disasters directly rather than avoiding them. He was struck by lightning and burned by fire in the heavenly palace. Aren't these the three disasters?"
"In other words, if you want to live forever, avoid the three disasters, and become immortal, it is not enough to just absorb the essence of heaven and earth. You must face the three disasters directly, that is, the qi of the three talents of heaven and earth."
Zhang Zhiwei's mind flashed with thoughts. He still remembered that when he traveled to the Lu family to attend the birthday of Old Master Lu, his master had asked him about his path. He said that he did not want to be a walker, but a great sage, who would overturn the tripod with force and be violent as the sky.
What is a great sage? A great sage is one who can withstand the three disasters.
With this thought, Zhang Zhiwei stepped on the ground, and he became one with the heaven and earth, and tried to let his own three talents touch the three talents of heaven and earth.
However, because his Saint Thief still had a layer of membrane that had not been broken through, even though the heaven and man had communicated, there was no real bridge to communicate between heaven and earth.
Therefore, his action could not really touch the three talents of heaven and earth and cause the three disasters.
After all, how fragile is one's own essence, qi, and spirit? How powerful is the water, fire, and wind of heaven and earth? The degree of danger of the combination of the two can be imagined? Otherwise, why is it called the three disasters?
The scene of being struck by lightning during the last practice is still vivid.
Zhang Zhiwei just likes to do things simply and directly, so he gives people a feeling of recklessness, but in fact, he is not reckless at all, and most of the time he is very smart.
Just like now.
Under the communication between heaven and man, not long after, thunder shook in the sky, dark clouds were dense, and thunder magma rolled inside, as if it was about to thunder and rain.
"Is it going to rain, or is it because of me?"
Zhang Zhiwei observed the sky, and felt an inexplicable throbbing in his heart. He had a feeling that the thunder was coming for him.
With this thought, Zhang Zhiwei continued to communicate with heaven and man. Although he did not touch the Qi of the three elements of heaven and earth, the sound of thunder also sounded in his body, reflecting the thunder in the sky, singing and responding, as if it was synchronized.
Because the thunder in the sky covered the thunder in Zhang Zhiwei's body,
Soon, the thunder light was extinguished, and heavy rain poured down.
The disciples of Longhu Mountain who were practicing outside, one by one, opened the Golden Light Mantra to isolate the rain and returned to the Tianshi Mansion.
And Zhang Zhiwei was not in a hurry. Walking in the heavy rain, he did not use the Golden Light Mantra to avoid the rain. Just between his breaths, the rain that fell on him automatically slid down without any effort, and would not wet his clothes.
In the past, when he dealt with this kind of scene, he would either use golden light to block the rain like other brothers, or use strength to shake the rain away. No matter which one, it was a confrontation with the outside world, which could not be considered as following the laws of nature.
But now, Zhang Zhiwei was just following the flow, a subtle state of harmony between man and nature, his body was like a lotus leaf, pure and flawless.
In the heavy rain, Zhang Zhiwei walked casually, he seemed to merge with the entire rain curtain, thunder rumbled in the sky, and tree-branch-like thunder kept flashing in the clouds, wanting to strike someone, but without a specific target.
Less than a minute later, Zhang Zhiwei's mind moved and he exited the state of heaven-man communication. The thunder in the sky suddenly stopped, the heavy rain stopped, the dark clouds dissipated, and the moon reappeared.
The whole rain came and went quickly, and even covered only part of the area in front of the Tianshi Mansion in Longhu Mountain, and the back mountain was not wet.
Zhang Zhiwei walked on the mountain road without any water stains on his body. There were some fellow disciples who returned to the mansion to avoid the rain around him.
Not every Taoist's Golden Light Mantra has cultivated to the point of transforming into a form with Qi, so many people were wet.
These people were anxious to go back to avoid the rain, but before they ran back, the heavy rain stopped. Just when they felt a little strange, they found Zhang Zhiwei, who had unlocked the heaven-man communication and could sense Qi.
"Brother Zhiwei, when did you come back? We haven't seen you giving morning lessons these days, and we all miss you!"
"Brother Zhiwei, what did you do when you went down the mountain this time? Tell us about it!"
"It was pouring rain, but there was no moisture on your body. You are worthy of being Brother Zhiwei!"
"Brother Zhiwei, speaking of which, you were not in the mountains these days, and many strange things happened in the mountains!"
As soon as they saw Zhang Zhiwei, the brothers greeted him enthusiastically and talked about it.
Zhang Zhiwei wanted to tell his brothers what he did when he went down the mountain, but suddenly heard that many strange things happened in the mountains, and asked what the strange things were?
A junior brother said: "These days, we went to work in the fields after morning classes as usual, but found that the fields we were supposed to plow had been plowed by others, and they were plowed so clean."
"We didn't take it seriously at the time, thinking that it was done by some diligent junior brother, so we went back to the mountain to rest."
"The next day, we changed a field to plow, but unexpectedly, it was still plowed very clean, so we went back to rest again."
"The third day was still the same. We all suspected that the fields in the mountains had become spirits and could plow the fields by themselves!"
The junior brother laughed.
Zhang Zhiwei said unhappily: "What nonsense are you talking about? How can the land plow by itself? Don't you know to watch and investigate?"
The junior brother scratched his head and smiled: "Brother, look at what you said. If we watch and the other party doesn't plow the fields anymore, what should we do?!"
Zhang Zhiwei was speechless: "You are sneaky and cunning. The atmosphere of our Longhu Mountain has been corrupted by you guys. Go back quickly and let me see who has nothing to do after eating and goes to dig the ground in the middle of the night."
