For this kind of education method, Fang Zheng neither agrees nor agrees with it. The result of completely ignoring it is that Fang Zheng has been wild for so many years, and when he grows up, he is still full of running trains and swearing. Although he has also realized some philosophy of life and principles of being a human being, he is still an ordinary child who has not received higher education. No matter how much Yizhi Zen Master does, how much can he comprehend if he is expected to comprehend it by himself? As for the approval, it is because Zen Master Yizhi gave him a happy childhood, and his heart has never changed. He is still him, still the same Fang Zheng!

Even if the system suddenly appeared and gave him some shackles, it quickly became insignificant. Can't you curse? Although Fangzheng still explodes occasionally, it doesn't seem to affect his life if he doesn't swear. As for maintaining the demeanor of a master in front of others, this is already a compulsory course for Fang Zheng. No matter what, pretend to be a good master, accumulate a lot of merit, and strive to return to vulgarity as soon as possible!

Thinking about himself and looking at Honghaier, Fangzheng became more and more sure of his teaching direction. The current Honghaier is more vigorous than he was before, so he must be beaten appropriately, and his thoughts of killing people who disagree with each other must be suppressed forcibly. Then he will gradually guide and influence him, and the rest depends on how much he can realize. The sooner he realizes, the sooner he is liberated, and the later he realizes, let Fangzheng die here...

To be honest, Fangzheng really didn't have much confidence in being able to influence this fierce red boy...

For lunch, Hong Haier didn't eat at all, just sat there in a daze.

"Jingxin, why don't you eat?" Fangzheng asked.

Red Boy propped his chin, looked forward with disgust and said: "Enough, although I don't vomit anymore, but... I don't have any interest in watching them. I really don't understand you, don't you get tired of eating these every day? These white rice, rotten vegetable leaves, how can there be meat. Master, I saw that the monks on Lingshan can eat meat. How come you can’t eat meat anymore? Did you also get caught by that old demon..."

Fangzheng: "Huh?!"

Red Boy immediately changed his words: "Did you get fooled by the Bodhisattva?"

When Lone Wolf heard this, he also secretly looked at Fangzheng. Although Jingmi is delicious, Lone Wolf is a wolf after all, and he still has some thoughts about meat.

Fangzheng knew that Lone Wolf must have thought about this question a long time ago, but he didn't dare to ask it. Since Hong Haier brought up the topic today, he doesn't mind talking about it.

Fangzheng put down his chopsticks, sat up straight and said, "Do you know why monks don't eat meat?"

Red Boy rolled his eyes and said, "If I know, why don't I ask you?"

Fangzheng ignored him and looked at the lone wolf, monkey, and squirrel. These three guys really shook their heads. Then Fangzheng continued: "The Buddhist scripture "Guidelines Guangben" is very clear: Buddhism does not have a vegetarian rule. Buddhists forbid eating Yes, it is "meat". This meat is not our current concept, it refers to animal food such as chicken, duck and fish. The meat we are talking about now is called "fishy" in Buddhism, not "meat". The word "meat" in Buddhist scriptures is not When reading hun, it should be pronounced as xun, which means smoked, and refers to vegetables with a smoky smell. "Hun is the smell of vegetables." "The Brahma Net Sutra" puts it more specifically: "If the Buddha is not allowed to eat the five spices. Garlic, onion, green onion, blue onion, and xingqu are the five pungent vegetables. Meat is these five kinds of vegetables. Note that the most five pungent here does not refer to these five kinds of vegetables, but generally refers to all spicy vegetables. Therefore, as long as it is a spicy and stimulating vegetable, it cannot be eaten.

The character for meat comes from the head of the grass and not next to the meat, which shows that the original meaning of meat is a plant rather than an animal, so the early monks were allowed to eat meat.

However, there are always exceptions.

More than 1,400 years ago, Xiao Yan, Emperor Wu of Liang in the Southern Dynasty, changed here.

Xiao Yan himself is a Buddhist, to what extent does he believe in Buddhism? In order to become a monk, it can be said that he racked his brains. The world doesn't need it, and the harem beauties don't need it. As long as he can become a monk, he can do anything. I gave it to the temple, which was the Tongtai Temple at that time. .

However, in that era, only the emperor was in charge of the world, and there was no deputy emperor who could manage the government while the emperor was reciting scriptures. For a while, the whole country was in chaos. The ministers were also helpless, there were countless meetings and conferences, no matter how capricious the emperor was, this country still had to take care of it! So everyone thought about it, thought about it, and finally came up with a way to redeem the emperor!

Therefore, these ministers took the money and sent it to Tongtai Temple, and forced the emperor Xiao Yan to redeem him. However, this emperor is also a wonderful thing, you redeem me? Then I give myself up again! The minister also got involved with him, you will redeem if you give me up! Anyway, the money belongs to the country!

It's cheaper for Tongtai Temple to go back and forth like this, and Tongtai Temple is not a way to see this! Today's emperor believes in Buddhism. If the emperor is changed, he is unhappy and rich, and he may be attacked by them. However, Xiao Yan was determined to be a monk, and no one could do anything about it.

It can be seen how obsessed this Xiao Yan is with Buddhism. Later, he saw that there was a ban on killing in the book, and he thought that the ban on killing is not enough. If there is no buying and selling, there will be no killing. If no one eats, who will kill? So he promulgated a ban, prohibiting monks in the world from eating meat, and at the same time raised this rule to the gods and ancestors of the heaven and earth, who must enjoy monk treatment. That is to say, in the future, the pig heads of the three animals can no longer be used in offering sacrifices to heaven and earth, gods, and ancestors, and all pig heads and pork made of flour will be used instead.

It was also from then on that there was a rule that monks should not eat meat. However, after all, the Southern Dynasty was only a few years old, and it had not unified the whole country, so its influence was far from reaching the level of influencing future generations.

However, when Kumarajiva later translated Buddhist scriptures, he added not to eat meat into the Bodhisattva precepts, but the original Bodhisattva precepts have long been lost. It is to quit eating meat. But it's just an advocacy, not a mandatory requirement. After all, Kumarajiva also married his cousin. But this is the beginning of a wider publicity, and the impact is very wide.

Monks not to eat meat became a mandatory rule in the Tang Dynasty when Zen Buddhism flourished. Zen "Baizhang Qingguo" clearly stipulated that monks should not eat meat. However, at the beginning, it was only for monks, and later it was required for all monks.

Even so, whether or not monks can eat meat is treated according to different situations, and it is not generalized. ,

Buddhism is divided into Mahayana and Hinayana. Mahayana saves people wholeheartedly, using self-sufficiency as a means of saving people, so no meat can be eaten, which is Xiao Yan's theory, if you don't eat, you don't kill.

The Hinayana only seeks to save oneself but not others, and allows eating three kinds of "clean meat". ".

For "sick bhikkhus", that is, monks who are sick, a humanitarian policy is implemented, special care is given, and any meat can be eaten. Today, monks from India, Sri Lanka and other countries, as well as monks from Mongolian, Tibetan, Dai and other ethnic minorities in China, are allowed to eat meat. "

"Master, I understand. We are Mahayana Buddhism, right? We want to cross people, so we can't eat meat!" The squirrel was the first to raise its paw and shouted.
