Chapter 1144 Seeing the Coffin

When Ash arrived at the bottom hall of Guiming Palace, he did not see wonders, magic spirits, or resources. He only saw that the grand and solemn hall had been randomly cleared out to leave a space, with chairs and bookshelves all piled up in the corner, and a huge void crack above the space.

"What is this?" Ash asked, but he did not get a reply for a long time. He turned his head and saw the dead man leaning against the wall behind him smoking, as if he could not hear him speak, and even his eyes did not meet his.

Ash did not ask any more questions. He flicked his fingers and shot out eight sword lights, forming a cube to surround the void crack. At the same time, a book appeared in front of him. As the source power was consumed violently, the pages gradually appeared in gold fonts!

Wonder·Gospel!

Before entering hell this time, everyone - including Vichy - expressed their willingness to lend the gods to Ash temporarily, but Ash did not take any. It's not that he wants to make it more difficult for himself, but the use of gods requires accumulated experience. Each god is a professional tool with infinite possibilities. Except for the 'Lake Broken God', which Ash is somewhat sure to use correctly, he can't use the three gods 'Fairy Tale', 'Gospel' and 'Soul Lock' even if he gets them, which are not as good as his own wonders.

But Ash is not without any preparation. The most important thing for exploring hell is intelligence, so he asked the operators to help him build a wonder for reconnaissance prophecy. The witch, Silver Lantern, and Vichy spent more than half a month to build a lower-level wonder "Gospel" for Ash.

The Gospel can be summarized in one sentence: the Gospel God's spirit is divided. The premise for the establishment of this wonder is that the witch opens herself to Ash without restriction, so that Ash can use the power of the Gospel God to conduct reconnaissance and analysis through this wonder.

The prophecy department is one of the most difficult mysterious factions, and they don't have any prophecy spirits. If they really build a prophecy wonder, the time required will be calculated in years. It is better to find a way to let the witches assist remotely, anyway, it is OK.

It is worth mentioning that by helping Ash to build a wonder this time, the three witches have obtained a chance to exchange for any service for free at Ash. They did it without stopping and queued up directly. Only Sword Princess could not help because she didn't know the prophecy faction at all, so naturally she couldn't join the party. However, before that, Sword Princess won the first place in magic training for more than half a month, completely occupying Ash and not giving the witches any chance to contact, which made the witches' eyes green. Therefore, the three witches obviously wanted to anger Sword Princess, and even Ash couldn't say anything.

After a delay of more than ten seconds from the human world to hell, the gospel finally showed the information of the void rift. Ash glanced at it and said in surprise: "Hell portal? Isn't it said that you can only use tribulations to cross hell?"

"Three seconds."

Death Maniac couldn't help but say: "When more than seven demigods consume tribulations at the same time to go to the third level of hell, the torn hell passages will temporarily merge to form a hell portal that lasts for three seconds."

"That means that all the demigods who are not dead have gone to the third level of hell..." Ash murmured: "But since they can run, why would anyone stay?"

Death Maniac didn't answer him, and Ash didn't care. He looked around to make sure there was nothing missing, and raised his right hand to look at the eye mark on the back of his hand. In the process of looting along the way, he found a total of four tribulations, and he could still have one left after going to the third level of hell.

Guiming Palace gathers most of the resources of Deep Blue Hell. Now that Guiming Palace has been looted, the second level of hell is no longer worth exploring.

However, when Ash was about to tear open the space crack, Death Maniac suddenly said, "Don't teleport here."

"Huh?"

Death Maniac bit his cigarette and said a few words reluctantly: "There is another reason why they teleported together, that is, someone among them must have mastered the spatial coordinates of a magician's base in the third level of hell. Collective teleportation can allow everyone to locate and teleport to the magician's base. That space crack has a positioning effect. If you teleport here, it will tear the crack again and teleport to their base."

"Why can't you teleport to their base?"

Death Maniac was so angry that he laughed: "Has your brain been soaked in white turbid liquid? Don't you know which one is more dangerous to you, the Forgotten or the Demigod of Hell? If you want to die, go ahead."

Ash understood what Death Maniac meant. The coronation ceremony of the Supreme Star was a grand ceremony broadcast live throughout the virtual realm. Countless people saw him and Stars share the Supreme Holy Grail, and then Stars ascended to the highest level, and he had half of the Supreme Holy Grail, but he was not even a God Lord, just like a fat man holding a blood diamond.

The Hell Demigods had long coveted him. If he fell into the base of the Hell Demigods, under the huge pressure of survival and the temptation of interests, the only reason why the Hell Demigods would not eat him could only be that they had requirements for food.

However, Ash thought about it and decisively used his left hand to cut the three eye marks on the back of his right hand. The marks quickly expanded into cracks and merged directly into the void cracks. Before Ash could react, half of his body was sucked into it.

"Can you stop being so childish!?" Death Mania spat out the cigarette butt in a rage and rushed up to grab his hand, as if he wanted to pull him back. Ash grabbed her wrist with his backhand, glanced at her calmly, and without explanation, he directly pulled her through the cracks and left the second level of hell.

This time they did not fall into the deep sea or lava. The other side of the crack was the inner hall of the building. There was a soft and gorgeous rain magic carpet, a luxurious and exquisite starry sky chandelier, and a soothing and sad symphony flowing in their ears. They seemed to have come to the banquet hall of the upper class nobles and were ready to dance together.

However, the rotten food on the table clearly showed them that this place had been abandoned for a long time, and there was no one to clean it. The fallen chairs, the broken plates, and the fallen red wine goblets, every detail explained to Ash that this was a banquet that was suddenly interrupted and no one came back.

"It was probably the demigods from the Deep Blue Hell who teleported here. The people here held a banquet for them, and then something happened - if I'm not mistaken, the Guiming Palace fell completely, the second hell was digested by Ouroboros, and the Forgotten Legion began to attack the third hell. This is the front line of the war."

Death Maniac picked up a bottle of unopened wine next to him, drew his sword and cut off the bottle mouth directly, took a sip of wine and smoked a cigarette, and said: "The banquet that was originally supposed to welcome the guests turned into the last meal before the expedition."

"Are you disappointed that you didn't fight a battle with the demigods of hell?" She turned her head to look at Ash, sneered: "That's right, it's really boring to search hell peacefully, how can it be more interesting to kill through hell? If you don't kill a few demigods to liven up the atmosphere, wouldn't it be a waste of your new toys and new wonders?"

Ash ignored the mockery of Death Maniac. He looked around to confirm that there were no living people around, and walked out of the banquet hall with a little disappointment in his heart.

When he pushed open the door of the banquet hall, he saw the castle covered with white frost, the statues, the ceiling, the windows, the floor, everything was dyed pale. The only things not covered by the frost were the glittering gems of knowledge on the ground... they were the ashes of the demigods after their death.

Death Maniac was right, this was the front line of the war, and the demigods stepped into the grave as soon as they left the banquet hall.

Ash scraped the frost on the wall, and it felt like salt particles, and it felt like fingernails. He squatted down to clean the frost on the gems of knowledge, and put them into the refining bottle one by one.

"Don't waste time, just put them all in the refining bottle." Death Maniac frowned slightly: "The war may not be over yet, there is a dangerous atmosphere here."

Inexplicable anger burned through his belly, even if it was just to piss off Death Maniac, Ash wanted to continue wasting time here. However, he quickly suppressed this inappropriate confrontation, gave up collecting knowledge gems and walked away quickly.

Death Maniac looked at his back, and the anger in his eyes became more and more intense.

She was not a patient person. When Ash suddenly stopped, Death Maniac could no longer suppress the anger in her voice, which was full of sulfur smell like a volcano on the eve of an eruption: "What's wrong again?!"

She saw Ash staring at the several knowledge gems on the sofa... No.

Because it was covered with white frost and next to the passage, Death Maniac saw it as a rectangular sofa at first glance, but after a closer look, he recognized it as a coffin.

What made Ash stop was the coffin.

He ignored Death Maniac and reached out to wipe off the white frost on the coffin, revealing the sandalwood underneath. He pressed the edge of the coffin board and pulled the coffin open suddenly. The coffin board fell to the ground with a snap, covering the knowledge gems on the ground.

Inside the coffin, it was empty, nothing.

Death Maniac vaguely realized something. She glanced at the empty coffin and asked, "Can we leave now?"

Ash shook his head and turned to look at the coffin lid on the ground.

He knelt on one knee and reached out to hold a corner of the coffin lid. Death Maniac looked at him as if he was frozen there, and the coffin board seemed to be heavy, pressing his hands so that he could not move.

Very rarely, Death Maniac did not urge him, but waited quietly beside him.

A few seconds later, Ash suddenly raised his hand and turned the coffin lid to the back, shaking off the nearby white frost with a snap.

He stood up immediately after taking a look, and his body lost balance and stepped back a few steps. When he stepped back, his ankles hit the debris and he almost fell down. His back touched the wall and slowly slid down, and he sat on the ground covered with white frost. He looked down at the ground, gasping for breath, as if something was strangling his throat and squeezing his heart.

Death Maniac went over to take a look and found a line of words on the inside of the coffin lid:

"Ash and An Nan are lovers, An Nan and Qin Na are mother and daughter, Qin Na and Ash are lovers, Qin Na and Nona are sisters"

Death Maniac looked at Ash, and after a moment of silence, he turned back to the banquet hall. A moment later, she came over with a bottle of wine, stood next to Ash, took a sip of wine and smoked a cigarette.

When Ash's breathing calmed down, she handed the bottle to him. Ash took it and took a big gulp, but spit it out the next second.

"Can't get used to drinking?" Death Crazy laughed, "Just like a child."

"You want to laugh at me for being childish." Ash said softly, "Anyway, my mood can't be any worse."

"You are childish in many ways," Death Crazy said, "but you are mature in this one."

She leaned against the wall, and her voice became softer: "I have been watching you, and I know how important they are to you."

A lit cigarette was handed to Ash's lips, and he raised his eyebrows to meet Death Crazy's bloodshot eyes. After a moment of silence, Ash did not reach out to take it, but directly held the cigarette holder and took a sip, feeling the mellow smoke stimulating his throat.

This is the first time he didn't cough.
