Chapter 1600 A War Without a Winner (Fifty-Two)
Chapter 1602 A War Without Winners (Fifty-two)
As we gradually entered the end of June, the hot weather became the biggest obstacle to everyone's hard work. Even though most of the time, they only needed to wave their wands, it was still difficult for everyone to bear working under the scorching sun, so they unanimously decided to move their work to the coolest time of the day.
So, even if they still had to work hard near dusk, no one complained.
At this moment, on the gravel path outside Avalon, two long figures appeared out of thin air with a sudden crackling sound, and walked side by side towards the village not far away.
"It's a rare holiday, why do I feel so uncomfortable!"
For some reason, Ron felt inexplicably awkward every time he came to this village, and even wanted to turn around and leave.
"Anyway, I'm tired of working overtime every day. It's like a disaster."
Harry observed the scenery around him and was extremely surprised by the changes here.
"I remember when I first came here, this road hadn't been paved with gravel, and the house over there had just finished laying the foundation."
"I don't know what deal Kingsley made with those bastards."
Looking at the village that was turning upside down, Ron felt more and more upset, and even regretted why he agreed to become an Auror first, instead of coming to help build the village, which made him unable to find a place to stay in this village.
"Harry, Ron!"
As the two approached the village along the gravel path, a tall figure on the hillside not far away was waving at this side with his back to the setting sun.
"Hagrid, why are you here?"
Harry looked at the giant walking towards them, and was surprised that Hagrid, who was supposed to stay in Hogwarts, would appear here.
"I thought there was nothing to do in Hogwarts, so I thought about coming here to help. It's also more lively here, and..." Hagrid almost patted his chest and said, "Albert needs my help, and I also want to do something for Albert. It can't be that he always helps me."
"What help?" Ron muttered.
"We have planted a large area of fruit trees over there, and also planned a chicken farm. You know, I raised roosters in school, so I am familiar with this." Hagrid didn't care about Ron's tone, and asked with a smile: "Hermione said you were going to see Harry's new house."
"New house, oh, yes, we just happened to take a break, so we wanted to come and see how the village here is built." Harry said honestly.
"Are you surprised?" Hagrid walked in front to lead the way for the two.
"I always feel that there are so many changes here." Harry sighed softly, "When I came here last time, there was almost nothing here."
"It looks different every day now."
Hagrid took Harry and Ron to find the house that was almost built.
"It's only been a short time, and it's almost finished."
Looking at the villa with the basic structure completed, the two were shocked by everyone's work efficiency.
"Albert said that this is a model house, and the finished product will definitely satisfy you."
Looking at the house in front of him, Harry hesitated for a long time, but couldn't help asking: "How long will it take?"
"It won't take long, it will definitely be completed before you get married, but if you want to move in after marriage, you need to spend some time and energy on decorating the house." Hagrid paused, as if thinking of something, and reminded: "I suggest you take the time to talk to Albert, it's best to get rid of all the troubles at once, so as not to delay your marriage."
"I always feel that this place is very similar to Harry's uncle's house. I mean it's very neat here." Ron's tone was sour, and he quickly changed the subject and asked: "By the way, Hagrid, where is Hermione?"
"You mean Hermione, she should be fiddling with her Muggle stuff over there." Hagrid raised his hand and pointed to the outskirts of the village and said: "Albert seems to be planning to connect this place..."
"Electricity." Harry added.
"Yes, it seems to be called this. Anyway, I don't know much about those Muggle things." Hagrid stretched out his hand and scratched his hair.
"Has she been busy with this?"
Ron didn't understand why the wizard village needed Muggle electricity, and that thing seemed to interfere with the use of magic by wizards.
"Yes, she said that almost no one knew how to do it, so Albert had to ask her for help."
On the way to the rest tent, Hagrid mentioned something Hermione mentioned, "Hermione used electricity to light a lamp called..."
"Light bulb." Harry added.
"Yes, light bulb, that thing is brighter than an oil lamp, and there is also a thing that will rotate continuously. With that thing, it will be much cooler in summer."
Hagrid stopped in front of the tent, pointed to the solar panel and the rotating windmill column next to it and introduced it to Harry, "It is these two things that generate electricity. Muggles always make some weird things. Well, the door of this tent is a bit narrow, I won't go in, see you later."
After greeting the two, Hagrid left alone.
"It sounds like Albert wants to turn this place into a paradise." Harry sighed softly.
When the two entered the tent, they saw a large rotating fan. Not far from the entrance of the tent, Ginny was sitting behind her desk, busy with something.
After hearing the footsteps of someone entering the tent, Ginny subconsciously raised her head and looked at Harry and Ron who had just entered the tent. She stood up from her chair in surprise: "Why are you here?"
"Kingsley gave us a holiday in turns, so Ron and I came to see you." Harry stepped forward and gave his fiancée a hug.
"Kingsley finally let you take a break." Ginny kissed Harry's lips, her tone particularly resentful.
"The food here is really good."
Ron looked at the various desserts on the table and couldn't help muttering, "Are they all desserts made by Dobby?"
"Hogwarts' house elves also helped." Ginny glanced at the annoying guy next to her and said, "If you want to eat, just take it yourself. There is black tea, milk tea or butter beer next to it. You can make whatever you want to drink."
"Albert is generous. I feel that if he opens a dessert shop, it will definitely be very popular." Ron took a bite of the authentic red bean pie, picked up another piece and handed it to Harry, saying vaguely, "You should try it too. This thing is much better than the one made at home last time."
"Shut up and eat your food." Ginny glared at Ron fiercely, very dissatisfied that he actually disliked the food she made.
"Will the work here be tiring?" Harry quickly changed the subject.
"No, I'm very relaxed most of the time. The only worry is that I get fat easily. There are too many temptations here." Ginny looked at Ron, who was enjoying the delicious dessert, with contempt, and took Harry's hand to walk out of the tent. She really didn't want to stay with that embarrassing guy.
