1663 Don’t Know Where to Go

Mr. Trueman does not come from a family of big capitalists, nor is he a politician in the traditional sense. His family has just been working in the army.

Of course, this does not mean that he comes from a military family with a very strong background. He is just a part of the military forces.

Due to a coincidence, he and the top military officials stood on the same position on some issues, and then he left the military and joined the political arena.

His composition is not that noble, and his children will naturally not be that special.

In the first sixteen years of her life, she was no different from an ordinary girl.

Her father had been an officer in the military, then left the service and became a politician through introductions, serving the then-Vice President.

Only later, something happened very quickly, her father started working for Mr. President, and he eventually became President of the Confederacy himself.

Even now, for the girl, she still has not been able to adapt well to the changes in her life and role!

She has everything an ordinary girl has, including temperament, interests, and outlook on life.

She did not receive an elite education like capitalism or a political family since she was a child. She grew up in an ordinary school and went to an intercity middle school, not a private high school.

This may be another victory for the people of the Federation in some respects. Mr. President’s family background is similar to ours, and his children also attend ordinary public high schools!

Although she was eventually admitted to the Holy Peace College because she was "good at expressing herself" and "had extensive experience in social activities", people still believed that the world was fair!

Mr. Trueman was not too worried about his daughter's second relationship, because in this day and age there were only two types of students who could attend Holy Peace colleges.

The first type is those whose academic performance is so good that the poverty of their families can be ignored. They are the seeds of future scientists.

They will not be some street gangsters who put all their energy into learning and have no time or opportunity to learn bad things.

When it comes to falling in love with such people, Mr. Trueman feels that they should be careful about themselves, not his daughter.

Second, these people all have a profound social background. They either have parents who are big capitalists, or someone in their family is a well-known politician.

They have received the best elite education since childhood, and they know very well how stupid it is to harm the daughter of a president who has concentrated power during this special war period.

They would never risk exposing themselves and the families behind them to do something to that girl.

So Mr. Trueman isn't worried about his daughter at all!

and!

Is it really useful to worry?

He was more concerned about what to do next than these.

In fact, the problem of war no longer requires him to think too much about what to do. The military will provide the optimal solution.

The upgrading of military equipment does not require him to do anything. In order to obtain more orders, the military industrial group will participate more actively in the research and development of new weapons than anyone else.

What he really needs to consider now are the things he promised the people during his campaign.

Education reform, social security system reform.

He seemed a little careless when answering his wife's questions. His wife also knew that he had been sleeping very late recently, so she took care of it for him in such a small matter. "Tomorrow is the weekend. I will invite him to come to my house for dinner in the evening. It is our house, not here."

"You'd better come back soon, any questions?"

Mr. Trueman was stunned for a moment, came to his senses, straightened his appearance, and walked towards the door, "Of course it's okay, but I might forget this, so you have to remind me..."

Exiting the door is the corridor of the Presidential Palace, where he works.

Sometimes it is difficult for people to distinguish whether letting the president live in the presidential palace is a kind of respect for the president, a symbol of highlighting the president's status, or is it to better "exploit" the president's labor force?

It's like having workers live in the workshop, you could say it's to save them the time and expense of commuting to and from get off work, but... there's always a sense of "this is fucking exploitation"!

In the afternoon, the Progressive Party Committee called Lynch.

Although Lynch is a member of the Progressive Party and is relatively familiar with the senior members of the Progressive Party committee, to be honest, he is almost a transparent person in the committee.

He is not the kind of person who often goes to committees, so he has little presence in the Progressive Party.

In the past, "Progressive" was more like a label hanging on him, rather than a camp organization or an identity that played a role around him.

Lynch was still surprised by the call from the Progressive Party committee.

"Mr. Lynch, the first hearing on the "Changes in Adjusting Social Security Payment Schemes" proposed by Mr.... will be held in Congress next Tuesday. If Mr. Lynch is free, he can participate in the hearing... "

Hearings……

Lynch did not expect Mr. Trueman to act so quickly. Generally speaking, if it reaches the level of a hearing, at least someone must propose and vote in Congress before a hearing can be held.

Its purpose is to persuade more people to agree with a certain point of view, thereby gaining more people's support when voting.

But now I don’t seem to have heard that Mr. Trueman is pushing this matter. The hearing was held in advance. There seems to be some unknown secret in it.

Lin Qi thought for a while and agreed.

His participation as an observer is actually a kind of help. He can represent the supporting side. When the members of Congress or the heads of other departments or some people related to this matter are questioning, they should be somewhat concerned about those supporting parties. By.

After confirming his participation and getting the exact time and place, the other party hung up the phone.

Lynch put down the phone a few seconds and picked it up again to call Mr. Trueman to find out what was going on.

The call was quickly connected, and Lynch directly asked about the hearing without exchanging too many pleasantries with him.

"...Yes, this is indeed the case. I just want to talk to you."

"Some problems have been bothering me recently. I know there are some good solutions to solve these problems, but they are too far away from our goals."

There is nothing wrong with these words, but in fact only Mr. Trueman and Lynch know what the federal president is talking about.

Sometimes Lynch feels that Mr. Trueman is an alternative, because in this country where capitalism is prevalent, he may be one of the very few people who puts the country and the people before capital and is in a high position!

He is like a freak of the times who became the president of this country under the most unlikely circumstances and tried to bring more changes to the country.

Perhaps this is why the Chairman of the Progressive Party Committee revealed something about his actual dislike of the President, Mr. Trueman, when he and Lynch were chatting privately!

He is a president born by true coincidence. The Progressive Party needs someone who is radical enough and has certain public support to participate in the election and win.

The military needs to change the status quo of being overly interfered by the government and causing continuous disarmament. They need to get rid of the government's interference in the military.

With the shadow of war and the people's dissatisfaction with conservatism, Mr. Trueman gradually showed his value under various coincidences.

He meets the interests of many parties and can be said to be the most suitable candidate.

But being the most suitable doesn't mean he is necessarily the most likable.

If Lynch is a traditional, narrow-minded capitalist, he will definitely not like Mr. Trueman. Like other capitalists, he will strongly oppose some of his ideas.

Because he is digging the foundation of capitalism!

Capitalists and capitalism have spent more than two hundred years establishing a complete set of exploitation methods that are acceptable to the people.

From the moment people are born, they seem to be sent to the exploitation assembly line of a capital factory.

They will spend their entire lives on this assembly line, and the factory will mechanize and ruthlessly oppress and exploit them within their maximum endurance until they leave the assembly line.

Turned into a pile of ashes put in a box and swept into the garbage heap of history.

Or jump off halfway and become an accomplice who helps factories exploit and oppress the people, or simply become a capitalist!

Mr. Trueman's attempt to break these has met with many obstacles.

He doesn't see much future and hope. The reform of the insurance system is different from the reform of education.

No matter how the education reform changes, it will not harm the core interests of the education group in the end.

A social network with Shenghehui as its core!

In fact, rather than saying that education groups monopolize educational resources and knowledge, it is better to say that they monopolize the only ladder that the bottom of society has a chance to rise to!

The final achievements of ten thousand college students who attend ordinary universities may not be as good as those of a college student who has a profound background and attends a Holy Peace institution.

No matter how much knowledge the former have learned, most of them will still use their knowledge to work for others and help others make money.

But the students who come out of the Holy Peace Academy will become the middle and upper class as soon as they enter society. Many of them will become big capitalists, politicians, and a small group of people who are served by the bottom of society.

Therefore, no matter how the education reform is changed, it is impossible to shake the core interests of the education group.

But the social security system is different. It will shake the foundation of capitalist exploitation of workers and make workers try to resist. How can this be supported by capitalists?

Mr. Trueman doesn't know how to fix this, so he needs help, and he needs Lynch's help.

Whenever he starts to feel confused about the future or his ideals, Lynch can always give him great inspiration!
