Red Heart Survey

《From 60 Subscriptions to 10,000 Subscriptions. The Innocent Cannot Be Self-Innocent》

Part 1: Why I wrote this article

A while ago, a senior online writer mentioned me while answering questions on Zhihu, which was a small affirmation of me.

Someone tagged me to read it, so I was quite happy to see the article.

The unpleasant thing was in the comment section.

I saw a person I didn’t know at all, who commented: "The book by Chixin is suspected to be a ranking fraud."

In fact, this person didn’t know me at all, had never read Chixin’s Sky Survey, and had never even clicked on Chixin’s fan list.

He responded to my doubts like this. He said: "I really haven’t read your book, and I don’t have time to read it. But on a certain website, many people say so."

Many people said so, so he took it as a fact and could bring it up anytime and anywhere.

I was very angry at the time.

But think about it afterwards, why "many people say so?"

Who is making such a rumor?

Who is spreading such a rumor?

Everything always has a source. Or as many readers asked, "Did I offend anyone?"

I actually always knew the answer.

I didn't say it earlier because I think writing itself is the most important thing and shouldn't be distracted by these snakes, insects, rats and ants.

But when I was resting, I suddenly saw such a rat shit, and my mood for the whole day was ruined.

I was very angry that day and wanted to write such an article to sort out the causes and consequences and make it clear what was right and wrong.

However, I was not in a good state during that period, and it was difficult to update. I couldn't spare time to write articles.

Later, I simply thought that forget it, the innocent will be innocent. I speak with my works and my achievements.

But just the day before yesterday, after Chixin Xuntian had achieved the achievement of "writing from 60 orders to 10,000 orders". Suddenly, another inexplicable person jumped out on Zhihu and directly commented that I was a "big brush".

Since August, Chixin Xuntian has almost one leader every day, one of whom is silver, and another has seven alliances in a row, and he is still at the tail end of the top 20 of the monthly ticket list.

And I am actually the "big brush" in the mouth of others.

Your brush uses the leader to brush the list? Isn't it stuck at the beginning of the month when the four-fold monthly ticket is rewarded?

Which brush is so stupid as to use the same amount of money to brush three times less monthly tickets?

Which brush can do it regardless of cost, from February to now, every month at the top of the sales list and monthly ticket list?

Who is using his IQ to doubt my IQ?

I decided to write this article.

I don't believe that the innocent will be clear. If you don't occupy the high ground of public opinion, the trolls will occupy it.

Part 2: Who did I offend.

The cause of the incident was in October 2019, when I just started serializing the Red Heart Sky Tour, and I had just updated to the fifth chapter "If You Have Experienced Everything I Have Experienced".

Someone asked a question on Zhihu, asking "How do you evaluate the long-length Xianxia novel "Red Heart Touring the Sky" serialized on Qidian?"

The question description is - "Based on the quality of these five chapters, is there a possibility of it becoming a hit?"

But after he rashly asked such a question, when someone questioned whether this question was directed and acted by me, he did not say a word.

Amid the full screen of abuse, he did not say a word.

It seemed to disappear out of thin air.

No explanation was given for me, nor was it given to me.

When I was tagged in this question at that time, my first reaction was panic.

There were only three answers under this question, all of which were blown up.

I quickly wrote an article saying that this was my first time writing online articles, and I would never dare to say that I could write a hit, I could only be sure that I would write it with all my heart.

But when I wrote this article...

A large group of people had already come.

[A pretentious person wrote this for a literary youth disease, I lose if I can sign a contract]

[Primary school student writing, my three-year-old son writes better than him. 】

【It is a disaster for traditional writers who can't write stories and can only use seemingly gorgeous but empty writing to fool people to write online articles. 】

【Why do you start to make money? 】

There are also people who analyze and ridicule word by word, and teach me how to use punctuation marks...

There are too many such examples to list. (Many of the answers at that time have been deleted or modified now. So some readers may be surprised to see that there are not many people who are too aggressive. In fact, there were 70 or 80 answers at that time, and each one was more fierce than the other. The more positive answers were basically added slowly later.)

What are the consequences of this incident?

The three readers who praised it deleted their answers silently.

One reader commented on me: Ah Shen, I thought it was very good. But if everyone says so, you must have a lot of questions, right?

And I gave up the idea of promoting novels on Zhihu, and stopped updating Zhihu from then on. It was almost like giving up the more than 200,000 followers I had accumulated after writing on Zhihu for several years.

I did not respond to any attack under this question.

Even if someone came to my article to criticize me, I would just block them silently.

At that time, I had only one thought: I wrote novels for myself.

I didn't want to prove anything to anyone.

I have such a brilliant world in my heart, and I want to describe it, and I will always have a soulmate.

An interesting point is that most of those people who used extremely derogatory words and wanted to trample me into the dust came from the same organization——

"Caotang Literature Club".

This is an organization where many unknown online writers gather together, probably born for online writing.

What is the level of this club?

About a year later, one of them asked on Zhihu, "Why can't the novel I worked hard to write even pass the contract?" (The one who taught me to use punctuation.)

I racked my brains every day to think about the plot. Because of poor grades, I was so anxious that I couldn't sleep all night. I didn't have time to pay attention to them.

I didn't respond to those who attacked, insulted and trampled.

I thought I shouldn't offend anyone, right?

But I still "offended".

The first person I offended was the one who analyzed and ridiculed word by word, and the person named "Yu Sanbei" on Zhihu (now the account has been cancelled)

Yu Sanbei claimed to be an editor-in-chief, but no one knows which website he is the editor-in-chief of. His identity is one of the founders of Caotang Literature Club.

He did a very interesting thing.

He formed Caotang Literature Club, invited a few people to help, and publicly taught people to write online articles, charging several thousand yuan each. He even came up with a routine of "I will teach you how to write online articles, and I will share the income after you successfully sign the contract."

If things only go to this step, it would just be a collection of IQ taxes.

But he took the money and didn't even want to fool people, and he was too lazy to attend the class.

He disbanded the group after taking the money, cancelled his Zhihu account, and ran away with hundreds of thousands of yuan.

Only a group of confused new authors were left.

After I heard about this incident, I immediately spoke out on Zhihu.

I suggested that the victim report to the police immediately, and said that I could help contact a lawyer.

Later, a victim sent me a private message and asked if I could help.

After consulting a lawyer friend, I asked them to keep the transfer records, chat records and other evidence, and report to the police first to file a case. This matter does not need to go to court at all, the police station can handle it. I said that if it needs to go to court, I will help hire a lawyer.

Later, Yu Sanbei quickly returned the money.

And those victims... chose to keep things quiet.

If I offended anyone, I should have offended Yu Sanbei.

In addition, the second person I offended was Zhang Xin (who has now cancelled his account on Zhihu).

He was a veteran of the Caotang Literature Club, and was one of the people who "enthusiastically" helped new online writers and was responsible for giving lectures. After the Yu Sanbei incident, he immediately drew a line and cancelled his account.

This person is the most mean-spirited guy I have ever seen. Even if he only has an ID in the virtual online society, he is so ugly that I want to vomit.

After the question appeared on Zhihu, he first just made sarcastic comments in the comments section of each person who stepped down on my answer -

"The big guy still dares to say it."

"You are a fan, you said what I dare not say."

"The big guy is really sharp."

Later, seeing that the situation of stepping down on my comments was very good. He jumped out and decisively posted something like "Traditional writers writing online articles is really a disaster."

People who step down on others can only follow behind others. It is extremely disgusting.

I still can't understand why this person disgusts me so much.

I can't understand even more why they are all members of the Caotang Literature Club, Yu Sanbei is a liar, and he Zhang Xin is a good person?

The rumor about “Chixin Xuntian brushing the ranking” should be attributed to a third person.

This person is called “Nanbian Tinghao”.

This person is more interesting.

When Yu Sanbei was cutting leeks, he was one of the leeks cut.

At that time, he was licking all kinds of things in the comment area, calling me “Yu Da” and “Xin Da”.

He had a good relationship with Zhang Xin, and they probably discussed me in a certain online writer group.

According to what he revealed, he started writing online articles around that time, studied the routines seriously, and summarized the writing methods of commodity online articles.

From having no money, he wrote to earn tens of thousands a month, and then wrote to earn a maximum of 130,000 a month.

At that time, it was probably when my average subscription was just over 1,000.

In terms of performance, he was much better than me at that time.

But I still can’t figure it out. Why does he hate me so much.

Maybe you can help me analyze it.

In the earliest Zhihu question, Nanbian Tinghao was one of the answerers.

His answer at that time was not very aggressive. He said some truths, such as "What is Love" has no fan base for online writing, and only 175 recommendation votes in six days. For example, this question is to put What is Love on the fire.

He started to get more aggressive a year later. (Maybe because he was confident after earning tens of thousands of yuan a month?)

A person who noticed me when I was being attacked by many people asked a question on Zhihu a year later, "A year has passed, how can you fairly evaluate the work "Red Heart Sky Patrol"?"

"South Side is Good" jumped out and criticized me at that time, saying "With this result, you still play the game of not bullying the poor young man?"

And suspected that the questioner a year later was the same person as the questioner a year ago, saying that the fans of What is Love are really disgusting.

Later, he found out that it was a misunderstanding, and he apologized to him.

He also modified his answer and praised me, saying that I could persist for so long and deserved the word "man".

Oh, in the comment section of another answer, in February 21, he criticized a passerby in November 20, saying that he was a brainless fan of "Why Love Is So Damn". Later, he found out that he had made a mistake in the time and apologized.

It feels like a firecracker, exploding whenever it sees someone, and then apologizing after exploding.

But if things had ended there, it would have been fine for us.

Under the question of the year later, I also wrote an article seriously, emphasizing that "I can't evaluate my work, you might as well come back and see it ten years later." "I don't want to defeat anyone, I just want to write my story well."

I really don't want to waste my precious time in endless quarrels.

...

The problem occurred in February.

Readers who have followed along all the way know that on February 1, in the 233rd chapter of "The Hard Road" "How to Hold the Bi without Guilt", I said I wanted to rush to the list.

I said I wanted to rush to a big recommendation.

I said I had been writing for more than a year, 2.3 million words, and there was only one limited free. The average subscription was only 1,700, and the monthly ticket list was hovering around more than 200. I couldn't bear it anymore.

I said I was sure that my work was good, I just needed a chance to be exposed.

I wanted to rush to the list, I wanted to rush to the top 100 of the monthly ticket.

Either like Yin Guan, who became a god in one battle. Or like Yang Jiande, who fought hard and perished with the country.

Everyone knows what happened later.

Readers came to reward one after another, and one after another, silver, and directly pushed Chixin Xuntian to the top ten of the monthly ticket!

The reward amount for that month was 128,684 yuan.

I will never forget that February, when I gritted my teeth and persisted for more than two million words, and finally waited for the clouds to clear.

Chixin Xuntian started from that time. Until today, the sales list and monthly ticket list are always at the top.

And Nanbian Tinghao suddenly broke out in mid-February, publicly saying that I was cheating. And he told me that the author groups he mixed in were all saying this.

I still don’t understand where his malice towards me came from. I don’t understand where the malice of those people in the author groups he mentioned came from.

I asked him, if I wanted to cheat, why didn’t I cheat when I had hundreds of thousands of words, but waited until I had 2.3 million words to cheat, have you calculated the cost? It might only cost a few thousand yuan to cheat when I had hundreds of thousands of words. It would cost hundreds of thousands to cheat when I had millions of words. Can't you do the math?

He didn't answer.

Nanbiantinghao said: Your book has been written until now, and you have all the recommendations you should have, but you don't even have a masterpiece. Doesn't that explain the problem?

But in fact, at that time, Chixin Xuntian only had one limited free recommendation, and it was during the limited free period of the entire site. These are all data that can be directly checked on the website!

I asked him, you didn't even check it, you just said it?

He didn't answer.

Nanbiantinghao said again that Chixin's alliance leaders are all fake.

I said I can invite you to my alliance leader group, and you can verify the authenticity one by one. You can also click on the fan list to see for yourself whether those alliance leaders are fake.

Nanbiantinghao changed his words and said, I admit that your fans are awesome. But I don't admit that your book is awesome.

(It was probably from that time that his circle began to say that Chixin Xuntian was a fan club. The funny thing is that the first person who said that Qingheyishi had no fan base at all and only had 175 recommendation votes in 6 days was Nanbiantinghao himself.)

Nanbiantinghao said again that only subscriptions are real.

I also admitted that I was a cesarean fan. I showed him a screenshot of my 100,000 new subscriptions per day. Any author who has signed a contract with Qidian should know what 100,000 new subscriptions per day means, and should know that this is a sign that the work is rapidly increasing in genuine readers.

But he stared at the total subscriptions and said, you have been writing for so long and only have so few total subscriptions?

I said that my performance was indeed not good before, and I have never denied it.

I wrote 2.3 million words in obscurity but with quality and quantity, and lived on savings, I have never denied it. Is this a black spot?

I asked Nanbian Tinghao why it came to black me when it didn't even know the basic rules of Qidian.

It was just this one thing that made Nanbian Tinghao hate me.

This is why he slandered me.

This is why they spread rumors everywhere.

If you people feel that being criticized is being harmed.

Then what was the trampling that you did to the utmost in contempt?

If others attack you and make you feel wronged and angry, then when you attack others, have you ever thought about others' feelings?

If you feel pain. Have you ever thought about how I felt when I was faced with the trampling all over the screen, with 70 or 80 replies from beginning to end, and each one was more ruthless than the other?

The most important thing is - I am a novelist, I don't make money by character setting, I don't sell my face, and I don't have any endorsements. When will the author also have to pay for the behavior of readers?

Chixin Xuntian has been written so far, with 100 alliances, 10,000 subscriptions, and Glory 2 stars. Including piracy, the number of readers is conservatively estimated to be over a million.

Every reader has his or her own independent will.

Who can I control?

I have repeatedly told readers that I never want to slap anyone in the face, I just want to write my story.

What else can I do?

When you people mocked me, I ignored it.

When others can't stand it anymore, when they mock you, you can't bear it? Come to me eagerly?

Take my disdain as weakness!

This group of core members of Caotang Literature Club.

Yu Sanbei, Zhang Xin, Nanbian Tinghao, and their respective small circles.

Every day, he pretends to teach people how to write novels on Zhihu, giving advice on this and that.

He hangs out in the crowds of failed authors and hangs out in various pirated forums.

He has a very good appeal, but unfortunately, this appeal is only reflected in slandering others.

I can’t even add a subscription to myself!

None of these people have any worthy works. No one has the author's name that dares to be revealed to others.

To this day, I hide behind an online mask.

If something goes wrong, you will shrink back, cancel your account, and withdraw from the network.

Just this kind of people, these people, some people actually believe what they say. The rumors they made spread everywhere.

And during the time when I was scolded the worst, I didn’t even respond. I just added the words “Chixin Xiantian” to my Zhihu homepage.

At that time I thought, if it is a bad work, let it be a scar on my face. It's ugly and I'm ugly.

Now who the fuck is ugly?

When my grades were not good, I said my grades explained everything.

When my grades improved, I said they were all bad.

When I don’t have any fans, I laugh that I don’t have any fans and I can’t get a hundred subscriptions.

I have fans, and they accuse me of being a fan.

Did you let you say all the truth and lies?

You people always stare at others and never pay attention to your own works. You rush to the street again and again, and you only scold this and that every day.

What about those who actually put their heart and soul into writing? What about those who put their minds into their works?

Can we just let the slander go?

You can hide behind the mask and continue to spread rumors and smear me.

But today I will call out you rats first.

Three cups of fish, Zhang Xin, it’s nice in the south, it’s sunny.

Come again with another mask.

Nameless rat!

Part 3: The results of the sincere inspection of the sky are dignified and upright

From tips, subscriptions, chapter activity, book friend circle activity, monthly ticket list, and sales list, you can verify the true performance of this book.

Anyone with eyes can verify the facts for themselves.

But many people don’t even need to read the book or browse the fan list. They can happily publicize the “black spots” of the book with just “I heard about it.”

Who are these people?

I started writing with fifty-nine subscriptions, and by the time I had written more than three million words, I had ten thousand subscriptions.

If you take a broken bowl and start conquering the world, until you have everything you need, isn’t this achievement worthy of being called an honorable one?

I think after this article is published, someone will definitely say something else——

"If you have time to write this, why not write a few more chapters of the novel?"

"Which author has never been hacked? This author really has a heart of glass."

If the bedbug doesn't bite you, you won't feel any pain. It hurts.

If I had ignored it in the first place, if I had remained silent.

These little guys probably won’t keep chasing me and biting me. Therefore, the ancients said, it is better to offend a gentleman than a villain. Therefore, the ancients said, "Big things are reduced to small things," and then "the troubles are settled."

So an author, or any public figure, is best left silent.

Because if you say anything or express any point of view, some people will misinterpret it and object to it. To make a sound is to drive away readers.

It is best to be silent so that you can embrace more readers and make more money.

Writing machines stripped of personality are the safest.

But I don't want that.

I did nothing wrong, why am I silent?

I wrote in the book, "If no one raises a fire in the darkness, tonight will be an eternal night. If no one raises a voice about it, silence will be an accomplice!"

Outside the book, am I silent?

Do I even have to turn a blind eye to the dirty water that has been poured onto my own works?

In this era, those who purify themselves can no longer purify themselves.

So I came to clear my name myself.

I am responsible for every word in this article.

Anyone I mentioned can come and confront me. See if I have a lie.

Until now, I have not spent a penny on this book except for giving myself a genuine subscription with the author's account and paying for the cover myself.

The results of the sincere heart survey are upright.

Of the 188 alliance leaders who have been surveying the sky so far, if anyone can find one that I have such strong feelings for, they will show evidence to smash me in the face.

I pledged to donate 100,000 RMB to charity, and at the same time reward this person with 100,000 RMB.

I think no one who handles it would be willing to give up 100,000 yuan, right?

You are welcome to inquire at each brush.

Part4: Add three points.

First.

When asked about the Zhihu question in 2019, he commented, "If I tell the truth, I will definitely not be welcomed by others."

I don't think he stepped on me on purpose. I just think our creative ideas are completely different. Therefore, he would not approve of the opening chapter of "The Heart of the Sky".

When my grades were still very poor, this is what I told readers, "We have different creative concepts. What he said is probably right, but I also believe in myself."

I still say that now.

Of course, this sentence from an ancient Internet writer has given courage to people like Yu Sanbei and Zhang Xin. This influence is there. But it can't be said to be his fault.

He expresses his opinions honestly, that's all.

I have no conflict with him.

Including later when I was so angry at Nanfang Tinghao, he was the one who told me, "No one in the Internet literary circle cares about whether you have read or not, they only care about your grades. When you are subscribed, there will naturally be no voice."

It was this sentence that made me put down my emotions for a while and concentrate on writing.

Of course, it turned out that what he said was not entirely correct...

I’ve written about Baimeng, Wanding, and ranked it at the top of the monthly sales list, but there are still flies coming in front of me. Buzz after buzz!

second.

I personally completely understand the way the website recommends distribution based on merit.

Because there are too many novels added to the library every day, and editors take over too many authors, it is impossible to manage everyone.

Of course, when I was anxious and painful, I did sometimes feel resentful. For example, why would you not recommend it to me even if it was recommended to a eunuch? At least I will never be a eunuch.

But think about it carefully, where can you see it? You have a book with two million words and only one thousand orders. If I were the editor, I wouldn’t read it carefully.

After all, it was Bei He who signed this novel with an unflattering beginning and a few thousand words without a main character.

And when my grades were not good, he patiently listened to my complaints and did not ignore me.

At that time, when two million words were only ordered for one thousand, Beihe said that this result was good for a newcomer. I told Bei He that what I wanted to match was the score of the great master’s novel. My stubborn self-confidence was not laughed at.

Although there were no good recommendations at that time, it was indeed because of poor grades.

Later, once the results were matched, we had all the recommendations we should have. No activity left me behind.

So, thanks to my editor.

Thanks to the editor-in-chief Bei He and the editor-in-chief Fu Chen.

Thanks to them for thinking of me when good things happen.

third.

The smearing of Chixin is not just about slandering Chixin. They come in various angles.

Just a few days ago, I met a person who was known as a sincere reader. He went to the big brother's book and asked Qing He to learn how to write, which directly caused a wave of quarrels.

Our assistant Zhang said that we were frightened and rushed over to apologize. The operator rushed over to explain without stopping.

I felt sorry for my operators, so I went to make an alliance myself and posted to explain the situation.

As a result, this person who claimed to be a pure heart reader did not even subscribe to the chapter "Chi Xin Surveying the Sky".

What do you think these people are like?

Another time, someone posted on Zhihu and said, "The writing is good, but it's disgusting for readers to go to other book circles."

I responded immediately after seeing it, hoping that this person could take a screenshot and send it to me. If it were my reader, I would definitely deal with it,

But the person didn't reply to me.

I don't know why.

When there are many people gathered together, there will always be a variety of voices, and there will be no end to them.

I have seriously emphasized in the readership group that readers should not talk about other people’s works and not criticize anyone’s books. I emphasized this many times. Whenever I see someone criticizing a particular book or author, I will immediately stop them. Readers of the genuine book club can testify to this.

As soon as there are posts similar to disapproval in the Qidian Book Friends Circle, the operation team will immediately warn them to delete the posts.

Apart from managing the official circles and book club groups, I and our operations have no control over anything else.

How should we care about someone who hides his skin to gain slander in other people's books?

I can't let others use my skin to pull and step on me once. I will go to the alliance myself to write an explanation, and the alliance will be all over the starting point, right?

As an author, and my operators as readers who love Sky Survey, we have been doing the best we can.

What else can we do?

Most readers will not read just one novel. There are thousands of readers. When a reader does something, the behavior may be annoying to you, but how can you accurately attribute this reader to me and blame me for it?

I do not know why. I was just writing a novel, and something as advanced as Pipihei actually appeared.

As an author who wrote an online article for the first time and wrote two million words, am I worthy of this star?

I don't know why this is the trend now.

They can spread rumors and slander at will, but you and your readers cannot refute it.

The author's retort is that he has a glass heart and cannot accept any criticism.

The readers' rebuttal is that they are a fan circle and a protector.

But what is rumors? What is slander?

Why turn a blind eye to these real viciousness, these truly despicable behaviors?

What breeds this garbage?

I think it is silence!

So I write this article.

"A clear stream of water meanders by itself.

It can wash bluestone and purify the moon.

But rotten leaves and dead branches also swim with the waves, as do smelly fish and rotten shrimps!

Go to hell! "
