Chapter 398 Dress Up
Snow fell heavily on the castle and grounds. Beauxbaton's light blue carriage looked like a big frosted pumpkin in winter, and the little gingerbread house next to it was Hagrid's hut; It was covered with ice and became smooth and translucent, and the rigging was also covered with a layer of hoarfrost.
Even for breakfast, the busy house-elves prepared hot stews and sweet puddings in various flavors for teachers and students.
"The food at Hogwarts is too greasy," Fleur said, frowning, "I can't even fit in my dress robe!"
"As long as you can wear it tonight." Allen said as he stopped Harry who was walking behind them.
After a while, the three of them appeared on the slope by the lake. The green grass had been covered with a thick layer of snow, and the three of them left a string of footprints on the pure white snow.
"The view here is wide, without any buildings or trees blocking it. Alan chose a good place to talk." Harry thought to himself.
"The lake in front of you is the venue for our second competition," Allen said.
Fu Rong rubbed her palms, nodded casually, and looked back at Allen suddenly.
Harry asked in disbelief, "It's winter, do you want us to have a winter swimming competition?"
"Almost." Alan said: "The organizing committee will take away our most beloved people and hand them over to the mermaids at the bottom of the lake. Our task is to find and rescue them within an hour."
"What if I can't find it?" Fu Rong asked with a pale face, thinking of some terrible possibility.
"After an hour, there is no hope. It has completely disappeared and will never appear." Alan imitated the lyrics of the mermaid in the golden egg, deliberately frightening the two.
Harry's face was pale, he didn't know who his beloved was, but just because of this, he felt even more horrified.
Fleur looked at Harry's hellish look, and couldn't help but burst out laughing, "What a fool, Alan lied to you."
Harry looked from Alan to Fleur, scratched his head, realized that the school couldn't really let innocent people die in such a thing, and laughed sheepishly.
"Then the next thing we need to prepare is how to stay underwater for an hour." Furong's white fingers touched the red lips, and her delicate brows frowned.
"Alan is fine." Harry blinked enviously, "He can teleport to the destination, then quickly save him, and then teleport back."
Fu Rong nodded in agreement: "That's right, the first place in this competition must be Allen."
"I didn't plan to use Animagus in this game." Allen shook his head under the surprised eyes of the two, and smiled.
"Do you have a good idea?" Fu Rong blurted out.
"Of course, gills and webbed fingers and toes will grow from taking gills. In this way, people can swim and breathe underwater. An hour is not a problem." Allen's words made Harry's eyes brighten.
"There is also the bubble head spell, which allows you to keep breathing underwater." Allen gave a second solution.
"Which of these two solutions will you use?" Fu Rong asked curiously.
"Neither, you two can choose to use it." Alan didn't say his own plan, and provided these two methods to Fleur and Harry.
Fu Rong wisely didn't ask any more questions.
When Allen returned to the castle and was about to change into his gown and go to the auditorium, Benny flew in from the window, flapped his wings, and shook off a thin layer of snow from his body.
Allen unhooked a box from its lap.
"Huh?" The wrapping paper on this box looks familiar, isn't it the paper on the gift box he gave Professor Snape?
Allen quickly took it apart and looked at it, and a tattered copy of "Advanced Potion Making" by Libasio Pollach appeared in front of him.
Thinking of a certain possibility, Allen quickly drew out his wand: "The truth is revealed!" He tapped the cover neatly and read.
He turned the book over, and at the bottom of the back cover, there was a small, very compact line of text: This book belongs to the Half-Blood Prince.
It was a surprise to get this book. While there was still time, Allen read it with great interest.
This book is Professor Snape's notes, not only potion tips, but also records some of his original spells.
It wasn't until it was completely dark that he adjusted his dress robes, walked out of the dormitory, and joined Hermione.
The whole of Hogwarts was extraordinarily gorgeous tonight. The little wizards were no longer all in black robes, but wearing colorful dress robes, walking and laughing in the corridors.
The foyer was also full of students, all circling back and forth, waiting for eight o'clock, when the doors of the auditorium would open. Some people want to meet their dance partners from other colleges, so they squeeze sideways through the crowd, looking for each other's figure.
Knowing the content and solution of the second game, Harry changed into his own dress. He glanced at Ron who was struggling with the lace on the dress, and left silently. He felt that if Ron knew Whoever he was dancing with tonight, the wand cut probably wasn't a dress.
"Hi, Harry." Ginny greeted Harry from the bottom of the stairs.
Harry had to admit that the girl seemed to have grown up overnight tonight, and the black body-hugging dress accentuated her figure. The long red curly hair, every arc is telling what is charming.
"You're—er—beautiful," said Harry awkwardly.
Ginny's face was burning hot, and she wanted to go forward to grab Harry's arm, but she tripped over the steps and almost fell down. Harry immediately grabbed Ginny's waist, and Ginny's hand was on Harry's. Li's chest stabilized his figure.
There was an instant sound of good-natured laughter around.
But soon their attention was diverted, because Fleur Delacour came. She was stunningly beautiful in her silver-gray satin gown, and she was accompanied by a handsome young man.
"This guy looks familiar," Ginny said.
"Albert Harris, Ellen's eldest brother, the Auror of the Ministry of Magic." Harry briefly introduced.
Seeing that Ginny's attention was on other people, for some reason, his chest felt a little congested.
A group of Slytherins came up the steps from their underground common room. In the lead was Draco Malfoy, in a black velvet frock coat with a high collar that Harry thought looked like a vicar. Pansy Parkinson, clad in a frilly pale pink gown, hung tightly on Malfoy's arm.
Crabbe and Goyle were both green like two mossy boulders, and Harry was satisfied that neither of them could find a partner.
The oaken front door was opened, and everyone turned to see Durmstrang's student walking in with Professor Karkaroff. Krum walked in the front, surrounded by a girl in a golden dress with a flushed face.
Kara Rogers, the warrior of Beauxbatons, appeared with the warrior of Durmstrang. Fleur snorted disdainfully, raised her chin, looked at Albert, found that he didn't pay attention to Carla at all, and laughed again.
