Possible failures also require a large test space and a sufficient safety distance. This is also one of the main reasons why Guo Tailai's studio cannot be used as a testing place.
In addition, for each inspection test, the accumulated life should be recorded. Although the material has been tested for a long time, the cumulative service life can reach thousands or even tens of thousands of hours without any problems, but in practical applications, it is still necessary to record the cumulative service life. This test cannot be calculated and estimated. 10,000 hours, then you have to rely on 10,000 hours of operation to draw a conclusion. No other calculations and estimates are as convincing as this one. It is obviously impossible. Each test is at most a few hours and dozens of tests. After the test, it will stop and enter the half-disassembled maintenance and inspection state. Even if the average test is three hours a day, it will take three thousand three hundred and thirty-three days to get the result. This conclusion, more than nine years. Or double the test time, six hours or even ten hours of high-intensity tests a day, it will take at least three years.
That is to say, to launch a new engine, which claims to have a lifespan of 10,000 hours, it will take several years from the beginning of the engine's operation to the conclusion of its lifespan. Why do foreign aero-engines have advantages over domestic ones? They have several decades more start-up time than us, and the stable operating life alone needs to catch up.
