Chapter 656 Sirius’s Guidance
"How long has it been since you had a meal?" Fan Lin looked at Sirius speechlessly.
I have to admit that Dobby’s food is quite delicious. At least Sirius likes it. He is eating a chicken drumstick.
"It didn't take long, but I was quite busy, and I always had to deal with one bite." Sirius said.
Harry was also a little speechless, and he handed over a glass of watermelon juice.
Ron was reading the "Daily Prophet" that Sirius had put down. The content on it today was quite interesting.
Ron nudged Harry and handed him the Daily Prophet. The headline is: Barty Crouch's strange illness; another one is: The whereabouts of the Minister of Witches is unknown - the Minister of Magic is involved.
Harry read the contents. "They said Crouch seemed to be dying," Harry said slowly, "but anyone who has ever been there knows it wasn't that bad."
"My brother was Crouch's assistant," Ron told Sirius, "and he said Crouch was going crazy."
"I don't care!" Hermione said coldly.
"Hermione seems to be haunted by spirits," Ron whispered to Sirius, glancing at Hermione.
Sirius seemed interested. He glanced at Hermione, and then at Fan Lin. Regarding the elves, Sirius couldn't agree with Hermione's point of view, but I heard that Hermione actually started a family. The Elf Rights Protection Association, Sirius had seen Hermione's article in the newspaper.
"The first time you saw the elf was at the Quidditch World Cup. She helped Crouch get a seat, right?"
Harry, Ron and Hermione said in unison. "But Klaus didn't show up for that game. He was probably too busy."
Sirius sat there silently, even temporarily putting down the food in his hands.
"Harry, did you find your wand in your pocket after you left Quidditch?"
"Well..." Harry thought hard, "No," he finally remembered, "we weren't going to use it before we went to the forest. I put my hand in my pocket and there was nothing in it but Omickals. Yours Does that mean someone used magic to take my wand away?"
"Probably," said Sirius.
"Winky didn't steal your wand!" Hermione screamed.
"The elf is not next to you. If it uses magic, it will definitely be noticed. So who was sitting next to you at that time?" Sirius frowned. He was sitting next to Fudge and didn't pay much attention to Harry. .
"Many people. The Bulgarian Minister...Cornelly Fudge...and Lucius Malfoy..."
"It must be Malfoy!" Ron interrupted suddenly, so loudly that his voice echoed throughout the room, "I'm sure it's him, the platinum old bastard!"
"Anyone else?" Sirius asked.
"No more," Harry replied.
"And Ruth Bagmon." Hermione woke him up.
"Oh, right..." Harry returned. He looked at Fan Lin, as if to confirm if there was anything missing.
"I don't know Bagmon very well. I only know that he used to be a thug." Sirius was still pacing back and forth. "What happened to him?"
"Fortunately," Harry replied, "He always wants to help me win wizarding competitions."
"Really? Why would he do that?" Sirius frowned again.
"He said he liked me," Harry said.
Sirius Rhys mused.
"We saw him in the forest, just before the Black Mark appeared," Hermione told Sirius. "Remember?" she said to Harry and Ron.
"Yes, but he didn't stay in the forest!" Ron said. "As soon as we told him about the riot, he rushed back to the camp."
"How do you know?" Hermione retorted, "How do you know where he disappeared to?"
"Are you saying that Ruth Bagmon is using magic to confuse the black mark?" Ron said in disbelief.
"Bagmont is more likely than Winky," Hermione said stubbornly.
Ron looked at Sirius and said: "She is troubled by the house elves -"
But Sirius raised a hand to prevent Ron from continuing, "When the mark was covered, the elf was found holding Harry's wand. What did Crouch do?"
"He went to look in the bushes, but there was no one else there," Harry said.
"Of course," Sirius whispered, and Fan Lin could tell that he was leading, "He wants to nail everyone except his own elf... and then he catches her?"
"Yes," Hermione's anger grew again, "he caught her just because she didn't stay in the tent and came out to be ravaged."
"Hermione, please stop talking about elves," Ron said.
But Sirius shook his head and said: "She sees Klaus more accurately than you, Ron. If you want to know what a person is like, just look at how he treats people who are lower than him, not his equals." .”
He rubbed his unshaved face with his hands and thought hard. "Crouch was absent from Quidditch. But he asked his elves to save him a seat to watch the Quidditch World Cup, but he didn't show up to watch. He worked hard to get the wizarding games to resume, but he didn't go to watch. "It's not like Crouch, if he takes one day off sick, I'll eat the beak."
"Do you know Klaus before?" Harry asked.
Sirius's face darkened. Even though he had been rehabilitated, Fanlin could still see his reluctance on Sirius's face.
He was not willing to interrupt more. In fact, he was happy that Sirius gave Harry some guidance. It was not his doing anyway, and it did not violate the agreement with Dumbledore.
Sirius suddenly became as sinister as he had been when Harry first met him, the night Harry thought he was a murderer.
"I know him," he said slowly, "he's the one who sent me to Azkban without any trial."
"What?" Ron couldn't help asking.
"Just kidding!" said Harry.
Sirius took another big bite of chicken and said, "Crouch once served as the Minister of Magical Law Enforcement. Don't you know?" Harry and Ron shook their heads.
"He was the most promising to be the Minister of Magic," Sirius said. "He is a great wizard with endless magic power and a strong desire for power. Most importantly, he opposed Voldemort," he glanced at Harry. The look on his face said, "Crouch always openly opposes the dark forces...you won't understand...you are too young..."
"My dad said the same thing during the World Cup." Ron showed a hint of distress, "Why don't you try and tell us?"
A smile appeared on Sirius's thin face, "Okay, I'll try to tell you." (To be continued)
