Chapter 365: Ravenclaw's Diadem
Ravenclaw's diadem, also known as Ravenclaw's diadem, is the only relic of Rowena Ravenclaw, the founder of Ravenclaw College. She cast a spell on it to increase the wisdom of the wearer. The diadem is a jeweled, glittering crown, and the bottom edge of the crown is engraved with Ravenclaw's famous motto-"Extraordinary wisdom is the greatest wealth of mankind."
This is a well-known rumor about the Ravenclaw diadem.
However, unfortunately, this legendary magical item has been lost, as far as Fanlin knows.
The diadem was stolen by Ravenclaw's daughter Helena, because she hoped that the diadem would make her smarter.
However, Ravenclaw did not tell the other three founders of the college about this, just like Salazar Slytherin and the Chamber of Secrets. She kept this secret.
Not long after, Rowena Ravenclaw fell ill and hoped to see her daughter again, so she asked the Bloody Baron, who fell in love with Helena, to find Helena.
The Bloody Baron found Helena in the Albanian forest. Seeing him, Helena quickly hid the tiara in a tree hole. Baron pulled her back to see her mother, but she refused to move. Finally, the Bloody Baron lost his patience and killed her by mistake. After killing her, he regretted it, so he stabbed himself and ended his life. Ravenclaw also died of illness a few days later. No one knew where the tree where the tiara was hidden was, and no one knew who had seen it, let alone whether it still existed. The tiara disappeared from then on.
In fact, the souls of the two people returned to Hogwarts. Fanlin thought that it must be Ravenclaw who called the souls of the two people back, but Fanlin was very curious why Ravenclaw called Helena's soul back, but the tiara was not found.
The tiara is useless to ghosts, Fanlin knew this very well. Instead of leaving it in the Albanian forest, it is better to let it become a powerful foundation of Hogwarts.
However, it is also a good idea to leave it outside, so that if the tiara is lost, fewer people will covet it. You know, Rowena is known as the smartest wizard, this is the blood talent of the Ravenclaw family.
Fanlin thinks that the birth of the Ravenclaw crown is undoubtedly Ravenclaw's blood talent sealed by alchemy, so that the person wearing the crown can inherit her wisdom.
However, it may be a legacy of the ancient gods, such as the chains in his body.
Rowena Ravenclaw's crown seems to be sleeping forever in the forest of Albania.
Until the appearance of Tom Riddle, Tom coveted the treasures left by the four founders.
Facts have proved that Dumbledore's guess is not wrong. Tom likes to collect some things with historical value as his Horcruxes.
For example, the Slytherin locket still lying in Kreacher's hand, Hufflepuff's gold cup, and Ravenclaw's crown, of course, there is also the ring, but the fifteen-year-old Tom has not yet discovered the mystery of the ring, the Resurrection Stone, one of the three Deathly Hallows.
Looking at it now, these so-called artifacts seem to be a bit unworthy of their name.
There were many things in the world of the Age of Gods that could rival them.
For example, the Sword of Victory of the Pendragon family, Merlin's Dragon Ring, and so on.
Even the alchemical products of human beings can compete with these so-called Deathly Hallows, or the sword of Gryffindor, as long as it kills a powerful enough creature, it can also compete with these legendary artifacts.
However, you have to try to know these things, many things are lost, such as the crown of Ravenclaw.
Fanlin didn't know how Voldemort persuaded Helena. Obviously, the information of the crown can only be obtained through Helena.
The means are nothing more than deception.
Tom still has many ways to deal with a ghost who died prematurely and completely imprisoned himself in the Ravenclaw Tower. Fanlin firmly believes this.
However, Tom was confident enough that he hid the Ravenclaw diadem in the Room of Requirement. Although this is a good place to hide things, it is inevitable that someone will find it.
Anyway, find it first.
In Harry's eyes, Fanlin's body was agitated uneasily, and circles of aqua blue halos continued to spread out with Fanlin as the center.
What followed was naturally the feeling of the arrival of ordinary winter. They were very familiar with Fanlin's magical properties, and warming spells were naturally indispensable, especially when Fanlin was performing magic.
Harry rubbed his hands, and two warming spells were attached to him and Hermione respectively.
"What are you doing, Fanlin? Did you succeed?" Harry asked, he couldn't understand Fanlin's current state.
Fanlin's experience of magic was definitely the one Harry knew the most about.
Whether it was Sirius or anyone else, the process of magic was much easier than Fanlin's.
This made Harry very worried. He was not sure whether Fanlin's current condition was caused by the magic riot and loss of control. However, the spreading magic halo seemed to have no effect other than lowering the temperature.
"Fanlin." Hermione shouted. The girl was so worried. The magic explosion just now covered the entire Room of Requirement with a layer of frost. She was afraid that Fanlin would lose control and turn into a ball of unconscious magic.
"Don't worry." Fanlin's body was shaking quickly, and his head was revealed. It looked very strange, like a ghost that had not yet fully condensed into a solid body.
"I'm fine, my magic has succeeded."
"Then what are you doing now?" Harry asked puzzled.
"There are still some things to deal with." Fanlin frowned, and his face looked a little illusory. He wanted to maintain this state, but judging from the magic feedback he received.
There were too many dark magic roads in the Room of Requirement, almost a collection of several centuries. All the prohibited items were basically hidden here. Fanlin could not tell which ones were left by Tom.
He needed some triggers. He had to make some changes to the Ravenclaw crown so that his magic could clearly capture the location of the Horcrux.
Tom couldn't have just put the Ravenclaw diadem here, he must have arranged a way to hide it. For example, a magic circle to cover up the smell, or similar to the corpses and poisons guarding around the Slytherin locket.
Either way is quite dangerous.
Vanlin remembered that the diadem was destroyed by the dual effects of the fangs and the Fiendish Fire Curse, but Voldemort couldn't have left no protection at all. Harry was able to escape the counterattack of the diadem by relying on the broom and the defense of the Room of Requirement itself. However, Dumbledore is still there, Vanlin just needs to find him.
