Tong Yan's chest felt slightly warm, and her hands that were washing fruit paused.

Shi Jinyang stared at her with a smile on his face. Under the light, his dark eyes, as dark as the night, showed a glimmer of smile.

She paused, and added mercilessly, "I just made a little more when I was cooking. Mr. Shi, this is called freeloading!"

She explained seriously, as if she didn't want Shi Jinyang to misunderstand.

Shi Jinyang's lips twitched slightly, and he shrugged, with an expression that said whatever she said was true.

Tong Yan ignored him, turned her head and continued to prepare her dinner.

After cooking a few French dishes and serving them, Shi Jinyang sat on the chair before she came to the table, holding the cutlery in his hand, waiting for her, his eyes seemed to be extremely expectant.
