The Winner Is King

Chapter 9 Welcome to the World of Master Coaching

"What the hell is this?!"

Chang Sheng asked such a question.

But the electronic sound is still repeating mechanically: "Loading, please wait. Loading, please wait, loading, please wait..."

Chang Sheng simply searched around the room, trying to find something that might make a sound.

But he found nothing. No matter where he looked, there was always a black window in front of him, and a football kept spinning.

He simply closed his eyes, he didn't believe that he would see this ghost thing... But he failed, even if he closed his eyes, he could still "see" this scene. It's as if that thing is in front of my eyes first, but I "see" it not with vision, but with consciousness.

So he gave up, opened his eyes again, and stared at the spinning football "in front of him" in a daze.

"It may take several minutes to start the system for the first time, please wait patiently." Perhaps feeling his helplessness and dissatisfaction, the electronic sound interrupted the boring "loading, please wait" reminder, and changed a method.

At this moment, the waiting to load interface finally disappeared!

This made Chang Sheng's eyes brighten, and he saw a dressing room.

Or a scene from the inside of a dressing room appears in the window.

The electronic voice sounded again: "Welcome to the master football coaching world."

"What the hell is this?" Chang Sheng, who was stunned, couldn't help asking.

"This is the master football coaching world." The electronic voice explained without any emotion. "You could call it a 'master coach.'"

"This is... the latest computer game?"

"This is a prop that can help you realize your ideals and give your ideals the wings to take off. With the 'Master Coach', you can become a real master. 'Master Coach' is made for future masters."

Although this passage is supposed to be an advertisement, it always feels awkward to read this electronic voice without cadence.

Chang Sheng grasped key information from it.

"Props? This is... a prop that can help me realize my ideal?"

"Is such that."

Chang Sheng has experienced such nonsensical things as time travel, and he is already fully prepared in this regard. No matter how mysterious things are, he can accept them now.

So his focus is no longer on "why such a ghost thing popped up all of a sudden", but on "tools".

No matter what it is, as long as it can help him realize the dream he and his brother share, that's fine.

He became interested and hurriedly asked: "Tell me in detail?"

So the electronic voice began to explain to him in detail what this so-called "master coach" was.

This "coach master" is actually a task upgrade system, just like playing a game, there are various tasks, and Changsheng needs to complete the tasks to obtain various rewards. Rewards include experience rewards, talent skill rewards, and energy rewards.

"Wait, I know both experience rewards and talent skill rewards, what is this energy reward for?" Chang Sheng interrupted the electronic voice.

"Energy is used to use innate skills." The electronic voice explained.

"Innate skills still need energy?" Chang Sheng was a little surprised.

"Yes. This is for necessary restraint."

"Why limit?"

"In order for you to fully appreciate that it takes effort to get rewarded."

"Hey, I know that very well!"

"But there is no guarantee that you will be so clear in the future. When you have achieved a certain degree of success, you may be willing to stay where you are and stand still..."

Chang Sheng laughed: "You really underestimate me!"

"In short,

This is a system setting. "The unemotional electronic voice itself has a sense of indifference that "rejects people thousands of miles away". Chang Sheng can't find a way to answer such a cold answer. Since it is set by the system, he can only follow the This is the way to go.

"Can we continue the introduction?" the electronic voice asked.

"Okay, let's continue." Chang Sheng waved his hand helplessly.

So the electronic sound continued to chatter.

Before Chang Sheng thought that experience was used to upgrade himself, but after he listened to it, he realized that he was wrong.

This experience reward is not used to upgrade himself, but to upgrade the "master coach" system. At present, the "Master Coach" system that Chang Sheng has seen is still in its infancy, with limited functions. If you want to add new functions, you have to upgrade this system. And he himself does not need to upgrade, or his upgrade cannot be quantified by data.

He is now only the head coach of a youth team of a West Second club. If he becomes the head coach of a West Second team's first team in the future, it will be considered an upgrade for him.

If he wants to become the world's top coach, he has to keep climbing, from the second tier league to the first tier league, from the relegation team in the first tier league to the mid-range team in the first tier league, from the mid-tier league to the first-tier league. From a strong team to a team with the strength to win the championship, from a team with the strength to win the championship to a wealthy team... This in itself is a process of continuous upgrading. But this kind of upgrade cannot be simply quantified by data, and it is not so absolute-when you lose the coaching position of a first-class team and can only be forced to coach a relegation team, this is actually a relegation... If you want to use data to If you solidify your personal upgrade, there will be many problems that cannot be solved in practice.

For example, if the winning level has reached the third level and fourth level, is it impossible to coach a team in the second level league? Is it true that as long as Chang Sheng keeps upgrading, he will definitely be able to coach the best team and will never be relegated?

This is impossible, and it is a lot of trouble in practice.

So the system is upgraded to digitization, but personal cultivation is naturally distinguished by the "level" of this world.

The upgraded "Master Trainer" will have more and better rewards.

And these rewards are very helpful for Chang Sheng.

For example, after Chang Sheng completes a task, the reward he gets is [Elementary Training], which is used to increase the training effect of the whole team by 3%, and lasts for two weeks. Then after the system is upgraded, if completing the task still rewards the talent skill that improves the training effect, it will increase the training effect by 6%, and the duration is two weeks.

"Wait, why is it increased by 3%? Is this too low?" Chang Sheng was dissatisfied.

"The first-level system can only give this level of rewards. If you want to get better rewards, you must work hard to complete the task and upgrade the system. In addition, 3% is still a big help for you now, Please don't underestimate the three percent. And please note that this skill improves all abilities."

Chang Sheng fell silent, he learned additional information from it. That is to say, this kind of reward aimed at improving the training effect may also increase the effect of individual training... and the degree of improvement will be better than this overall improvement effect!

"Can we continue the introduction?" the electronic voice asked again.

"Okay." Chang Sheng waved his hand.

The electronic sound started again.

As it said to Changsheng before, the higher the system level, the better the rewards.

Another example is that some very good rewards cannot be given to constant victories in the primary system, but through the upgrade system, after reaching a certain level, those very powerful talent skills will be unlocked and may appear in the task rewards.

Of course, the higher the system level, the more experience and difficulty the upgrade requires.

In order to upgrade the system, Changsheng must constantly accumulate experience, which can be accumulated through competitions. However, the experience obtained in the competition is very little, compared with the experience needed to upgrade, it is simply a drop in the bucket.

For example, Chang Sheng has just coached the C team, which is the youth team. According to the system explanation, the youth team only gains 30 experience points and 3 energy points after winning a game. A tie is less than ten points of experience and a little energy. If you lose a game, you will have no experience and no energy.

Chang Sheng clicked his tongue: "This is too little. If you only rely on playing games to advance, who knows when you will be promoted..."

"So upgrading mainly depends on completing tasks to gain a lot of experience." The system explained. "The experience rewarded by the task is very rich."

Tasks are divided into main tasks and side tasks.

The main task is often a large task with a long duration, which may also include various small and medium tasks. Generally speaking, leading a certain team to successfully relegation, or promotion, or winning a championship is the main task. But the main task is not limited to this.

The main task must be completed, because if it is not completed, the system cannot be upgraded, even if the experience value is reached, it cannot be upgraded. The main task is to unlock the conditions for system upgrades. After completing the main task, the system has the conditions for upgrading. However, if the experience value is not enough, it cannot be upgraded. You have to wait for the experience value to reach the upgrade standard.

In other words, the experience points and the completion of the main task, both of which are necessary conditions for system upgrades, are indispensable. Don't think that as long as the main task is completed, you can automatically upgrade, and don't think that if the experience value reaches the standard, it doesn't matter whether you do the main task or not, you can still upgrade.

If the main task is to upgrade the system, then the side task is to serve Changsheng.

Side missions mainly provide various experience rewards, talent skill rewards, and energy rewards. The time length and difficulty are different. You can choose to do it or you can choose not to do it, which is more flexible. There is nothing to lose if you don't do it, or if you fail.

The content and form of side missions are very flexible, not necessarily all related to the game. For example, if you lead a team to win your first victory as a coach of this team, it can be regarded as completing a task and you can get rewards immediately. Another example is that you have won the trust and support of some players through hard work. Maybe this is a task. If you complete it, you can get the task reward. There are also various task rewards. Anyway, among the three reward situations, there may be two of them, or only one of them. Or you have all three, but you have little experience, low energy, and unsatisfactory natural skills, but the victory is comprehensive, and all three can be supplemented.

The rewards of side quests are not as good as those of main quests, but there are more side quests than main quests. If you want to improve your strength as soon as possible, you have to do more side quests. After all, the main quests are big tasks that take a long time. If you only do the main quests, maybe only one or two rewards a year, it's not worth it.

Therefore, it is the kingly way to quickly improve your own strength and work hard to complete various side tasks.

The electronic sound was endless, but Chang Sheng was completely dumbfounded...

PS, for the detailed description of the system, I will put it in the work related in the future, and update it from time to time according to the development of the plot. If you have any questions, you can refer to the chapter "Master Coach System" in the related works in the future.
