Chapter 24 Answering questions from readers 170321
1. Is Snape Draco's godfather?
Answer: No. This is a fan setting, and the author does not give reference (for the settings acknowledged by the author, please refer to the chapter "Original World Setting" related to the work)-
2. Should the Black ancestral home be protected so that only the legal heir or the legitimate heir of the blood can enter?
Answer: No, Mrs. Black died in 1985, when Sirius was already in prison. According to all the official known protective magic, if the control is not transferred before the death of the magic controller, the magic will automatically become invalid (there are many examples of this, such as Extis and Azkaban). Legal heirs are absolutely nonsense. If there was such magic, Scrimgeour would not have detained Dumbledore's relics for 30 days. Don't tell me that Mrs. Black is better than Dumbledore. As for the purity of blood, the Black family has been passed down since the Middle Ages, and has intermarried with other families for more than a thousand years. The "Black ratio" in Sirius and Sherin's bloodline should be similar.

3. What is the lifespan of house elves?
The official data is 200-300 years old, but long-lived alien species cannot be ruled out; the age of wizards is also about 80-100 years old, but Bathilda Bagshot, Grindelwald's great-aunt (two generations older), lived to 1997; so Rowling half-jokingly said on the official Twitter on February 3, 2017 that Kreacher died shortly after 1997 (the exact number of years was not mentioned), at the age of 666. I think this setting is acceptable.

In order to avoid similar problems, other fan settings that are not cited are also listed here:
1. Trace is released on the wand-this is never mentioned in the original book
2. Penelope Clearwater's grade - According to the 2004 revision, this controversy has been resolved by Rowling. She entered school in 1988, the same grade as Percy, and 4 grades higher than Sherin/Harry
3. Zacharias Smith became the Quidditch captain - this was never mentioned in the original book (I don't know about the movie)
4. The petrification spell does not exist - the "petrification of all" spell is used to deal with the full body binding spell, which is an advanced version of the leg-locking spell, tying up both hands and feet
5. The freezing spell is a mistranslation by the People's Publishing House - Freeze has two meanings in English: freezing and immobilization. In the original book, the Freezing Spell can only make the target (the little green fairy and the Muggle sirens) immobile, so I translated it as "fixation spell"
6. Former Hogwarts headmasters - the only ones recognized in official documents (in order from the last) are McGonagall, Snape, Dumbledore, Dippet, Black, Moore, Fusco, Everard, and Devonte (fan fiction likes to quote the headmasters in movies, but in fact, those are all the names of the authors of low-grade textbooks or the names of movie producers, which is purely a spoof)
7. Galleons are made of pure gold - this is never mentioned in the original book. I think it is more reasonable that Galleons are magic metals processed by goblin alchemy
