Chapter 1683 Dream Experiment
Sanders: "Now that the Rising Stars Game is over, are you planning to talk to me about leaving?"
Angel walked to the window and could see the situation in the manor downstairs through the clear glass.
Greia is training Toby who has transformed into a gryphon, while Charlie is sensing Toby's emotions with her eyes closed, taking out her notebooks from time to time to record them.
"It's indeed time to leave, but I want to stay a few more days and try to let Toby face his resentment." Angel said.
Sanders: "Is that why you came to me?"
Angel nodded.
"Okay." Sanders said calmly: "Although Lord Rhine hopes that we can go back earlier, according to Maya's prophecy, stability should be maintained in the ruins in a short period of time."
After a pause, Sanders asked: "You said, let Toby face the most resentful thoughts? Are you planning to let it enter the house of heart?"
"Yes, according to some test reports I asked Flood to do, the House of Heart should be able to work on Toby. However, the reason why I plan to stay a few more days is because of Charlie."
Although the Water Mark Witch allowed Angel to control Charlie, Angel couldn't take her out of the Sky Mechanical City.
Therefore, he hoped to cooperate with Charlie's sensing ability in Sky Mechanical City to solve Toby's matter as soon as possible.
Sanders was noncommittal about this. What he wanted to do most now was to study macro and micro energy. It didn't matter whether he studied in the Sky Mechanical City or returned to the Savage Cave.
"You make your own decision about Toby." Sanders paused: "However, I am somewhat interested in the House of Heart research report you mentioned."
After a while, Sanders entered the Wilderness of Dreams and found Froud to watch the reports on the House of Heart.
Angel left Sanders' study and came to the yard.
Angel arrived and asked Toby, who was training, to look over with tears in his eyes. It has obviously transformed into a gryphon as huge as a hill, but its tearful eyes still make people feel pity for the contrast in size.
Although Toby was sending a distress signal to Angel, based on past experience, it also knew that Angel would not come to save him.
But this time, Toby was a little surprised.
Angel walked directly to the field and stood between Toby and Greia.
Greya frowned: "What do you mean?"
Because the target was Angel, Greya had already restrained her tone. If it were anyone else, Greya would probably just ignore it and continue beating him with a whip.
"I'm going to do an experiment that will be beneficial to Toby's situation." Angel said directly.
Upon hearing that it was about an experiment that was "beneficial to Toby's condition," Greya's brows widened slightly: "If it can be beneficial to Toby, could it be related to the calamity of extreme resentment?"
"Yes." Angel nodded: "Although this experiment does not require Toby's physical condition, it may require a relatively stable mental state, so..." He would intervene to interrupt Greya's training.
Greia also understood what Angel meant, put away the special whip in her hand, and walked aside: "I want to hear the design of your experiment and the expected results first."
After Grea walked aside, Toby rushed to Angel with a happy face and rubbed his head against Angel, trying to show his joy. However, Toby forgot that he was still in the state of a griffin, and his whole body was still covered in flames. Fortunately, Angel dodged quickly, otherwise his hair would have been burned.
Toby seemed to have noticed his own situation. He lowered his head in confusion, then chirped and transformed into a gray bird form before flying to rest on Angel's shoulder.
Angel smoothed Toby's hair and then walked to Greia.
"I want to keep the specific experimental process a secret for the time being."
"Keep it secret?" A suspicious expression appeared on Greya's face. This was related to Toby's grudge. Why would Angel keep it a secret? Unless, in this experiment, there is something that Angel does not want to show, or a process that he does not want to show others?
"Yes, I'm sorry that I can't tell you the specific situation at the moment. But I can tell you that I don't plan to do this experiment in reality."
"If the experiment is not done in reality, why should we do it in a dream?" Charlie was also eavesdropping. When she heard Angel's words, she couldn't help but mutter in a low voice.
Angel glanced at Charlie: "You are right, I am indeed going to do this experiment in my dream."
Charlie was stunned and didn't understand what Angel meant. Greya came to his senses: "Are you planning to enter Toby's dream?" When she was at Castle Black, she had seen Angel enter Toby's dream, so she asked this question.
"You also know that thoughts of extreme resentment will turn into characters in dreams to induce Toby. Toby cannot achieve complete self-control in his own dreams."
Greya nodded: "Entering other people's dreams is equivalent to entering a realm carefully created by others. This is a very dangerous thing."
"For this reason, I will not go to Toby's dream. I plan to let Toby enter my dream." Angel stopped at this point.
Greya also understood clearly that Angel was probably planning to conduct an experiment in his dream, but there must be a hidden side to it.
"Although I don't know what experiment you want to do, how do you let Toby enter your dream? Toby, you shouldn't cross the border to learn dream magic, right?"
"I have a way." Angel blinked: "The dream magic I know is not only the dream spell."
Angel's subconscious meaning was that he knew other dream magic tricks and could bring Toby into his dream.
If the person standing in front of Angel was a dream wizard, he would probably find out that this was a lie immediately. Even if there was a way to let others enter his dream, it was definitely not a simple magic trick.
However, the person standing in front of Angel was Greya. She didn't know much about the dream department, which had extremely few people. So, she didn't notice anything wrong for a while.
Greya pondered for a moment: "Since you have made a choice, then... okay."
Greya would definitely be worried about this kind of experiment with unknown process, but she also knew that Angel would never harm Toby. Based on this, Greya still chose to believe Angel.
Angel nodded slightly to Greya, indicating that he was relieved. Then, he looked at Xia Li who was eavesdropping openly on the side.
"Wait, after I take Toby into the dream, I hope you can help record the changes in his emotions."
Xia Li didn't expect Angel to assign her a task. She hesitated for a moment, and then nodded. She followed Greya, and her mission was to record Toby's situation.
After arranging everything outside, Angel did not enter the house, but sat down in the yard. In front of Greya and Xia Li, he took Toby into the dream wilderness.
When Angel and Toby fell asleep.
Greya looked at Toby who was sleeping soundly with his eyes closed, and a puzzled look appeared on her face.
