Part 23
Remember for a second
He strode to the back door of the classroom, grabbed the short-haired girl who was cleaning the wall, and quickly turned the fan switch.
A gust of wind suddenly blew past his ears, and Chu Mian looked up to find that the fan blades above were turning slowly, and then returned to a standstill.
"What are you doing? It's very dangerous, don't you know?" Yu Ran didn't restrain his voice, and his questioning attracted the attention of the surrounding classmates.
The short-haired girl didn't dare to raise her eyes to look at him, and hurriedly apologized: "I'm sorry! I didn't know that the switch was so loose... I just wanted to tear off the tape on it... I'm sorry, sorry..."
Chu Mian swiftly jumped off the table, landed safely, walked over and gently touched Yu Ran with her elbow, and whispered, "I'm fine."
Then he looked at the girl with a gentle attitude: "It doesn't matter, you can continue."
Yu Ran sighed and told her, "Be careful in the future."
The girl's back froze, thinking that Yu Ran was threatening her, so she nodded hastily.
Anyway, they had already come down from the table, and Chu Mian was too lazy to turn back, lest Yu Ran target him again. He threw the rag into the basin, went out to the bathroom to wash his hands, and went downstairs to buy an eraser.
In the commissary, Chu Mian saw several boys in his class, one of whom was always hanging out with Yu Ran, he had an impression.
"Hey, what a coincidence." Fang Zhao greeted him when he saw him, "Chu Mian, did you overslept and didn't eat at noon? Is it alright now?"
"Very good." Chu Mian smiled at him lightly, and took a bottle of pure beef from the shelf.
"Let's wake you up at noon later, it's easier to get sleepy when you're hungry." Fang Zhao decided so, without giving Chu Mian a chance to refuse, he paused for a while, and then he casually mentioned, "Yu Ran still misses you after eating. , I wanted to bring you a copy back, but I'm afraid it doesn't suit your taste."
The cow nǎi jingling on the shelf poured down several bottles, Chu Mian cleared his throat and quickly straightened them. He didn't look back, and asked Fang Zhao casually, "Is Yu Ran generous?"
Fang Zhao didn't think about it: "Of course, he will give me snacks."
"Only for you?"
"Because you're familiar with me now... What's the matter?" Fang Zhao thought about the reason why Chu Mian asked, "Oh, you want to eat it too, then next time I remind him to give it to you first."
"...No." Chu Mian pursed her lips. After hesitating, she asked Fang Zhao, "He gave me a lot of candy before, what do you think I should buy him?"
"What's 'appropriate or not' in this, and it's not a gift." Fang Zhao said as he should, "Yu Ran should not be picky. I think he eats the same thing every day, and he also made a snack plan for next week."
Chu Mian nodded, and then chose a bucket of Planet Cups on the recommendation of the shop owner.
"Can you help me give it to him?" Chu Mian asked.
Fang Zhao was puzzled, "What if you give it to him yourself?"
It really wouldn't matter, but Chu Mian didn't want to be the one who took the initiative to reconcile.
After all, he didn't do anything wrong. Of course, he didn't think there was anything wrong with Yu Ran, but the two had different principles, and friction was inevitable. So it's better to turn over this awkward page and change the two to live in peace. He didn't want to waste his precious study time in order to deal with interpersonal relationships.
Although Fang Zhao didn't understand the reason why Chu Mian was bewildering, he still agreed and went back with the bucket of the planet cup, before putting it on his table while Yu Ran was out.
The desks and chairs in the classroom were returned to their original positions after the cleaning. When Yu Ran saw the bucket of chocolate biscuits, he thought others had forgotten them, so he held it up and asked who the owner was. Fang Zhao pulled Yu Ran aside and quietly told him that it was from Chu Mian.
Yu Ran looked at Chu Mian's position and found that the other party was sleeping on the table.
"I was still awake just now." Fang Zhao once again sighed at the speed at which Chu Mian fell asleep.
Yu Ran didn't say anything, went back to his seat and put the planet cup on the ground, then leaned most of his body and gave Chu Mian a "huh" softly.
Chu Mian didn't move, his face was buried in his arms, and he looked like he should be sleeping soundly.
Yu Ran lifted the lid of the planet cup and took out a few and placed them on Chu Mian's table corner.
The leader came to check the results of the general cleaning, and then the students continued the class. Chu Mian was still lying on the table, with half of her face sticking out her arms, she silently opened her eyes and looked at Yu Ran's back.
Usually, Yu Ran couldn't sit still in class. For a while, he tilted his neck to read the book on the blackboard, and then twisted half of his body out of his seat to find someone else to borrow a correction tape, which often blocked Chu Mian's vision. Only when facing a resolute Chinese teacher can he sit quietly and obediently.
"It took too much time to wait for you to check the hygiene just now, so I won't write it by default today, I'll check and ask questions.
