Snake Immortal: Devour the Immortal Emperor at the Beginning

End of Volume Summary and Reflections

2.043 million words, the fifth volume is finished.

This volume is undoubtedly the longest volume I have written, with a full 600,000 words. According to this rule, the sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth volumes of the spirit world are heading for 5 million words. If the fairy world is included, it may be even more.

At the beginning of this volume, some controversial plots were written, such as the battle with the Hai Teng brothers, such as Yu Shiyu. I found that many people did not understand what I wanted to express.

What I want to express is that the world is not black and white, and the protagonist is not the righteous side. As a cultivator, in order to survive and for the sake of profit, you are often forced to do some "evil" things, which is contrary to modern values.

Whether it is Xu Hei, Hai Teng, or the starfish monster clan, they are not simply judged by right and wrong.

An innocent and poor girl is caught by you. You want to survive and hide yourself, so you can only kill her, even if she has done nothing wrong. What will you do?

Once this kind of plot is written, it will inevitably be abused. No matter how it is handled, there will be people who are dissatisfied. If you don't kill her, you are a saint, and if you kill her, you are a demon. Therefore, I will try to avoid this kind of plot in the future.

So in the middle and late stages of the fifth volume, I resolutely did not touch those seemingly profound things, and only wrote simple and straightforward content, rushing forward, but the effect was good. It’s not that those contents are bad. I admit that I am not capable enough to control that kind of plot, and I deserve to be scolded.

Everyone likes to watch the explosion and killing of villains such as the Blood Refining Sect and the Tomb Sect. Instead of fighting against "villains" such as the Starfish for the sake of competing for resources and interests.

Including some books I have read recently, when the protagonist kills a passerby in order to survive, the author will definitely arrange some extremely heinous crimes for this passerby, so that the protagonist has no psychological burden to kill. Although hypocritical, it is useful.

Summarizing experiences and lessons is a must for the summary at the end of the volume.

The plot of the spirit world only has a general idea, and it takes time to organize the outline, but the daily updates will not stop, this is the bottom line.

I will try my best to write what I can, and will not try those profound things.

The theme of the next volume has not been decided yet. As for those written at the end of the first volume, they can be ignored. I may change it at any time. (Ju Long Qi was changed temporarily. It was Dragon Claw before.)

The beginning of each volume is a bit slow, laying the groundwork, digging holes, and establishing characters. This is especially true for the Spirit World. It will slowly unfold a huge world view. I hope everyone will be patient. (From the second to the fifth volume, the beginning of each volume was criticized and vomited.)

Of course, I will speed up the pace of the Spirit World and try to make every chapter interesting.

The currently known races in the Spirit World include human, demon, demon, blood, shadow, wood spirit, stone spirit, fire spirit... all of which have been mentioned in the Mortal World.

The world view of the Spirit World is much larger than that of the Mortal World. I hope to write it more exciting and interesting than the Mortal World.

It is essential for the protagonist to show off, and at the same time, it must be humorous and establish a few good characters. I don’t expect depth. I just hope that everyone can enjoy it and not be tired. I hope that in terms of enjoyment, it can surpass any previous volume.

I will also bring up the supporting characters that everyone likes. I will try to avoid stereotyping the villains. Jiang Liuyu was originally quite interesting, but he was accidentally killed. It's a pity.

Speaking of which, the big villain Xuan Yangzi in the first volume seems to be still alive. He is quite capable to be alive until now.

Anyway, thank you all for reading all the way to now, accompanying Xu Hei from ignorance to wit and decisiveness, from beast to humane. Xu Hei can grow to this point, everyone has contributed!

If you have any good opinions and ideas, and what style you want to see, you can put them forward. Anyway, the author will not listen to advice. (Just kidding, listen to advice.)

Finally, it's the important part of the end of the volume again. In each volume, only once-

Ask for a gift, please! This is very important to me. Thank you all readers, thank you parents for your food and clothing! Thank you!
